formerGoldman Sachspartner, CNBC confirmed Saturday.\nThe company is in talks on a deal withNextGen Acquisition II, a person familiar with the discussions told CNBC. NextGen II is a special purpose acquisition company led by George Mattson, who previously co-led Goldman’s global industrials group.\nSky News first reportedthe talks on Saturday, saying a deal is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Virgin Orbit declined CNBC’s request for comment.\nThe company is a spin-off of Branson’s space tourism company Virgin Galactic.Virgin Orbit isprivately heldby Branson’s multinational conglomerate Virgin Group, with a minority stake from Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala.\nVirgin Orbit uses a modified Boeing 747 aircraft to launch its rockets, a method known as air launch. Rather than launch rockets from the ground, like competitors such as Rocket Lab or Astra, the company’s aircraft carries its LauncherOne rockets up to about 45,000 feet altitude and drops them just before they fire the engine and accelerate into space –a method the company touts as more flexiblethan a ground-based system.\nLauncherOne is designed to carry small satellites that weigh up to 500 kilograms, or about 1,100 pounds, into space. Virgin Orbit completed its first successful launch in January, and plans to conduct its second later this month.\nNext Gen II raised $375 million when it completed its initial public offering in October. The funds would largely go to help Virgin Orbit scale its business. Virgin Orbit CEO Dan Hart told CNBC in October that the company was seeking to raise about $150 million in fresh capital.\nBranson took Virgin Galactic publicthrough a SPAC deal in 2019withbillionaire investor Chamath Palihapitiya.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"SPCE":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":695,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":189575704,"gmtCreate":1623283658108,"gmtModify":1634035051921,"author":{"id":"3573871885683843","authorId":"3573871885683843","name":"justinjuice","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3573871885683843","authorIdStr":"3573871885683843"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Looks rich","listText":"Looks rich","text":"Looks rich","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/189575704","repostId":"2142938243","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":668,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":114700269,"gmtCreate":1623102377251,"gmtModify":1631885485278,"author":{"id":"3573871885683843","authorId":"3573871885683843","name":"justinjuice","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3573871885683843","authorIdStr":"3573871885683843"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Time to spend some money","listText":"Time to spend some money","text":"Time to spend some money","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/114700269","repostId":"1187003503","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1197,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":138488258,"gmtCreate":1621954030374,"gmtModify":1634185169520,"author":{"id":"3573871885683843","authorId":"3573871885683843","name":"justinjuice","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3573871885683843","authorIdStr":"3573871885683843"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Dint think this is easy","listText":"Dint think this is easy","text":"Dint think this is easy","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/138488258","repostId":"1124239903","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1124239903","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1621953892,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1124239903?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-25 22:44","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Can Penn National Rise to the Top of the Gambling Industry?","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1124239903","media":"investing","summary":"The price of shares of Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ:PENN) is expected to gain significantly as peopl","content":"
The price of shares of Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ:PENN) is expected to gain significantly as people return to live sports betting as life returns to normal with the faster-than-expected success of the COVID-19 vaccination drive in the United States. The stock has gained 163.9% over the past year and 9.4% over the past six months.A substantial uptick in player visitation and spend-per-visit has helped the company to improve its profit margin significantly. Also, responsible reopening efforts amid a ramped-up vaccine roll out in the United States and pent-up demand for gaming should keep driving the company’s performance in the near term.Because PENN remains focused on achieving top-three gaming revenue market share for Barstool Sportsbook, we believe it is well-positioned to soar.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"PENN":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1147,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":138078445,"gmtCreate":1621903111687,"gmtModify":1634185684083,"author":{"id":"3573871885683843","authorId":"3573871885683843","name":"justinjuice","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3573871885683843","authorIdStr":"3573871885683843"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Not sure if it is true","listText":"Not sure if it is true","text":"Not sure if it is true","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/138078445","repostId":"1152901176","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1439,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":138071652,"gmtCreate":1621903057076,"gmtModify":1634185685145,"author":{"id":"3573871885683843","authorId":"3573871885683843","name":"justinjuice","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3573871885683843","authorIdStr":"3573871885683843"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Buy oxy","listText":"Buy oxy","text":"Buy oxy","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/138071652","repostId":"1145456924","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1145456924","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1621902681,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1145456924?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-25 08:31","market":"us","language":"en","title":"\"The Fed Has Lost Control\" - John Williams Warns Of Hyperinflation In 2022","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1145456924","media":"zerohedge","summary":"Economist John Williams, founder of ShadowStats.com, says theFederal Reserve has painted itself into","content":"
Economist John Williams, founder of ShadowStats.com, says theFederal Reserve has painted itself into such a tight cornerwith the economy it really has only two choices.Williams says it comes down to “Inflation or Implosion.”
\n
What would happen to the financial system if the Fed stopped printing massive amounts of money for stimulus and debt service?
