What That Means for the Stock.","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1169827391","media":"Barrons","summary":"Stock in Amazon.com has barely budged since the e-commerce and cloud- computing giant reported stell","content":"
Stock in Amazon.com has barely budged since the e-commerce and cloud- computing giant reported stellar fourth-quarter results that were overshadowed by the news that CEO Jeff Bezos will shift into the role of executive chairman, with Amazon Web Services chief Andy Jassy taking over the top slot.
\n
The combination of that pending change, along with uncertainty over how the reopening of the economy will affect shopping behavior, has some investors a little uneasy about the stock’s near-term prospects.
\n
They will get a fresh look at the situation after the close of trading on Thursday, when Amazon (ticker: AMZN) posts its results for the March quarter. Amazon has told investors to expect revenue of $100 billion to $106 billion, with operating income of between $3 billion and $6.5 billion, and about $2 billion in costs related to Covid-19. The Wall Street consensus calls for revenue of $104.5 billion, with profits of $9.54 a share.
\n
The Street also clearly expects the quarter’s results to show continued strength in e-commerce. According to FactSet, Wall Street analysts expect online-stores revenue of $51.5 billion, up 41% from a year ago, with third-party sales of $21.7 billion, up 50%. Subscription revenues are expected to be $7.3 billion, up 32%, while revenue from physical stores is expected to be $4.3 billion, down 8%. AWS revenues are projected at $13.2 billion, up 29%.
\n
One open question is what forecasts the company will make for the June quarter as parts of the country begin to return to more normal economic activity. The Street is projecting June quarter revenue of $108.7 billion and profits of $10.81 a share.
\n
In an earnings preview note, Truist analyst Youssef Squali reiterated a Buy rating on the stock and a target of $3,750 for the share price. The stock closed Tuesday at $3,417.43, up 4.9% year to date.
\n
He expects revenue to come in at the high end of the range Amazon predicted, saying e-commerce demand has remained strong both in the U.S. and internationally, given that the pandemic has been slow to subside. Conversations with people in the industry and strong earning disclosed last week by Snap bode well for Amazon’s ad business, which is lumped into a category called “other,” he wrote. Amazon has told investors to expect revenue of $100 billion to $106 billion, with operating income of between $3 billion and $6.5 billion, and about $2 billion in costs related to Covid-19. The Wall Street consensus calls for revenue of $104.5 billion, with profits of $9.54 a share.\nThe Street also clearly expects the quarter’s results to show continued strength in e-commerce. AWS revenues are projected at $13.2 billion, up 29%.\nOne open question is what forecasts the company will make for the June quarter as parts of the country begin to return to more normal economic activity. The Street is projecting June quarter revenue of $108.7 billion and profits of $10.81 a share.\nIn an earnings preview note, Truist analyst Youssef Squali reiterated a Buy rating on the stock and a target of $3,750 for the share price. The stock closed Tuesday at $3,417.43, up 4.9% year to date.\nHe expects revenue to come in at the high end of the range Amazon predicted, saying e-commerce demand has remained strong both in the U.S. and internationally, given that the pandemic has been slow to subside. Conversations with people in the industry and strong earning disclosed last week by Snap bode well for Amazon’s ad business, which is lumped into a category called “other,” he wrote. He also thinks the market continues to underestimate the long-term growth potential of the dominance of the company’s two key businesses—e-commerce and AWS—as well as the company’s “emerging leadership in online advertising.”\nStifel analyst Scott Devitt is similarly bullish, repeating a Buy rating and $4,000 target price. He sees 40% top-line growth, a little ahead of the Street consensus. “The focus on the report will largely center on the outlook as Amazon laps the difficult prior year compares from the onset of the pandemic,” he wrote in a research note.\n“Growth in a post-Covid environment remains largely uncertain for Amazon and across the e-commerce landscape,” Devitt said. “Our [June quarter] revenue estimates are ahead of consensus as we see tailwinds stemming from strong growth in new Prime members and diversification across geographies and categories supporting the retail business as economies recover.” He also said AWS and the ad business are well positioned for a recovery.\nWedbush analyst Michael Pachter likewise maintained an Outperform rating and $4,000 target. He thinks the company will post more revenue and operating income than it had forecast, an outperformance resulting from market-share gains in e-commerce. \n“We believe that a more stable economy, continued imposition of shelter-in-place orders in many of Amazon’s markets, continued expansion into the very large grocery segment, and outstanding execution likely drove strong results in Q1,” he said. “In addition, Amazon Pharmacy (launched February 2) represents a U.S. [addressable market] of around $600 billion, so any market share gains could provide further upside.”","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMZN":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1927,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":372789703,"gmtCreate":1619242919202,"gmtModify":1631886368710,"author":{"id":"3574287669250540","authorId":"3574287669250540","name":"DrKool","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7ae233e76ded82fbc3e48c1d96ae08a6","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574287669250540","authorIdStr":"3574287669250540"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Color Star Technology Co. (Microsoft Corp.)
\n
If you are thinking about buying shares of Microsoft Corp., or already own them, you need to understand key metrics and issues related to the company.
\n
The numbers, below, show how Microsoft $(MSFT)$ stacks up against competitors, and where its strengths and weaknesses lie. Keep in mind that no two companies are alike -- even rivals don't compete in every space. Investors need to do their own research to make informed long-term decisions.
\n
Key dynamics
\n
Since Satya Nadella took over as CEO in February 2014 and dramatically changed the direction of this software giant co-founded by Bill Gates, Microsoft has become a key player in cloud computing. That move has paid off handsomely for investors. The stock is up 680% since then, including dividends, more than four times that of the S&P 500 Index .
\n
There may be more outperformance ahead for the stock because growth remains so robust, despite the size of this company. Microsoft has a $1.9 trillion market capitalization. Often companies of this size have a hard time posting fast growth simply because they are so large. Yet this 46-year-old software company put up 16.7% sales growth in the fourth quarter.
\n
Microsoft's server products and cloud offerings, a $41.4 billion business last year, grew 25.8% in the fourth quarter. The hottest product line is Azure cloud services. Customers like Azure because it helps them become more productive and competitive. So, they will continue to join up, and expand their usage once they sign on.
\n
\"We are witnessing the dawn of a second wave of digital transformation sweeping every company and every industry,\" Nadella has said.
\n
Already at $29 billion a year, Azure sales are growing 50% annually, estimates Goldman Sachs analyst Kash Rangan. (Microsoft does not break out the numbers or offer projections for Azure.) Microsoft also offers artificial intelligence software; Microsoft Office suite products like Word, XL and Outlook; popular video-game hardware; the LinkedIn professional networking site; and, of course, Windows. You can see that four of those business lines are growing at 10% or more, but Windows and search are sluggish.
\n
(COMPANY FILING)
\n
Geographic reach
\n
Microsoft does half its business outside the U.S. This is good for investors because during times of robust, synchronized global growth like we see now, emerging economies tend to grow much faster than the U.S.
\n
\"We are investing to bring our cloud services to more customers announcing seven new data center regions in Asia, Europe and Latin America,\" Nadella has announced.
\n
A vulnerability is that a stronger dollar would hurt Microsoft, since this would reduce the value of foreign earnings as they get exchanged for greenbacks.
\n
(COMPANY FILING)
\n
Profitability
\n
Overall, Microsoft isn't growing as fast as many of its competitors. But the popularity of its cloud products and services supports superior profit margins. For investors, this makes up for the relatively slower sales growth.
\n
\"Microsoft has pulled ahead of the pack with a state-of-the-art cloud platform,\" says J.P. Morgan analyst Mark Murphy.
\n
(FACTSET)
\n
Cash and cash flow
\n
Companies with lots of cash and solid cash flow have an edge because this helps them avoid the need to rely on banks for dilutive capital raises. It puts them in control of their own destinies. Microsoft uses its cash to buy back stock and pay a 0.87% dividend yield. But it's also tapping the $132 billion cash hoard to grow through acquisitions.
\n
For example, Microsoft recently announced the purchase of Nuance Communications, which gives Microsoft solid inroads into the health-care sector. Nuance offers artificial intelligence $(AI)$ used in the sector to analyze conversations and help providers communicate with patients.
\n
The risk is that Microsoft might make bad acquisitions and squander cash, which might otherwise have been better used by returning it to shareholders. As examples, Microsoft blundered in its purchases of Nokia's mobile-phone business and the digital-marketing-services company aQuantive. This is why many investors prefer that companies simply return cash to shareholders via dividends and buybacks, rather than risk wasting it.
\n
(FACTSET)
\n
Moat
\n
Investing great Warren Buffett loves companies with protective moats. Moats create pricing power and make it hard for competitors to win over customers. Microsoft enjoys a wide moat for the following reasons, says Dan Romanoff at Morningstar, which, like Buffett, puts a big emphasis on moats when analyzing companies.
\n
First, a lot of Microsoft business software requires a fairly steep learning curve, so customers get locked into products. Besides, swapping out software is disruptive to a business. This creates switching costs. Next, Microsoft products and services benefit from network effects. As more people use Azure, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn and so forth, these offerings become more valuable to everyone because they connect more people together. (Microsoft Corp.)\nIf you are thinking about buying shares of Microsoft Corp., or already own them, you need to understand key metrics and issues related to the company.\nThe numbers, below, show how Microsoft $(MSFT)$ stacks up against competitors, and where its strengths and weaknesses lie. Keep in mind that no two companies are alike -- even rivals don't compete in every space. Investors need to do their own research to make informed long-term decisions.\nKey dynamics\nSince Satya Nadella took over as CEO in February 2014 and dramatically changed the direction of this software giant co-founded by Bill Gates, Microsoft has become a key player in cloud computing. That move has paid off handsomely for investors. The stock is up 680% since then, including dividends, more than four times that of the S&P 500 Index .\nThere may be more outperformance ahead for the stock because growth remains so robust, despite the size of this company. Microsoft has a $1.9 trillion market capitalization. Often companies of this size have a hard time posting fast growth simply because they are so large. Yet this 46-year-old software company put up 16.7% sales growth in the fourth quarter.\nMicrosoft's server products and cloud offerings, a $41.4 billion business last year, grew 25.8% in the fourth quarter. The hottest product line is Azure cloud services. Customers like Azure because it helps them become more productive and competitive. So, they will continue to join up, and expand their usage once they sign on.\n\"We are witnessing the dawn of a second wave of digital transformation sweeping every company and every industry,\" Nadella has said.\nAlready at $29 billion a year, Azure sales are growing 50% annually, estimates Goldman Sachs analyst Kash Rangan. (Microsoft does not break out the numbers or offer projections for Azure.) Microsoft also offers artificial intelligence software; Microsoft Office suite products like Word, XL and Outlook; popular video-game hardware; the LinkedIn professional networking site; and, of course, Windows. You can see that four of those business lines are growing at 10% or more, but Windows and search are sluggish.\n(COMPANY FILING)\nGeographic reach\nMicrosoft does half its business outside the U.S. This is good for investors because during times of robust, synchronized global growth like we see now, emerging economies tend to grow much faster than the U.S.\n\"We are investing to bring our cloud services to more customers announcing seven new data center regions in Asia, Europe and Latin America,\" Nadella has announced.\nA vulnerability is that a stronger dollar would hurt Microsoft, since this would reduce the value of foreign earnings as they get exchanged for greenbacks.\n(COMPANY FILING)\nProfitability\nOverall, Microsoft isn't growing as fast as many of its competitors. But the popularity of its cloud products and services supports superior profit margins. For investors, this makes up for the relatively slower sales growth.\n\"Microsoft has pulled ahead of the pack with a state-of-the-art cloud platform,\" says J.P. Morgan analyst Mark Murphy.\n(FACTSET)\nCash and cash flow\nCompanies with lots of cash and solid cash flow have an edge because this helps them avoid the need to rely on banks for dilutive capital raises. It puts them in control of their own destinies. Microsoft uses its cash to buy back stock and pay a 0.87% dividend yield. But it's also tapping the $132 billion cash hoard to grow through acquisitions.\nFor example, Microsoft recently announced the purchase of Nuance Communications, which gives Microsoft solid inroads into the health-care sector. Nuance offers artificial intelligence $(AI)$ used in the sector to analyze conversations and help providers communicate with patients.\nThe risk is that Microsoft might make bad acquisitions and squander cash, which might otherwise have been better used by returning it to shareholders. As examples, Microsoft blundered in its purchases of Nokia's mobile-phone business and the digital-marketing-services company aQuantive. This is why many investors prefer that companies simply return cash to shareholders via dividends and buybacks, rather than risk wasting it.\n(FACTSET)\nMoat\nInvesting great Warren Buffett loves companies with protective moats. Moats create pricing power and make it hard for competitors to win over customers. Microsoft enjoys a wide moat for the following reasons, says Dan Romanoff at Morningstar, which, like Buffett, puts a big emphasis on moats when analyzing companies.\nFirst, a lot of Microsoft business software requires a fairly steep learning curve, so customers get locked into products. Besides, swapping out software is disruptive to a business. This creates switching costs. Next, Microsoft products and services benefit from network effects. As more people use Azure, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn and so forth, these offerings become more valuable to everyone because they connect more people together. Network effects create value for customers, discouraging them from jumping ship.\nStock valuation and performance\nMicrosoft stock has outperformed the shares of several competitors over the past five years, but it still has a relatively low price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio compared to them. Keep in mind that relatively new companies like CrowdStrike $(CRWD)$ can have deceptively high P/E ratios because they are still reinvesting a lot into their own businesses, diverting cash away from earnings per share.\n\nWall Street's opinion\nHere's a summary of opinion among Wall Street analysts polled by FactSet:\n(FACTSET)\nImportant dates\n\nApril 27 — Microsoft reports first-quarter earnings.\nMay 19 — Ex-dividend date.\nJuly 20 — Microsoft reports second-quarter earnings.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"MSFT":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1591,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":372105994,"gmtCreate":1619184080018,"gmtModify":1634287936967,"author":{"id":"3574287669250540","authorId":"3574287669250540","name":"DrKool","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7ae233e76ded82fbc3e48c1d96ae08a6","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574287669250540","authorIdStr":"3574287669250540"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great innovators of the Nasdaq Composite, but a closer look at the Dow Jones Industrial Average is a good reminder that the cyclical trade is what’s moving markets in 2021 — and why that matters.
\n
That idea comes from an analysis from DataTrek Research, published Thursday. Co-founder Jessica Rabe notes that just six of the Dow’s 30 holdings are responsible for its year-to-date gains. As of the close of business Wednesday and adjusted for rounding, they are:
\n

\n
What does the performance of what Rabe calls “old school, mostly ‘industrial’” stocks tell us? “They all continue to reflect confidence in reopening trades and a steepening yield curve. As of the close of business Wednesday and adjusted for rounding, they are:\n\nWhat does the performance of what Rabe calls “old school, mostly ‘industrial’” stocks tell us? “They all continue to reflect confidence in reopening trades and a steepening yield curve.
He also thinks the market continues to underestimate the long-term growth potential of the dominance of the company’s two key businesses—e-commerce and AWS—as well as the company’s “emerging leadership in online advertising.”
\n
Stifel analyst Scott Devitt is similarly bullish, repeating a Buy rating and $4,000 target price. He sees 40% top-line growth, a little ahead of the Street consensus. “The focus on the report will largely center on the outlook as Amazon laps the difficult prior year compares from the onset of the pandemic,” he wrote in a research note.
\n
“Growth in a post-Covid environment remains largely uncertain for Amazon and across the e-commerce landscape,” Devitt said. “Our [June quarter] revenue estimates are ahead of consensus as we see tailwinds stemming from strong growth in new Prime members and diversification across geographies and categories supporting the retail business as economies recover.” He also said AWS and the ad business are well positioned for a recovery.
\n
Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter likewise maintained an Outperform rating and $4,000 target. He thinks the company will post more revenue and operating income than it had forecast, an outperformance resulting from market-share gains in e-commerce.
\n
“We believe that a more stable economy, continued imposition of shelter-in-place orders in many of Amazon’s markets, continued expansion into the very large grocery segment, and outstanding execution likely drove strong results in Q1,” he said. “In addition, Amazon Pharmacy (launched February 2) represents a U.S. [addressable market] of around $600 billion, so any market share gains could provide further upside.”
","source":"lsy1601382232898","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Amazon Earnings Will Be Fantastic. [addressable market] of around $600 billion, so any market share gains could provide further upside.”","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMZN":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1927,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":372780757,"gmtCreate":1619242780879,"gmtModify":1631886213394,"author":{"id":"3574287669250540","authorId":"3574287669250540","name":"DrKool","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7ae233e76ded82fbc3e48c1d96ae08a6","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574287669250540","authorIdStr":"3574287669250540"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$ChargePoint Holdings Inc.(CHPT)$buy when u think is right ","listText":"$ChargePoint Holdings Inc.(CHPT)$buy when u think is right ","text":"$ChargePoint Holdings Inc.(CHPT)$buy when u think is right","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/861027d55e9561399713ddd615f40605","width":"1080","height":"1920"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/372780757","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1685,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":378722511,"gmtCreate":1619063392533,"gmtModify":1634288821341,"author":{"id":"3574287669250540","authorId":"3574287669250540","name":"DrKool","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7ae233e76ded82fbc3e48c1d96ae08a6","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574287669250540","authorIdStr":"3574287669250540"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"I think is a long term problem","listText":"I think is a long term problem","text":"I think is a long term problem","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/378722511","repostId":"1182192793","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":482,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":109852052,"gmtCreate":1619685092076,"gmtModify":1634210735830,"author":{"id":"3574287669250540","authorId":"3574287669250540","name":"DrKool","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7ae233e76ded82fbc3e48c1d96ae08a6","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574287669250540","authorIdStr":"3574287669250540"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Woah","listText":"Woah","text":"Woah","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/109852052","repostId":"1160342426","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1160342426","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1619684574,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1160342426?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-04-29 16:22","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Nokia rose nearly 16% in premarket trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1160342426","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Nokia rose nearly 16% in premarket trading, and its net sales in the first quarter exceeded market e","content":"
Nokia rose nearly 16% in premarket trading, and its net sales in the first quarter exceeded market expectations.

Nokia EPS beats by $0.06, beats on revenue

Nokia(NYSE:NOK): Q1 Non-GAAP EPS of €0.07beats by €0.06; But they watched moresports.
\n
In the first quarter of 2021, we had a Super Bowl and March Madness — two huge sporting events after a near 12-month lull in sports outside of the NBA playing in bubble in Florida.
\n
Roku is a beneficiary of this, because you can stream sports through Roku’s platform. You cannot do that on Netflix.
\n
Indeed, Roku said that viewership on its platform of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament jumped 75% from the last tournament, which was held in 2019 (the NCAA called off the 2020 tournament due to Covid-19).
\n
SimilarWeb data does show that Roku monthly active user base actually rose in the first quarter of 2021, whereas Netflix’s monthly active user base dropped.
\n
This difference means Roku’s earnings could look a lot better than Netflix’s earnings.
\n
\n
ROKU Stock Price Forecast
\n
\n
We believe ROKU stock is fundamentally undervalued.
\n
Long-term, this a company that is creating a software ecosystem which will one day turn into the digital “cable box” of the streaming TV world, serving as a central access point for consumers into all of their favorite streaming services.
\n
The company will earn a lot of high-margin revenue from revenue-sharing agreements with streaming service providers, and ad sales through both its platform and ad-supported streaming channel.
\n
Competition is muted by the fact that consumers like simplicity and consistency. Roku has designed the simplest, most intuitive interface in the streaming world, and owns most of the market, meaning consumers are used to the Roku UI and want to see it everywhere.
\n
Given the company’s tremendous long-term growth potential, our modeling suggests ROKU stock is worth at least $450 today.
\n
\n
ROKU stock is a great play on the fact that the world is pivoting from linear TV to streaming TV. This pivot encompasses Netflix, Roku,Disney(NYSE:DIS),AT&T(NYSE:T), and so many more. By the end of the decade, everything we watch will be through the internet. Cable boxes will be as obsolete as CD players are today.
\n
Netflix stock is the blue-chip stock to buy to play this streaming revolution. Roku stock is a higher-upside but still relatively safe bet. However, these stocks do not represent the highest upside picks in this space.
\n
Instead, the highest upside picks in the streaming TV revolution — stocks that could soar 10X in value over the next decade — are lesser-known streaming companies that have an opportunity to turn into household ubiquities like Netflix one day.
\n
Buying those stocks today, could be like buying Netflix stock a decade ago.
","source":"lsy1606302653667","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; But they watched moresports.\nIn the first quarter of 2021, we had a Super Bowl and March Madness — two huge sporting events after a near 12-month lull in sports outside of the NBA playing in bubble in Florida.\nRoku is a beneficiary of this, because you can stream sports through Roku’s platform. You cannot do that on Netflix.\nIndeed, Roku said that viewership on its platform of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament jumped 75% from the last tournament, which was held in 2019 (the NCAA called off the 2020 tournament due to Covid-19).\nSimilarWeb data does show that Roku monthly active user base actually rose in the first quarter of 2021, whereas Netflix’s monthly active user base dropped.\nThis difference means Roku’s earnings could look a lot better than Netflix’s earnings.\n\nROKU Stock Price Forecast\n\nWe believe ROKU stock is fundamentally undervalued.\nLong-term, this a company that is creating a software ecosystem which will one day turn into the digital “cable box” of the streaming TV world, serving as a central access point for consumers into all of their favorite streaming services.\nThe company will earn a lot of high-margin revenue from revenue-sharing agreements with streaming service providers, and ad sales through both its platform and ad-supported streaming channel.\nCompetition is muted by the fact that consumers like simplicity and consistency. Roku has designed the simplest, most intuitive interface in the streaming world, and owns most of the market, meaning consumers are used to the Roku UI and want to see it everywhere.\nGiven the company’s tremendous long-term growth potential, our modeling suggests ROKU stock is worth at least $450 today.\n\nROKU stock is a great play on the fact that the world is pivoting from linear TV to streaming TV. This pivot encompasses Netflix, Roku,Disney(NYSE:DIS),AT&T(NYSE:T), and so many more. By the end of the decade, everything we watch will be through the internet. Cable boxes will be as obsolete as CD players are today.\nNetflix stock is the blue-chip stock to buy to play this streaming revolution. Roku stock is a higher-upside but still relatively safe bet. However, these stocks do not represent the highest upside picks in this space.\nInstead, the highest upside picks in the streaming TV revolution — stocks that could soar 10X in value over the next decade — are lesser-known streaming companies that have an opportunity to turn into household ubiquities like Netflix one day.\nBuying those stocks today, could be like buying Netflix stock a decade ago.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"ROKU":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":467,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":371705304,"gmtCreate":1618969366908,"gmtModify":1634289527812,"author":{"id":"3574287669250540","authorId":"3574287669250540","name":"DrKool","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7ae233e76ded82fbc3e48c1d96ae08a6","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574287669250540","authorIdStr":"3574287669250540"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[微笑] ","listText":"[微笑] ","text":"[微笑]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/371705304","repostId":"1150754217","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1150754217","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1618968321,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1150754217?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-04-21 09:25","market":"hk","language":"en","title":"Hong Kong: Shares fell at Wednesday's open","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1150754217","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"(April 21) Hong Kong stocks fell sharply at the open on Wednesday as US equities fell further from t","content":"
(April 21) Hong Kong stocks fell sharply at the open on Wednesday as US equities fell further from their record highs overnight.

The Hang Seng Index fell 1.45 per cent or 433.46 points to 28,702.27.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.48 per cent or 16.64 points to 3,456.30, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange slumped 0.61 per cent or 13.93 points to 2,658.75.

A gauge of stock prices across the world was on track on Tuesday for its largest daily drop since early March as concern lingered over rising global COVID-19 cases, while oil prices also fell.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; (Microsoft Corp.)
Keep in mind that relatively new companies like CrowdStrike $(CRWD)$ can have deceptively high P/E ratios because they are still reinvesting a lot into their own businesses, diverting cash away from earnings per share.\n\nWall Street's opinion\nHere's a summary of opinion among Wall Street analysts polled by FactSet:\n(FACTSET)\nImportant dates\n\nApril 27 — Microsoft reports first-quarter earnings.\nMay 19 — Ex-dividend date.\nJuly 20 — Microsoft reports second-quarter earnings.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"MSFT":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1591,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":372386702,"gmtCreate":1619178450606,"gmtModify":1634287976025,"author":{"id":"3574287669250540","authorId":"3574287669250540","name":"DrKool","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7ae233e76ded82fbc3e48c1d96ae08a6","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574287669250540","authorIdStr":"3574287669250540"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great","listText":"Great","text":"Great","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/372386702","repostId":"1114772124","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":320,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":850284660,"gmtCreate":1634602500212,"gmtModify":1634602500364,"author":{"id":"3574287669250540","authorId":"3574287669250540","name":"DrKool","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7ae233e76ded82fbc3e48c1d96ae08a6","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574287669250540","authorIdStr":"3574287669250540"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"<a innovators of the Nasdaq Composite, but a closer look at the Dow Jones Industrial Average is a good reminder that the cyclical trade is what’s moving markets in 2021 — and why that matters.
