The recent news about DeepSeek has definitely got people talking! While it's true that they need lesser powerful $NVIDIA(NVDA)$  chips (who know which chip they use??), it seems like they're not as reliant on them as other AI models. This is interesting, but I don't think it's a major threat to Nvidia in the long run. Here's why:

 - Nvidia's still the leader: Nvidia's GPUs are still top-of-the-line for AI, and their overall performance is hard to beat.

 - DeepSeek's still new: DeepSeek is impressive, but it's got a way to go before it can match the accuracy and versatility of models like GPT-4.

 - The AI pie is growing: The demand for AI is exploding, and that means more need for powerful hardware overall. Nvidia's in a great spot to benefit from this growth.

I see the drop was mainly because of Japan raising interest rates, it could cause some short-term market jitters. But historically, things tend to stabilize pretty quickly.

Overall, I'm still bullish on Nvidia. DeepSeek is an interesting development, but Nvidia's long-term prospects in the AI world remain strong!
