It's a problem. Let's turn that into an opportunity.
\n
There are stocks out there that are fashion-forward enough to be wearing exactly what folks will be looking to try on the next time the market tumbles. Cheap and resilient, Camping World Holdings(NYSE:CWH) and Peloton Interactive(NASDAQ:PTON)are good looks for investors with $2,000 to put to work in the market in crash-ready stocks.
\n
Camping World
\n
You might think that big-ticket recreational vehicles (RVs) are a scary place to be when the next market crash comes along, but there's a lot to like when it comes to Camping World. The country's leading retailer of RVs and related essentials is rolling along as a cheap stock with a juicy yield and a lot of blue highways to conquer.
\n
The RV industry in general and Camping World in particular took off last year when the pandemic took its toll on the way we work and travel. The COVID-19 crisis led to most of us working and learning from home, and many homebodies decided to retire early. With traditional getaways also initially on hold an RV became the easy way to travel the country safely.
\n
Unlike some pandemic plays that are seeing their fortunes reversed, Camping World is still growing even now as we claw our way out of the pandemic. Earlier this month it posted strong financial results. Revenue rose 14% to top $1.9 billion for the third quarter, as selling prices on new and particularly used RVs move higher. Margins expanded to the point where net income climbed 22% higher.
\n
Camping World also boosted its guidance, something it has been doing on a quarterly basis. It has beaten Wall Street profit targets with ease over the past few quarters, and analysts can't keep up despite jacking up their forecasts. Camping World is now trading for less than seven times what Wall Street pros expect it to earn. They see modest single-digit growth for 2022, but we've seen analysts get burned before by being too conservative.
\n
Camping World is sharing the wealth. It doubled its quarterly dividend over the summer, and is now yielding 4.5%. It has also sprinkled in a couple of special distributions to send even more money to its shareholders along the way. The market will inevitably buckle at some point, and when that happens Camping World should be better suited to weather the storm with its chunky yield and low valuation.
\n
Peloton
\n
Camping World has thrived by getting us to explore the great outdoors, but now let's tackle a stock that has gotten slammed by keeping us indoors. Peloton was a market darling during the early stages of the pandemic. Sourdough starters got us feeling doughy, and with local spinning classes and fitness centers shuttered we turned to Peloton for interactive high-end workouts on stationary bikes and treadmills.
\n
The stock has been losing some serious weight this year. It has shed a brutal 74% since peaking in January as of Monday's close. A markdown from those lofty levels was warranted. Peloton had a reputation-smacking recall of treadmills after some awful mishaps.
\n
November has been rough. Wall Street's been slashing its price targets on the stock after another rough quarter with rising churn and sinking guidance. It's a problem. Let's turn that into an opportunity.\nThere are stocks out there that are fashion-forward enough to be wearing exactly what folks will be looking to try on the next time the market tumbles. Cheap and resilient, Camping World Holdings(NYSE:CWH) and Peloton Interactive(NASDAQ:PTON)are good looks for investors with $2,000 to put to work in the market in crash-ready stocks.\nCamping World\nYou might think that big-ticket recreational vehicles (RVs) are a scary place to be when the next market crash comes along, but there's a lot to like when it comes to Camping World. The country's leading retailer of RVs and related essentials is rolling along as a cheap stock with a juicy yield and a lot of blue highways to conquer.\nThe RV industry in general and Camping World in particular took off last year when the pandemic took its toll on the way we work and travel. The COVID-19 crisis led to most of us working and learning from home, and many homebodies decided to retire early. With traditional getaways also initially on hold an RV became the easy way to travel the country safely.\nUnlike some pandemic plays that are seeing their fortunes reversed, Camping World is still growing even now as we claw our way out of the pandemic. Earlier this month it posted strong financial results. Revenue rose 14% to top $1.9 billion for the third quarter, as selling prices on new and particularly used RVs move higher. Margins expanded to the point where net income climbed 22% higher.\nCamping World also boosted its guidance, something it has been doing on a quarterly basis. It has beaten Wall Street profit targets with ease over the past few quarters, and analysts can't keep up despite jacking up their forecasts. Camping World is now trading for less than seven times what Wall Street pros expect it to earn. They see modest single-digit growth for 2022, but we've seen analysts get burned before by being too conservative.\nCamping World is sharing the wealth. It doubled its quarterly dividend over the summer, and is now yielding 4.5%. It has also sprinkled in a couple of special distributions to send even more money to its shareholders along the way. The market will inevitably buckle at some point, and when that happens Camping World should be better suited to weather the storm with its chunky yield and low valuation.\nPeloton\nCamping World has thrived by getting us to explore the great outdoors, but now let's tackle a stock that has gotten slammed by keeping us indoors. Peloton was a market darling during the early stages of the pandemic. Sourdough starters got us feeling doughy, and with local spinning classes and fitness centers shuttered we turned to Peloton for interactive high-end workouts on stationary bikes and treadmills.\nThe stock has been losing some serious weight this year. It has shed a brutal 74% since peaking in January as of Monday's close. A markdown from those lofty levels was warranted. Peloton had a reputation-smacking recall of treadmills after some awful mishaps.\nNovember has been rough. Wall Street's been slashing its price targets on the stock after another rough quarter with rising churn and sinking guidance. The near-term challenges are real, but most people don't make four-figure investments in home fitness only to cancel their premium subscriptions. Peloton's sticking around, and a recent $1 billion stock offering will make sure that it won't have any financial limitations when it's ready to turn the corner. Peloton stock already crashed, now it's just waiting for contrarians to show up for a workout.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"CWH":0.9,"PTON":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2066,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":872620157,"gmtCreate":1637508243254,"gmtModify":1637508243353,"author":{"id":"3576413612990488","authorId":"3576413612990488","name":"你在说","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/5c04d27f54fc32a1ba5e987eec14bfc1","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576413612990488","authorIdStr":"3576413612990488"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/872620157","repostId":"871484840","repostType":1,"repost":{"id":871484840,"gmtCreate":1637106098260,"gmtModify":1637242850984,"author":{"id":"3574968450404111","authorId":"3574968450404111","name":"B.God","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8fba96cdefc2640a0413c00996aed28d","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574968450404111","authorIdStr":"3574968450404111"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$BlackBerry(BB)$\"Stock market is a device totransfer wealth from the impatient to the patient\". Fool","summary":"Despite overwhelming strength in semiconductor stocks this year, Cohu still presents great value.","content":"
Semiconductor shortages have dominated headlines in the business world this year. Manufacturers of consumer goods across the globe are struggling to meet their production targets because they can't get their hands on enough computer chips.
\n
New cars are one enormous source of demand for semiconductors, especially with the growth of electric vehicles, and dealer lots are currently running on a fraction of the inventory they need to meet demand.
\n
The issue has pushed consumers into the used car market, sending prices soaring 24.4% on average over the last 12 months. But semiconductor-service powerhouse Cohu (NASDAQ:COHU) is helping to alleviate these supply pressures, and it just delivered another big quarterly result. Here's how.
\n
Automotive chips continue driving Cohu forward
\n
Cohu provides testing and handling equipment to the world's largest semiconductor producers, assisting in the manufacture of computer chips for a range of applications including consumer electronics, mobility, and even the automotive market.
\n
That segment has grown to become the company's largest, accounting for 20% of total revenue in the third quarter just announced, up from 18% in the second quarter. It highlights persistent demand from semiconductor producers that need to expand manufacturing capacity in preparation for a future consisting of smarter, more feature-heavy vehicles.
\n
But it also displays Cohu's clever strategic focus, pivoting its attention to where it's needed most right now, which is helping producers clear order backlogs and relieve shortages.
\n
Its Neon inspection and high-speed handling systems are designed to rapidly inspect computer chips as small as 0.2 millimeters by 0.4 millimeters, which are often used in automotive applications. These fragile components require delicate yet fast handling, so defects can be detected in efficient time frames so as not to hold up the production process.
\n
Cohu's portfolio of automotive-related semiconductor equipment also extends to real-world-style environmental testing to ensure chips can withstand the stresses of everyday use. It also offers the capability to test and handle chips for new technologies like autonomous driving and broad electrification, which should play a significant role in the future of the automotive industry.
\n
Strong third-quarter results
\n
Cohu delivered 49% year-over-year revenue growth and 159% year-over-year earnings per share growth in the third quarter. Its $0.70 in third-quarter EPS adds to what is expected to be the company's first profitable year since 2017, after spending several years investing in the business.
\n
Overall, as the end of the year approaches, 2021 financial results are set to crush what Cohu delivered in 2020.
\n
\n
\n
\n

Metric

\n

2020

\n

2021 (Estimate)

\n

Growth

\n
\n
\n
\n
\n

Revenue

\n

$636 million

\n

$902 million

\n

41%

\n
\n
\n

EPS (Loss)

\n

($0.33)

\n

$3.05

\n

N/A

\n
\n
\n
\n
Data source: Cohu, Yahoo! Finance.
\n
The company's 41% estimated revenue growth would more than quadruple the 9% it generated in 2020 (when compared to 2019).
\n
Cohu is so comfortable with its financial position right now that it just announced a $70 million share buyback program to return money to shareholders. It's not something investors would typically see from a relatively small $1.5 billion growth company, but it's an added benefit to the 47% rise in share price over the last 12 months.
\n
Why you should buy the stock
\n
When it comes to semiconductor stocks, many of them have experienced red-hot share price growth lately as investors price in higher profits from rising demand and low supply. Regardless, Cohu remains incredibly cheap compared to its peers.
\n
The iShares Semiconductor ETF trades at a price-to-earnings multiple of 33, compared to a multiple of less than 11 for Cohu based on $3.05 in 2021 EPS. That means the stock would need to triple to align with the broader industry on a valuation basis.
\n
Analysts expect Cohu to be just as profitable in 2022, so investors shouldn't be concerned that 2021 was a one-off result following a few years of losses. It aligns with the broader sentiment among car manufacturers, which suggests semiconductor shortages will persist well into the new year. That will only mean one thing: Demand for Cohu's testing and handling equipment is likely to remain elevated.
\n
Cohu's strong third quarter is just another piece in its overwhelmingly positive story. Wall Street is certainly on board, with one firm predicting the stock will more than double from here.
","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
1 Red-Hot Semiconductor Stock That Just Crushed Earnings
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n1 Red-Hot Semiconductor Stock That Just Crushed Earnings\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-11-03 11:38 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Semiconductor shortages have dominated headlines in the business world this year. Its $0.70 in third-quarter EPS adds to what is expected to be the company's first profitable year since 2017, after spending several years investing in the business.\nOverall, as the end of the year approaches, 2021 financial results are set to crush what Cohu delivered in 2020.\n\n\n\nMetric\n2020\n2021 (Estimate)\nGrowth\n\n\n\n\nRevenue\n$636 million\n$902 million\n41%\n\n\nEPS (Loss)\n($0.33)\n$3.05\nN/A\n\n\n\nData source: Cohu, Yahoo! Finance.\nThe company's 41% estimated revenue growth would more than quadruple the 9% it generated in 2020 (when compared to 2019).\nCohu is so comfortable with its financial position right now that it just announced a $70 million share buyback program to return money to shareholders. It's not something investors would typically see from a relatively small $1.5 billion growth company, but it's an added benefit to the 47% rise in share price over the last 12 months.\nWhy you should buy the stock\nWhen it comes to semiconductor stocks, many of them have experienced red-hot share price growth lately as investors price in higher profits from rising demand and low supply. Regardless, Cohu remains incredibly cheap compared to its peers.\nThe iShares Semiconductor ETF trades at a price-to-earnings multiple of 33, compared to a multiple of less than 11 for Cohu based on $3.05 in 2021 EPS. That means the stock would need to triple to align with the broader industry on a valuation basis.\nAnalysts expect Cohu to be just as profitable in 2022, so investors shouldn't be concerned that 2021 was a one-off result following a few years of losses. It aligns with the broader sentiment among car manufacturers, which suggests semiconductor shortages will persist well into the new year. That will only mean one thing: Demand for Cohu's testing and handling equipment is likely to remain elevated.\nCohu's strong third quarter is just another piece in its overwhelmingly positive story. Wall Street is certainly on board, with one firm predicting the stock will more than double from here.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"COHU":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1719,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":849758720,"gmtCreate":1635778845713,"gmtModify":1635778845713,"author":{"id":"3576413612990488","authorId":"3576413612990488","name":"你在说","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/5c04d27f54fc32a1ba5e987eec14bfc1","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576413612990488","authorIdStr":"3576413612990488"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"<a Manufacturers of consumer goods across the globe are struggling to meet their production targets because they can't get their hands on enough computer chips.
Manufacturers of consumer goods across the globe are struggling to meet their production targets because they can't get their hands on enough computer chips.\nNew cars are one enormous source of demand for semiconductors, especially with the growth of electric vehicles, and dealer lots are currently running on a fraction of the inventory they need to meet demand.\nThe issue has pushed consumers into the used car market, sending prices soaring 24.4% on average over the last 12 months. But semiconductor-service powerhouse Cohu (NASDAQ:COHU) is helping to alleviate these supply pressures, and it just delivered another big quarterly result. Here's how.\nAutomotive chips continue driving Cohu forward\nCohu provides testing and handling equipment to the world's largest semiconductor producers, assisting in the manufacture of computer chips for a range of applications including consumer electronics, mobility, and even the automotive market.\nThat segment has grown to become the company's largest, accounting for 20% of total revenue in the third quarter just announced, up from 18% in the second quarter. It highlights persistent demand from semiconductor producers that need to expand manufacturing capacity in preparation for a future consisting of smarter, more feature-heavy vehicles.\nBut it also displays Cohu's clever strategic focus, pivoting its attention to where it's needed most right now, which is helping producers clear order backlogs and relieve shortages.\nIts Neon inspection and high-speed handling systems are designed to rapidly inspect computer chips as small as 0.2 millimeters by 0.4 millimeters, which are often used in automotive applications. These fragile components require delicate yet fast handling, so defects can be detected in efficient time frames so as not to hold up the production process.\nCohu's portfolio of automotive-related semiconductor equipment also extends to real-world-style environmental testing to ensure chips can withstand the stresses of everyday use. It also offers the capability to test and handle chips for new technologies like autonomous driving and broad electrification, which should play a significant role in the future of the automotive industry.\nStrong third-quarter results\nCohu delivered 49% year-over-year revenue growth and 159% year-over-year earnings per share growth in the third quarter. Since bottoming out on March 23, 2020, the benchmark S&P 500 has doubled in value. It's the most robust bounce-back rally from a bear-market bottom Wall Street has ever seen.
\n
Yet, even with the broader market consistently nipping at new all-time highs, value can still be found. The not-so-subtle secret to building wealth in the market is patience. If you're buying stakes in great businesses and planning to hang onto those positions for multiple years, what might look pricey today could turn out to be an amazing value in three, five, or 10 years.
\n
You also don't need a boatload of money to begin or further your trek toward financial freedom. If you have $500 at the ready, which won't be needed to pay bills or cover an emergency, the following five no-brainer stocks would be perfect to invest in right now.
\n

\n
\n
Vertex Pharmaceuticals
\n
The first no-brainer buy that could make long-term investors richer is specialty biotech stock Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
\n
Vertex has lagged the broader market badly after two clinical treatments for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency were discontinued following mid-stage trials. But these two failures pale in comparison to the company's multiple successes in treating patients with cystic fibrosis (CF). CF has no cure, but Vertex's four generations of therapies have helped to improve lung function for those who have CF.
\n
The company's latest approved combination therapy, Trikafta, which treats the most common CF mutation, was approved five months ahead of its scheduled review date by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and brought in almost $3.9 billion in its first year on pharmacy shelves. In the June-ended quarter, Trikafta's sales topped $1.25 billion, implying a $5 billion annual run-rate. The key point being that Vertex's innovation in CF will protect its cash flow for a long time to come.
\n
Vertex also has close to one dozen other compounds in clinical development to go along with $6.71 billion in cash and cash equivalents. In other words, investors get innovation, steadily growing cash flow, and a huge cash buffer, with Vertex.
\n

\n
\n
Ping Identity
\n
One of the more surefire opportunities for investors right now can be found in the cybersecurity industry. No matter how well or poorly the U.S. economy and stock market are performing, robots and hackers don't take a day off. Cybersecurity has evolved into a basic-need service, which is great news for Ping Identity Holding.
\n
As its name gives away, Ping specializes in identity verification. The company's cloud-based Ping Intelligent Identity Platform integrates with legacy security solutions to create a safer environment for enterprises. Reliant on artificial intelligence, Ping's platform is designed to become more efficient over time at recognizing and responding to threats, compared to on-premises security solutions. In short, it's designed to go beyond the basic parameters of on-premises security software to also constantly monitor and authorize user access to critical company data.
\n
The big reason Ping Identity is such a value, compared to other high-flying cybersecurity stocks, is that some of its customers opted for short-term renewals during the pandemic in 2020. However, with the focused on promoting its higher-margin and nimbler software-as-a-service platform, which has grown sales at a compound annual rate of 44% since Q1 2020, it's only a matter of time before sales growth really picks up.
\n
As a cybersecurity stock that's profitable on a recurring basis, Ping look like a bargain at less than 8 times this year's forecasted sales.
\n

\n
\n
Square
\n
Fintech stock Square might look pricey now, but there's a good chance you'll be kicking yourself for not buying at this level come 2025 or 2030.
\n
Square's foundational segment has long been its seller ecosystem. This is the operating division that provides point-of-sale devices, loans, and analytics to help merchants succeed. In the seven years leading up to the pandemic, gross payment volume (GPV) traversing its platform grew by an annual average of 49%. This past quarter, seller ecosystem GPV hit a new record at $38.8 billion. What's particularly noteworthy about the seller ecosystem is that larger businesses (defined by Square as those with $125,000 or more in annualized GPV) accounted for 65% of GPV in the June-ended quarter, compared to 55% in Q2 2019. Bigger merchants mean more gross profit for Square.
\n
However, the company's future is unquestionably tied to the success of digital peer-to-peer payments platform Cash App. Cash App has consistently been the most-downloaded payments app in the U.S. for two years, and its monthly active user count more than quintupled to 36 million between the end of 2017 and the end of 2020. What's more, gross profit per Cash App user chimed in at $55 in Q2 2021, which is about 2.5 times what it was two years ago.
\n
The icing on the cake is Square's recently announced $29 billion acquisition of Australia's buy now, pay later specialist Afterpay. Though this deal might sound pricey, it'll perfectly integrate the company's seller ecosystem and Cash App.
\n

\n
\n
Cresco Labs
\n
U.S. marijuana stocks could also be one of the smartest long-term investments. With 36 states having legalized cannabis in some capacity, the sky's the limit for multistate operator (MSO) Cresco Labs Inc..
\n
Like virtually all multistate operators, Cresco has a budding retail presence. Closing its acquisition of Bluma Wellness during the second quarter, along with organic expansion, has pushed its operating dispensary count up to 33 (albeit the company holds close to four dozen retail licenses). Cresco has been targeting a number of high-dollar (Florida) and/or limited-license markets (Illinois and Ohio) with its retail expansion. The latter is important because states that limit their retail and cultivation license issuance are creating an environment where every licensed player has an opportunity to gobble up significant share.
\n
Yet, what's far more impressive about Cresco Labs is its industry-leading wholesale operations. Net wholesale revenue accounted for 52% of the company's $210 million in sales in the June-ended quarter. Wholesale often gets a bad rap for having lower margins than the retail side of the equation. Thankfully, Cresco can more than make up for this on the volume front. As a holder of a cannabis distribution license in California, Cresco Labs can place proprietary and third-party pot products into more than 575 dispensaries throughout the Golden State.
\n
Cresco Labs will likely be one of the fastest-growing pot stocks of the decade.
\n

\n
The 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty. Image source: Ford.
\n
Ford Motor Company
\n
A final no-brainer stock you can invest $500 in right now is Ford Motor Company. Chip shortage issues in the near-term, which have constrained the manufacturing capacity of auto stocks, presents the perfect opportunity to buy into Ford at a discount.
\n
The clearest catalyst for the company is the electrification of automobiles. In May, Ford announced that it was upping its spending on electric vehicles (EVs) to more than $30 billion through 2025. The plan is to launch 30 new EVs worldwide by mid-decade, and generate 40% of its unit sales from EVs by 2030. Considering the push by developed countries to combat climate change, EVs represent a multi-decade vehicle replacement opportunity at the consumer and commercial level that could significantly lift Ford's now-modest growth rate.
\n
While Ford's performance in the U.S. will remain in focus, it's the company's opportunity in China that could be even bigger. China is the world's leading auto market, and it's been estimated by the Society of Automotive Engineers of China that half of all vehicles sales could be powered by alternative energy by 2035. Given that China's EV market is nascent and Ford has the infrastructure in place to meet the country's production needs, it could quickly gobble up EV share.
\n
The icing on the cake is that Ford's F-Series pickups have been the best-selling vehicle in the U.S. for 39 consecutive years. Since bottoming out on March 23, 2020, the benchmark S&P 500 has doubled in value. It's the most robust bounce-back rally from a bear-market bottom Wall Street has ever seen.\nYet, even with the broader market consistently nipping at new all-time highs, value can still be found. The not-so-subtle secret to building wealth in the market is patience. If you're buying stakes in great businesses and planning to hang onto those positions for multiple years, what might look pricey today could turn out to be an amazing value in three, five, or 10 years.\nYou also don't need a boatload of money to begin or further your trek toward financial freedom. If you have $500 at the ready, which won't be needed to pay bills or cover an emergency, the following five no-brainer stocks would be perfect to invest in right now.\n\nImage source: Getty Images.\nVertex Pharmaceuticals\nThe first no-brainer buy that could make long-term investors richer is specialty biotech stock Vertex Pharmaceuticals.\nVertex has lagged the broader market badly after two clinical treatments for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency were discontinued following mid-stage trials. But these two failures pale in comparison to the company's multiple successes in treating patients with cystic fibrosis (CF). CF has no cure, but Vertex's four generations of therapies have helped to improve lung function for those who have CF.\nThe company's latest approved combination therapy, Trikafta, which treats the most common CF mutation, was approved five months ahead of its scheduled review date by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and brought in almost $3.9 billion in its first year on pharmacy shelves. In the June-ended quarter, Trikafta's sales topped $1.25 billion, implying a $5 billion annual run-rate. The key point being that Vertex's innovation in CF will protect its cash flow for a long time to come.\nVertex also has close to one dozen other compounds in clinical development to go along with $6.71 billion in cash and cash equivalents. In other words, investors get innovation, steadily growing cash flow, and a huge cash buffer, with Vertex.\n\nImage source: Getty Images.\nPing Identity\nOne of the more surefire opportunities for investors right now can be found in the cybersecurity industry. No matter how well or poorly the U.S. economy and stock market are performing, robots and hackers don't take a day off. Cybersecurity has evolved into a basic-need service, which is great news for Ping Identity Holding.\nAs its name gives away, Ping specializes in identity verification. In short, it's designed to go beyond the basic parameters of on-premises security software to also constantly monitor and authorize user access to critical company data.\nThe big reason Ping Identity is such a value, compared to other high-flying cybersecurity stocks, is that some of its customers opted for short-term renewals during the pandemic in 2020. However, with the focused on promoting its higher-margin and nimbler software-as-a-service platform, which has grown sales at a compound annual rate of 44% since Q1 2020, it's only a matter of time before sales growth really picks up.\nAs a cybersecurity stock that's profitable on a recurring basis, Ping look like a bargain at less than 8 times this year's forecasted sales.\n\nImage source: Square.\nSquare\nFintech stock Square might look pricey now, but there's a good chance you'll be kicking yourself for not buying at this level come 2025 or 2030.\nSquare's foundational segment has long been its seller ecosystem. Bigger merchants mean more gross profit for Square.\nHowever, the company's future is unquestionably tied to the success of digital peer-to-peer payments platform Cash App. Cash App has consistently been the most-downloaded payments app in the U.S. for two years, and its monthly active user count more than quintupled to 36 million between the end of 2017 and the end of 2020. What's more, gross profit per Cash App user chimed in at $55 in Q2 2021, which is about 2.5 times what it was two years ago.\nThe icing on the cake is Square's recently announced $29 billion acquisition of Australia's buy now, pay later specialist Afterpay. Though this deal might sound pricey, it'll perfectly integrate the company's seller ecosystem and Cash App.\n\nImage source: Getty Images.\nCresco Labs\nU.S. marijuana stocks could also be one of the smartest long-term investments. With 36 states having legalized cannabis in some capacity, the sky's the limit for multistate operator (MSO) Cresco Labs Inc..\nLike virtually all multistate operators, Cresco has a budding retail presence. The latter is important because states that limit their retail and cultivation license issuance are creating an environment where every licensed player has an opportunity to gobble up significant share.\nYet, what's far more impressive about Cresco Labs is its industry-leading wholesale operations. Net wholesale revenue accounted for 52% of the company's $210 million in sales in the June-ended quarter. Wholesale often gets a bad rap for having lower margins than the retail side of the equation. Thankfully, Cresco can more than make up for this on the volume front. As a holder of a cannabis distribution license in California, Cresco Labs can place proprietary and third-party pot products into more than 575 dispensaries throughout the Golden State.\nCresco Labs will likely be one of the fastest-growing pot stocks of the decade.\n\nThe 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty. Image source: Ford.\nFord Motor Company\nA final no-brainer stock you can invest $500 in right now is Ford Motor Company. Chip shortage issues in the near-term, which have constrained the manufacturing capacity of auto stocks, presents the perfect opportunity to buy into Ford at a discount.\nThe clearest catalyst for the company is the electrification of automobiles. In May, Ford announced that it was upping its spending on electric vehicles (EVs) to more than $30 billion through 2025. The plan is to launch 30 new EVs worldwide by mid-decade, and generate 40% of its unit sales from EVs by 2030. Considering the push by developed countries to combat climate change, EVs represent a multi-decade vehicle replacement opportunity at the consumer and commercial level that could significantly lift Ford's now-modest growth rate.\nWhile Ford's performance in the U.S. will remain in focus, it's the company's opportunity in China that could be even bigger. China is the world's leading auto market, and it's been estimated by the Society of Automotive Engineers of China that half of all vehicles sales could be powered by alternative energy by 2035. Given that China's EV market is nascent and Ford has the infrastructure in place to meet the country's production needs, it could quickly gobble up EV share.\nThe icing on the cake is that Ford's F-Series pickups have been the best-selling vehicle in the U.S. for 39 consecutive years. With its growth rate about to pick up, Ford is worth investing in.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"CRLBF":0.9,"F":0.9,"PING":0.9,"SQ":0.9,"VRTX":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":114,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":121823557,"gmtCreate":1624459209979,"gmtModify":1634005803577,"author":{"id":"3576413612990488","authorId":"3576413612990488","name":"你在说","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/5c04d27f54fc32a1ba5e987eec14bfc1","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576413612990488","authorIdStr":"3576413612990488"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"TSLA, way to go! 💪🏻","listText":"TSLA, way to go! 💪🏻","text":"TSLA, way to go! 💪🏻","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/121823557","repostId":"2145657710","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"2145657710","kind":"highlight","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"T-Reuters","id":"1086160438","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a113a995fbbc262262d15a5ce37e7bc5"},"pubTimestamp":1624390489,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2145657710?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-23 03:34","market":"hk","language":"en","title":"Lynn Miller, Former Deputy General Counsel At Tesla, Joins Executive Team Of Autonomous Trucking Technology Company Plus","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2145657710","media":"T-Reuters","summary":"June 22 (Reuters) - :Lynn Miller, Former Deputy General Counsel At Tesla, Joins Executive Team Of Au","content":"

June 22 (Reuters) - :Lynn Miller, Former Deputy General Counsel At Tesla, Joins Executive Team Of Autonomous Trucking Technology Company Plus.
\n
November has been rough. Wall Street's been slashing its price targets on the stock after another rough quarter with rising churn and sinking guidance. It's a problem. Let's turn that into an opportunity.\nThere are stocks out there that are fashion-forward enough to be wearing exactly what folks will be looking to try on the next time the market tumbles. Cheap and resilient, Camping World Holdings(NYSE:CWH) and Peloton Interactive(NASDAQ:PTON)are good looks for investors with $2,000 to put to work in the market in crash-ready stocks.\nCamping World\nYou might think that big-ticket recreational vehicles (RVs) are a scary place to be when the next market crash comes along, but there's a lot to like when it comes to Camping World. The country's leading retailer of RVs and related essentials is rolling along as a cheap stock with a juicy yield and a lot of blue highways to conquer.\nThe RV industry in general and Camping World in particular took off last year when the pandemic took its toll on the way we work and travel. The COVID-19 crisis led to most of us working and learning from home, and many homebodies decided to retire early. With traditional getaways also initially on hold an RV became the easy way to travel the country safely.\nUnlike some pandemic plays that are seeing their fortunes reversed, Camping World is still growing even now as we claw our way out of the pandemic. Earlier this month it posted strong financial results. Revenue rose 14% to top $1.9 billion for the third quarter, as selling prices on new and particularly used RVs move higher. Margins expanded to the point where net income climbed 22% higher.\nCamping World also boosted its guidance, something it has been doing on a quarterly basis. It has beaten Wall Street profit targets with ease over the past few quarters, and analysts can't keep up despite jacking up their forecasts. Camping World is now trading for less than seven times what Wall Street pros expect it to earn. They see modest single-digit growth for 2022, but we've seen analysts get burned before by being too conservative.\nCamping World is sharing the wealth. It doubled its quarterly dividend over the summer, and is now yielding 4.5%. It has also sprinkled in a couple of special distributions to send even more money to its shareholders along the way. The market will inevitably buckle at some point, and when that happens Camping World should be better suited to weather the storm with its chunky yield and low valuation.\nPeloton\nCamping World has thrived by getting us to explore the great outdoors, but now let's tackle a stock that has gotten slammed by keeping us indoors. Peloton was a market darling during the early stages of the pandemic. Sourdough starters got us feeling doughy, and with local spinning classes and fitness centers shuttered we turned to Peloton for interactive high-end workouts on stationary bikes and treadmills.\nThe stock has been losing some serious weight this year. It has shed a brutal 74% since peaking in January as of Monday's close. A markdown from those lofty levels was warranted. Peloton had a reputation-smacking recall of treadmills after some awful mishaps.\nNovember has been rough. Wall Street's been slashing its price targets on the stock after another rough quarter with rising churn and sinking guidance. The near-term challenges are real, but most people don't make four-figure investments in home fitness only to cancel their premium subscriptions. Peloton's sticking around, and a recent $1 billion stock offering will make sure that it won't have any financial limitations when it's ready to turn the corner. Peloton stock already crashed, now it's just waiting for contrarians to show up for a workout.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"CWH":0.9,"PTON":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2066,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
