The contracts don’t necessarily predict movements after the opening bell.</p>\n<p>Europe stocks declined Friday after a three-day winning streak. The Stoxx Europe 600 was lower 0.5% in morning trade. Consumer staples and communication services sectors led the losses while health care and information technology sectors rose.</p>\n<p>The U.K.’s FTSE 100, which is dominated by large international businesses, shed 0.3%. Other stock in Europe also mostly slipped as France’s CAC 40 fell 0.6%, the U.K.’s FTSE 250 lost 0.4%, and Germany’s DAX was down 0.7%.</p>\n<p>The Swiss franc, the euro and the British pound were flat against the dollar.</p>\n<p>In commodities, international benchmark Brent crude rose 0.2% to $76.64 a barrel. Gold was also up 0.2% to $1,753.00 a troy ounce.</p>\n<p>German 10-year bund yields were up to minus 0.236% and the yield on 10-year U.K. government debt known as gilts gained to 0.846%. 10-year U.S. Treasury yields were up to 1.438% from 1.408%.
