Hello how are you?

Shares pared those gains during morning trade.\nUnlike initial public offerings, secondary listings may not be greeted with massive first-day rallies as shares of the company are already trading on another exchange.\nThe Hong Kong listing is a big moment for Baidu, China’s largest search engine. The company has had a rough couple years from mid-2018 and lagged behind rivals such asAlibabaandTencent. Baidu failed to move quickly asChinese users flocked to mobile search and a tough advertising market hurt the business.\nBut a turnaround, led by CEO Robin Li, has centered on convincing investors that the technology giant is a leader in artificial intelligence and autonomous driving in a bid to diversify its revenue stream beyond advertising. And that seems to paying off.\nIn mid-May 2018,Baidu’sU.S.-listed shares closed at $284.07 a share, a record high at the time. But the stock subsequently fell over 70% to a trough of $83.62 in March 2020 amid the stock market crash. That was the lowest close since April 2013.\nBut since the March 2020 low, shares have rallied over 200%. Baidu shares hit an all time high of $354.82 in February.\n“I think EV (electric vehicles) is part of the story. At the same time, cloud computing, integrating AI, these are all the areas where Baidu has been investing in very heavily really since 2014 and we’re just starting to see the fruits of those labors,” Brendan Ahern, chief investment officer at KraneShares, told “Squawk Box Asia” on Tuesday.\nBaidu has an autonomous driving system called Apollo which can be sold to automakers. The companystarted a standalone electric vehicle company in partnership with Chinese carmaker Geely. Baidu is also testing robotaxis in cities including in Beijing. And last month, the firm launched a smart transportation project in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, its biggest yet.\nJames Lee, U.S. and China internet analyst at Mizuho Securities, has a $350 price target on Baidu’s U.S.-listed shares, which is 31% higher than Monday’s closing price on Wall Street. He said that the autonomous driving business could be valued at $40 billion and that the Chinese government will continue to support this industry with favorable policies. Lee also said he expects Baidu’s advertising business to continue to gain momentum in the first quarter of this year.\n“We do like the fundamentals of the company and we continue to expect the Baidu shares will outperform the market,” Lee told “Street Signs Asia” on Tuesday.\nMeanwhile, Baidu has been looking to further diversify its revenue streams. The companyhas raised money for its Kunlun artificial intelligence semiconductor unit which is valued at $2 billion.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":149,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":377305541,"gmtCreate":1619493894683,"gmtModify":1634212296017,"author":{"id":"3562077406337898","authorId":"3562077406337898","name":"52b8d7b","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3562077406337898","authorIdStr":"3562077406337898"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like n comment please","listText":"Like n comment please","text":"Like n comment please","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":5,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/377305541","repostId":"1171287635","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1171287635","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1619493616,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1171287635?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-04-27 11:20","market":"us","language":"en","title":"California bank Five Star Bancorp sets terms for $100 million IPO","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1171287635","media":"renaissancecap...","summary":"Five Star Bancorp, a California bank with seven branches and two loan production offices, announced ","content":"
Five Star Bancorp, a California bank with seven branches and two loan production offices, announced terms for its IPO on Monday.
\n
The Rancho Cordova, CA-based company plans to raise $100 million by offering 5.3 million shares at a price range of $18 to $20. At the recent high of over $65,500 on Apr. 14, a one-dollar investment back then in the leading cryptocurrency was worth over $1.3 million.
\n
Ethereum Daily
\n
In October 2015,Ethereum was at around 55 cents per coin. A $100 investment at that time was worth over $660,000 at the May 6, $3642.25 peak.
\n
While incredible returns in cryptocurrencies are more than bubblicious, the asset class’s market cap at the $2.4 trillion level was only slightly higher than the leading publicly traded company, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL). As of the end of last week, APPL’s valuation was at the $2.085 trillion level. For an entire asset class, a market cap of $2.29 trillion may not signal bubble territory, according to many of the market’s devotees.
\n
Digital currencies are a libertarian response to government control of the money supply. Many see these tokens as the offspring of our technological era, since cryptocurrencies reflect a shift towards Fintech.
\n
When it comes to “irrational exuberance,” the rise in their value has created an environment of greed where market participants are investing in tokens and hoping for Bitcoin-like returns. The latest digital currency success story has beenDogecoin, whichbeganas a joke.
\n
Dogecoin Daily
\n
After trading at a fraction of a cent in late 2020, the price, at the end of last week, was over the 54 cent level. The digital token's market cap was over $70 billion, making Dogecoin the fourth leading crypto, which is far from a joke.
\n
Each day, the cryptocurrency asset class is reaching new levels of acceptance. Regulators in the US and Europe will need to decide if the asset class is a commodity, a currency, or something else. Meanwhile, time will tell if the price appreciation is a bubble or a new frontier that will change the way money flows worldwide.
\n
Are cryptos currencies, commodities, or something else?
\n
In 2017, when the CFTC decided to allow the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and other exchanges to listBitcoin futures, it took the position that the cryptocurrencies were commodities. It is challenging to pigeonhole the burgeoning asset class as they have idiosyncratic characteristics similar to commodities, given their penchant for price volatility.
\n
They are also exchange instruments with many commonalities with foreign exchange instruments. Cryptos are unique, which makes them hard to fathom for market traditionalists.
\n
At the same time, there is broad agreement that blockchain technology, the child of Bitcoin, revolutionizes payments and record keeping. The tokens that gave birth to Fintech is another story.
\n
In 2017, JP Morgan Chase’s CEO, Jamie Dimon, said that Bitcoin and digital currencies were a “fraud.” At the time, he said that anyone at his bank caught trading Bitcoin or the other novel instruments would be fired on the spot.
\n
Warren Buffet, the much-followed value investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRKa), called Bitcoin financial “rat poison squared.”
\n
Four years later, Jamie Dimon is singing a different tune as JP Morgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) is opening a fund for its high net worth customers to invest in cryptocurrencies. Meanwhile, Mr. Buffet appears to be sticking to his guns. This month, his partner, Charlie Munger, doubled down by saying that digital currencies are “disgusting and contrary to the interests of civilization.”
\n
There are now futures contracts on BitcoinandEthereumtrading on CME. On May 3, the CME rolled out amicro Bitcoin contractwith lower initial margin requirements to increase the addressable market for trading.
\n
Coinbase’s (NASDAQ:COIN) listing on NASDAQ made the platform for over-the-counter digital currency trading, investing, and services, a publicly traded exchange worth nearly $48 billion at $258.37 per share at the end of last week. Meanwhile, the CME and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), two leading traditional exchange platforms, had market caps of $77.92 billion and $63.74 billion, respectively. It took the CME and ICE around two decades to reach these market caps; COIN did it in one month.
\n
On Apr. 14, COIN’s market cap reached an incredible $100 billion on the first day of trading.
\n
Regulators need to answer one key question
\n
No one is arguing that cryptocurrencies are not a unique asset class. The demand for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the other over 9,820 coins and growing is rising. The market cap was over the $2.29 trillion level last week as it recently rose above the world’s leading company, Apple.
\n
Regulators need to define this asset class before they can regulate it effectively. One of the global regulatory environment's critical issues is that the philosophy that underlies cryptocurrencies is a libertarian rejection of government involvement in money.
\n
This ideology could be a challenging hump to overcome. Once past that issue, custody and security are issues.
\n
On the face of it, the recent hack of the Colonial pipeline that brings gasoline to the US East Coast may have nothing to do with cryptocurrencies. Still, it raises the issue of computer hackers’ ability to crack into energy flows critical to a country’s national security.
\n
Custody and security for computer wallets holding trillions in value is a substantial, and in some ways similar issue facing regulators, who see their job as “protecting the public.” Moreover, it may not be in a government’s best interest to give up control of the money supply as the use of cryptos in the global financial system grows.
\n
After all, controlling short-term interest rates, influencing rates further out along the yield curve, and the ability to expand or contract the amount of currency in the financial system are critical monetary and fiscal policy tools. Indeed, regulators have their hands full defining the cryptocurrency asset class as it does not fit easily into any existing regulatory verticals.
\n
Blockchain is changing past business notions
\n
Blockchain is a complex core component of the digital currency asset class. However, it is a basic and straightforward notion that also drives Fintech. A blockchain is a list of transactions that anyone can view and verify. It is transactional history.
\n
The Bitcoin blockchain contains a record of every time a party sent or received Bitcoin. Almost all cryptocurrencies are secured via blockchain networks, but blockchain has applications far beyond the cryptos.
\n
Payments via blockchain are more secure than standard debit or credit card transactions. Moreover, accuracy is constantly verified by a massive level of computing power, increasing the speed and efficiency of the payment system.
\n
The blockchain also eliminates the need for third-party processors. Sensitive information is omitted, providing a level of identity protection. They may be a bit of both wrapped in an enigma that questions economic and political conventions.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":538,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":102349478,"gmtCreate":1620179750794,"gmtModify":1634207185269,"author":{"id":"3562077406337898","authorId":"3562077406337898","name":"52b8d7b","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3562077406337898","authorIdStr":"3562077406337898"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like n comment","listText":"Like n comment","text":"Like n comment","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":5,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/102349478","repostId":"1115203133","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1115203133","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1620178775,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1115203133?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-05 09:39","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why is dogecoin’s price spiking? They're going to have to grow back, but they're going to get through this,\" he toldYahoo Finance Live, while cautioning that passengers may still be wary of traveling to locked-down locations.

\"They've been afraid to get to New York City and find out it's under quarantine, or LA is shut down, or things like that. When we get more confidence in the destination we're going to see more people flying. But right now, no one wants to fly to a place where they can't buy a hamburger,\" said Boyd, the president of Boyd Group International, which provides analysis for airports and aviation businesses.

The data backs up Boyd's contention that the airline industry is recovering. According to theTransportation Security Administration, more than 1 million people passed each day through the nation's airports between March 11 and March 28. By March 28, that number was over 1.5 million. During that same period in 2020, the number fell from 1.7 million to 184,000, as the coronavirus shuttered much of the nation's economy.

Of course, that's lower than numbers in 2019, when the daily number of passengers fluctuated between 2.1 million and 2.6 million. Analysts are still encouraged by the numbers, though.

'We are within weeks of widespread reopening'

\"U.S. airline trends appear encouraging as the bookings recovery (early March through present) is the strongest it has been so far in the pandemic at 70-80% of 2019 levels,\" Raymond James Analyst Savanthi Syth told clients in her most recent note.

While U.S. domestic fares remain up to 20% lower than comparable fares in 2019, Syth pointed out that the average round-trip U.S. domestic fares for May to August have increased.

\"We believe JetBlue(JBLU), Spirit(SAVE), and, to a lesser extent, United Airlines(UAL)have the most favorable near term fare trends and, thus, revenue recovery trends. Nonetheless, all U.S. airlines appear to be benefiting from a broad-based strengthening of fares into March,\" Syth said.

Meanwhile, Cowen airline analyst Helane Becker anticipates a sustained increase in travel starting Memorial Day weekend. \"With vaccines rolling out in the US, we believe we are within weeks of widespread reopening and an increase in travel,\" she said in a recent note.

Delta Airlines planes and a British Airways plane (2nd L) are pictured at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, on the day Delta CEO Ed Bastian told employees he was cutting 40% of capacity in the coming months, the largest in the airline's history, in addition to pursuing aid, in SeaTac, Washington, U.S. March 13, 2020. REUTERS/Jason RedmondMore

Airlines will start reporting their first quarter earnings next month with Delta Air Lines (DAL)kicking off the reports on April 15. At the JPMorgan Industrials Conference on March 29, Delta CEO Ed Bastian struck an optimistic tone.

“The real story for the quarter, you know, kicked in about five or six weeks ago when we started to see bookings pick up, and that coincided clearly with confidence in the marketplace, people starting to book their spring and summer plans,” the Delta CEO said.

Amid this confidence, airlines have begun expanding their flight schedules.United announced flights, starting in April, between New York and California as the airline launches new routes from JFK International Airport.

For its part, American Airlines(AAL)has expanded its flights to South America and said last weekit's already paid off a $550 million loanit received last year from the U.S. government to get through the worst of the coronavirus pandemic. The airline received the loan as part of the coronavirus aid package known as the CARES Act.

“This prepayment is a shining example of the importance of the CARES Act,” American CEO Doug Parker said in a statement. “Our industry was in danger of shutting down one year ago when the CARES Act was passed. They're going to have to grow back, but they're going to get through this,\" he toldYahoo Finance Live, while cautioning that passengers may still be wary of traveling to locked-down locations.\"They've been afraid to get to New York City and find out it's under quarantine, or LA is shut down, or things like that. During that same period in 2020, the number fell from 1.7 million to 184,000, as the coronavirus shuttered much of the nation's economy.Of course, that's lower than numbers in 2019, when the daily number of passengers fluctuated between 2.1 million and 2.6 million. Analysts are still encouraged by the numbers, though.'We are within weeks of widespread reopening'\"U.S. airline trends appear encouraging as the bookings recovery (early March through present) is the strongest it has been so far in the pandemic at 70-80% of 2019 levels,\" Raymond James Analyst Savanthi Syth told clients in her most recent note. While U.S. domestic fares remain up to 20% lower than comparable fares in 2019, Syth pointed out that the average round-trip U.S. domestic fares for May to August have increased.\"We believe JetBlue(JBLU), Spirit(SAVE), and, to a lesser extent, United Airlines(UAL)have the most favorable near term fare trends and, thus, revenue recovery trends. Nonetheless, all U.S. airlines appear to be benefiting from a broad-based strengthening of fares into March,\" Syth said.Meanwhile, Cowen airline analyst Helane Becker anticipates a sustained increase in travel starting Memorial Day weekend. \"With vaccines rolling out in the US, we believe we are within weeks of widespread reopening and an increase in travel,\" she said in a recent note.Delta Airlines planes and a British Airways plane (2nd L) are pictured at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, on the day Delta CEO Ed Bastian told employees he was cutting 40% of capacity in the coming months, the largest in the airline's history, in addition to pursuing aid, in SeaTac, Washington, U.S. March 13, 2020. REUTERS/Jason RedmondMoreAirlines will start reporting their first quarter earnings next month with Delta Air Lines (DAL)kicking off the reports on April 15. At the JPMorgan Industrials Conference on March 29, Delta CEO Ed Bastian struck an optimistic tone.“The real story for the quarter, you know, kicked in about five or six weeks ago when we started to see bookings pick up, and that coincided clearly with confidence in the marketplace, people starting to book their spring and summer plans,” the Delta CEO said.Amid this confidence, airlines have begun expanding their flight schedules.United announced flights, starting in April, between New York and California as the airline launches new routes from JFK International Airport. For its part, American Airlines(AAL)has expanded its flights to South America and said last weekit's already paid off a $550 million loanit received last year from the U.S. government to get through the worst of the coronavirus pandemic. The airline received the loan as part of the coronavirus aid package known as the CARES Act.“This prepayment is a shining example of the importance of the CARES Act,” American CEO Doug Parker said in a statement. “Our industry was in danger of shutting down one year ago when the CARES Act was passed. This important legislation, including the $25 billion secured lending program for airlines, demonstrated that our leaders understood the challenges facing our economy, and their quick action stabilized our industry and kept our workforce intact.\"Southwest(LUV), managing an upturn in demand, made news Monday when itannounced plans to buy 100 Boeing 737 Maxjetliners with options to purchase an additional 155 737 Max aircraft over the next 10 years. And of course we’re ushering in earnings season which could be a catalyst for market moves over the next few weeks.”The first-quarter earnings reporting season begins this week, with expectations set for broadly positive news and an uptrend for U.S. equities thanks to a recovering economy. Many of the nation’s largest banks, including Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase will this week report results for the three months ended March 31.This week is also packed with Federal Reserve speeches and key economic data including a hotly anticipated inflation readingTuesday, when the U.S. consumer price index is released. Biden, who with other Democrats promised significant an infrastructure overhaul in the 2020 elections, wil lmeet with a bipartisan group of lawmakers on Monday to try to persuade Capitol Hill to back the $2 trillion package.Congress will return to Washington this week and be in session for the first time since Biden debuted his proposal, which earmarks hundreds of billions of dollars for roads, bridges, airports, broadband, electric vehicles, housing and job training. The president’s plan would also increase the corporate tax rate to 28% and crack down on other overseas tax avoidance strategies.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":335,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":328251582,"gmtCreate":1615533948846,"gmtModify":1703490546388,"author":{"id":"3562077406337898","authorId":"3562077406337898","name":"52b8d7b","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3562077406337898","authorIdStr":"3562077406337898"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like my comments","listText":"Like my comments","text":"Like my comments","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/328251582","repostId":"1199156489","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1199156489","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1615452861,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1199156489?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-03-11 16:54","market":"us","language":"en","title":"US Daylight Saving Time","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1199156489","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"From 02:00 U.S. East time March 14(this Sunday),the North America region entered daylight saving tim","content":"
From 02:00 U.S. East time March 14(this Sunday),the North America region entered daylight saving time, until 02:00 U.S. East time ends on November 7,2021.

So,starting on Monday,March 14,the U.S. market will open and close one hour ahead of schedule during north american daylight saving time,i.e.,U.S. trading time will be changed to 21:30 beijing time to 04:00 a.m.the next day,pre-trade time will be 16:00 to 21:30,after-trade time will be 04:00 to 8:00.

What is daylight saving time?

The DST is the practice of moving clocks forward by one hour during summer months so that daylight lasts longer into evening. I was a skeptic for a long time but that didn’t stop me from trading it bullishly. I could not see how it fit in the migration from traditional to streaming models.
\n
Regardless as to how, management proved me wrong. The fundamental metrics now are undeniable bullish.
\n
In the last four years, they quadrupled revenues. They now have more than $100 million of positive net income after years of losses. That point is important because the company is not young and ran red too long.
\n
But finally the media delivery environment swung their way. Last year, the swarm demand for streaming from the pandemic made for a perfect storm.
\n
From here, hopefully they can build on the momentum and follow the digitization trend deep. This is a big world so the potential is borderless to a degree. I still don’t quite get why I would need a Roku, so I am not their target audience. In our household we “cut the cord” a while back. But we use our phones and tablets to consume our media without Roku.
\n
ROKU Stock Is in Better Shape Now
\n
Recognizing the improvements is important because the long-term thesis changed for me. This is a streaming stock with no weak asterisks anymore.
\n
Being profitable does not mean that ROKU stock is now cheap. Experts could point to price-to-earnings ratio to call it expensive. They’d be wrong because for an aggressively growing company P/E is a bad metric. Companies cannot deliver impressive growth on a budget.
\n
The better gauge to use is the price-to-sales, and at 22 it is reasonable. This is in line with Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) and cheaper than Zoom (NASDAQ:ZM) to use two other growers. ROKU P/S is triple Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) and quadruple that of Disney (NYSE:DIS). Nevertheless it is not a flagrant reason to sell it. The amount of hope that its investors have in it now is high. But it is not in the clouds so high to drive a crash.
\n
ROKU stock rallied 740% from the pandemic crash. Then it corrected 44% and now is somewhere in the middle. The altitude is a bit alarming still 90% above last summer’s breakout. This concern is more serious since the markets are also near all-time highs.
\n
Last week Federal Reserve “taper” fears resurfaced and could be a drag on the all equities. Regardless of how good this story is, it will need the markets to remain strong.
\n
There Is Risk Below
\n
Source: Charts by TradingView
\n
If the overall malaise continues, ROKU could fall 30% from here and not change a thing. First, there would be a strong effort to hold the $280 zone. If that fails it would then trigger the rest of the dip. There is a way to profit from this potential now using options. This is also a way to get bullish the stock but leave room for error.
\n
An investor can sell the January 2022 ROKU $220 put to be bullish the stock. This trade would not even need a rally to win. In fact, the stock can fall almost 40% and they can still break even. If the stock falls below $220 then they could own the shares there.
\n
Big moves in stocks usually come from dislocations between reality and expectations. I don’t think there is such a scenario here. It’s a momentum stock but not teetering on disaster. I was a skeptic for a long time but that didn’t stop me from trading it bullishly. I could not see how it fit in the migration from traditional to streaming models.\nRegardless as to how, management proved me wrong. The fundamental metrics now are undeniable bullish.\nIn the last four years, they quadrupled revenues. They now have more than $100 million of positive net income after years of losses. That point is important because the company is not young and ran red too long.\nBut finally the media delivery environment swung their way. Last year, the swarm demand for streaming from the pandemic made for a perfect storm.\nFrom here, hopefully they can build on the momentum and follow the digitization trend deep. This is a big world so the potential is borderless to a degree. I still don’t quite get why I would need a Roku, so I am not their target audience. In our household we “cut the cord” a while back. But we use our phones and tablets to consume our media without Roku.\nROKU Stock Is in Better Shape Now\nRecognizing the improvements is important because the long-term thesis changed for me. This is a streaming stock with no weak asterisks anymore.\nBeing profitable does not mean that ROKU stock is now cheap. Experts could point to price-to-earnings ratio to call it expensive. They’d be wrong because for an aggressively growing company P/E is a bad metric. Companies cannot deliver impressive growth on a budget.\nThe better gauge to use is the price-to-sales, and at 22 it is reasonable. This is in line with Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) and cheaper than Zoom (NASDAQ:ZM) to use two other growers. ROKU P/S is triple Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) and quadruple that of Disney (NYSE:DIS). Nevertheless it is not a flagrant reason to sell it. The amount of hope that its investors have in it now is high. But it is not in the clouds so high to drive a crash.\nROKU stock rallied 740% from the pandemic crash. Then it corrected 44% and now is somewhere in the middle. The altitude is a bit alarming still 90% above last summer’s breakout. This concern is more serious since the markets are also near all-time highs.\nLast week Federal Reserve “taper” fears resurfaced and could be a drag on the all equities. Regardless of how good this story is, it will need the markets to remain strong.\nThere Is Risk Below\nSource: Charts by TradingView\nIf the overall malaise continues, ROKU could fall 30% from here and not change a thing. First, there would be a strong effort to hold the $280 zone. If that fails it would then trigger the rest of the dip. There is a way to profit from this potential now using options. This is also a way to get bullish the stock but leave room for error.\nAn investor can sell the January 2022 ROKU $220 put to be bullish the stock. This trade would not even need a rally to win. In fact, the stock can fall almost 40% and they can still break even. If the stock falls below $220 then they could own the shares there.\nBig moves in stocks usually come from dislocations between reality and expectations. I don’t think there is such a scenario here. It’s a momentum stock but not teetering on disaster. I would not go as far as calling it a bargain but value became less of a threat.\nEarlier I admitted that I was ignorant on one front but did not commit the mistake of shorting it. Back then I knew that my bearish bias was a mere opinion with low conviction. In fact I wrote about upside opportunities when I saw some coming.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":436,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
