Boosters Authorized for Novavax. From the IV board: “Dear Novavax Participant,

Thank you for your continued participation and support of the PREVENT-19 trial!! We would like to inform you of a couple of updates regarding the trial.

First, in response to the recent tenets released by the United States Government regarding the execution of government-funded COVID-19 vaccine trials, Novavax will amend the PREVENT-19 protocol to provide Adult Participants with a Booster Dose. Novavax is currently reviewing logistics and timelines to provide participants with booster dose approximately 8 months after their active treatment, either during the initial series of vaccination or at the time of crossover.

Second, the CDC has recently updated their website (Interim Clinical Considerations for Use of COVID-19 Vaccines | CDC) to include more specific information about Novavax.
