Toll Brothers Inc. on Tuesday said fourth-quarter profit nearly doubled as sales rose, beating analyst expectations.
The luxury homebuilder said earnings per share were $3.02, up from $1.55 in the comparable quarter a year ago.
Net income was $374.3 million, compared with $199.3 million a year ago.
Sales rose to $3.04 billion from $2.55 billion, beating analyst expectations of $2.9 billion.
Home sales in the period rose to $2.95 billion from $2.5 billion, as the company delivered 3,341 homes, up 14% from the prior year period.
