I don't know how many $(Disney)$ shareholders are also avid Disney fans, but I would think it is a very high percentage. I do not want to disparage shareholders, but I am glad that Disney stock has taken a big hit and hope it drops further to send a message to Disney that gouging park visitors that have been attending the parks for years and years, and even going beyond that to "own" a piece, albeit a very very small piece, of Disney by joining the DVC and making a commitment for anywhere from 40 to 50 years, is wrong, anti-Disney philosophy(especially when it comes to families), and will hopefully be counterproductive to revenue growth. I see and hear from many devout Disney fanatics who have grown considerably negative on Disney after years of painful price increases and disappearing benefits like free fastpasses and ADVANCE attraction reservations, not to mention the Magical Express for resort guests. I will not go into more specifics, but any Disney fan on this board knows exactly what I am talking about and cannot possibly see any benefit or "enhanced park experience" emerging from taking a FREE service and now charging for it, in addition to only allowing attraction reservations on the day of your visit(so you have to be up at 7 in the morning every day) and eliminating the also FREE 60 day reservation window. In the past Disney genuinely did make changes to improve your park experience, and was sincere in explaining why changes were made. Now they have turned their philosophy around 180 degrees and not only don't the changes benefit the park-goer and their families, but Disney's explanation of why they instituted the changes are insincere, irrational, illogical, and INSULTING to every attendee. Sorry----but I hope the stock continues to slide until Disney and Bob Chapek realize that they have made a big mistake, crossed a critical line, and eliminate and reverse some of the latest changes----which benefit NO ONE.
