BYD's (HKG:1211, SHE:002594) sales declined to 300,222 units in March from 377,420 units in the year-ago period, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Production slipped to 300,399 units from 395,091 units in the prior year.
For the three months ended March 31, sales and output slipped 30% and 33% year over year to 700,463 vehicles and 708,037 units, respectively.
