Goldman Sachs (GS) and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) are among banks offering 500 million euros ($584.63 million) in debt to facilitate Warburg Pincus' acquisition of a majority stake in Uvex Group, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Commerzbank, Natixis, and UniCredit are also contributing to the financing package, which consists of a 400 million euros term loan and a 100 million euros revolving credit facility, which is expected to land in the syndicated loan market in September, according to the people.
Goldman Sachs and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya didn't immediately respond to requests for comments from MT Newswires.
