href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/BRK.A\">伯克希尔)换点(腾讯控股),不等了。”

,"news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1216,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":607984432,"gmtCreate":1639474838165,"gmtModify":1639475361893,"author":{"id":"3576828470442075","authorId":"3576828470442075","name":"KL8388","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576828470442075","authorIdStr":"3576828470442075"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great","listText":"Great","text":"Great","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/607984432","repostId":"1182321442","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1126,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":606130157,"gmtCreate":1638841067587,"gmtModify":1638841227882,"author":{"id":"3576828470442075","authorId":"3576828470442075","name":"KL8388","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576828470442075","authorIdStr":"3576828470442075"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/606130157","repostId":"2186761399","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1691,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":609930560,"gmtCreate":1638230016094,"gmtModify":1638230016322,"author":{"id":"3576828470442075","authorId":"3576828470442075","name":"KL8388","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576828470442075","authorIdStr":"3576828470442075"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Hmm","listText":"Hmm","text":"Hmm","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/609930560","repostId":"2187306343","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":972,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":875745248,"gmtCreate":1637707328276,"gmtModify":1637707328385,"author":{"id":"3576828470442075","authorId":"3576828470442075","name":"KL8388","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576828470442075","authorIdStr":"3576828470442075"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/875745248","repostId":"1154780241","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1154780241","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing Space","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1123914498","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"Over the longer term, PYPL stock is well-positioned to outperform the Nasdfaq","content":"
PayPal’s(NASDAQ:PYPL) huge first-mover advantages, its high profits, its large cash pile, and its demonstrated ability to move quickly to exploit opportunities put it way above the other well-known fintech names. Additionally, the valuation of PYPL stock is quite reasonable, especially in comparison with that of the other top fintech companies.
\n
All in all, I believe that the company’s shares are very well-positioned to outperform the Nasdaq over the next six months to two years, while its risk-reward ratio is very attractive.
\n
First-Mover Advantages
\n
When it comes to the world of fintech for consumers, PayPal has a big lead over its competitors. Addressing a JPMorgan(NYSE:JPM) conference on Sept. 23, PayPal CEO Dan Schulman reported that 400 million+ consumers were using its platform, and that “5 billion transactions plus a quarter” are being carried out on PayPal.
\n
On its own, the company’s new “buy now, pay later feature” generated total payment volume of $1.5 billion in the second quarter, Schulman estimated, with ” 7 million-plus consumers using it over 20 million times {in Q2}.”
\n
On the merchant side, PayPal has 32 million customers. PayPal’s total payments volume in 2021 will be ” somewhere around 1.25 trillion plus,” representing a surge of 500%-600% versus 2015, the CEO stated.
\n
Those metrics appear to be heads-and-shoulders over PayPal’s competitors. For example, Zelle, the banking app in which thousands of banks, including JPMorgan,Citi(NYSE:C) and Wells Fargo(NYSE:WFC) participate, had 1.2 billion of transactions worth $307 billion in all of 2020.
\n
So PayPal is enabling more than four times the number of transactions each quarter than Zelle facilitated in all of last year. And PayPal’s total payments volume is expected to be roughly 400% higher this year than Zelle’s was in 2020.
\n
As of the end of Q2, SoFi had “nearly 79 million” accounts, versus PayPal’s 400 million+ users. In Q2, the total origination volume of SoFi’s Lending unit was slightly under $3 billion, representing an annualized rate of $12 billion. Conversely, Schulman, as I mentioned earlier, estimated that PayPal’s total payment volume this year will be about $1.25 trillion.
\n
Even Square’s(NYSE:SQ) quarterly gross payment volume is slightly over $40 billion, putting it at an annual rate of slightly under $170 billion.
\n
High Profits, Ample Cash, and Very Agile
\n
PayPal’s operating income came in at $1.13 billion,up from $998 million during the same period a year earlier. Its EBITDA climbed to an impressive $1.44 billion, up from $1.295 billion versus the year-earlier period. So its profitability is high and climbing.
\n
Conversely, Square’s operating income was $170.3 million in Q2, and its EBITDA was $198.,7 million. Meanwhile,SoFi(NASDAQ:SOFI) loses a significant amount of money each quarter.
\n
PayPal had $12.39 billion of cash at the end of Q2, versus $5.6 billion for Square and $462 million for SoFi.
\n
PayPal’s large cash hoard, combined with Schulman’s obvious belief in making big, quick moves, have enabled the fintech company to quickly take advantage of emerging trends. F
\n
or example, the company has already launched, without making an acquisition, a “Buy Now,Pay Later” offering to take advantage of that trend. Incidentally,InvestorPlace Senior Investment Analyst Luke Lango calls Buy Now,Pay Later “the hottest hypergrowth industry in the world right now.” I wouldn’t go that far, but it certainly is a hot trend. Given PayPal’s huge user base and its relatively early entrance into the sector, the company is very well-positioned to exploit the trend.
\n
What’s more, the company recently acquired Japanese fintech player Paidy, which has 6 million users and more than 700,000 merchants in the Asian country. Paidy, which is also already offering Buy Now, Pay Later, is very well-positioned in Japan because it “has connections into all of the convenience stores where people… pay cash and then they can complete the online transaction,” Schulman explained. He believes that Paidy is poised to grow a great deal in its home market.
\n
Valuation and the Bottom Line on PYPL Stock
\n
Trading with a forward price-earnings ratio of 41, the shares aren’t extremely expensive, considering that the company is a rapidly growing, innovative tech company.
\n
Given PayPal’s many positive attributes, its huge potential, and its reasonable valuation, all types of investors should look to buy PYPL stock.
","source":"lsy1606302653667","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Why PayPal Is the Best Stock to Buy in the Fintech Space
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nWhy PayPal Is the Best Stock to Buy in the Fintech Space\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-10-29 11:40 GMT+8 InvestorPlace\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
PayPal’s(NASDAQ:PYPL) huge first-mover advantages, its high profits, its large cash pile, and its demonstrated ability to move quickly to exploit opportunities put it way above the other well-known ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"PYPL":"PayPal"},"source_url":"https://investorplace.com/2021/10/why-paypal-is-the-best-stock-to-buy-in-the-fintech-space/","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1123914498","content_text":"PayPal’s(NASDAQ:PYPL) huge first-mover advantages, its high profits, its large cash pile, and its demonstrated ability to move quickly to exploit opportunities put it way above the other well-known fintech names. Among the company’s clientele are government entities of the highest order – including none other than the U.S. Army.\nJust recently, the company revealed that the U.S. Army’s Program Manager for Intelligence Systems and Analytics selected Palantir for a critically important task.\nSpecifically, Palantir will deliver the Army’s intelligence data fabric and analytics foundation for the Capability Drop 2 (CD-2) program.\nWe’re talking about high-level security – and a high dollar figure, as well.\nReportedly, Palantir was selected to progress to the next phase of the Army’s indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, valued at a whopping $823 million.\nCD-2 is actually one of multiple efforts that Palantir is working on with the Program Executive Officer for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors to help modernize the Army’s intelligence enterprise.\nOther such efforts include the Capability Drop 1 (CD-1) and the Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node (TITAN) programs.\nThe Takeaway\nIt should only be a matter of time before Wall Street is ready to move PLTR stock higher.\nFor now, though, the market is testing the investors’ patience and belief in Palantir.\nYet, there’s no shortage of data to demonstrate Palantir’s rapid growth and ability to strike deals with clients at the highest levels.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":501,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":856286459,"gmtCreate":1635183316113,"gmtModify":1635183316322,"author":{"id":"3576828470442075","authorId":"3576828470442075","name":"KL8388","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576828470442075","authorIdStr":"3576828470442075"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"To the moon","listText":"To the moon","text":"To the moon","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/856286459","repostId":"1124896858","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1124896858","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1635173369,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1124896858?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-10-25 22:49","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Bloom Surged more than 30% on $4.5 Billion Fuel-Cell Deal with SK Group","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1124896858","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Bloom Energy Corp. surged the most in 15 months after the maker of hydrogen fuel cells agreed to pro","content":"
Bloom Energy Corp. surged the most in 15 months after the maker of hydrogen fuel cells agreed to provide $4.5 billion of equipment and services to the South Korean conglomerate SK Group.
\n
Bloom gained as much as 35% to $27.29 Monday, the most intraday since July 2020.
\n

\n
SK’s Eco plant unit will buy at least 500 megawatts of Bloom’s systems and is planning an equity investment of about $500 million, San Jose-based Bloom said Monday in a statement. That’s more storage but the same starting price as before. It has a redesign featuring new, flatter design language, like the iPhone 12. It has smaller bezels with no fingerprint sensor on the front and comes in several colors, including purple.
\n
The TouchID sensor has been built into the top button, which turns the screen on and off. It uses an USB-C connector, instead of Apple’s proprietary Lightning connector. It can support a 5G wireless connection. It works with Apple’s stylus, the second-generation Pencil.
\n
It starts at $499 and hits stores next week, Apple said.
\n

\n
Apple announces new Apple Watch Series 7
\n
Apple’s next product reveal will be the Apple Watch models, Cook said. The Opportunity in Its Stock Is Far More Clear.","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1179203616","media":"Barrons","summary":"Palantir Technologies is one of the world’s quirkiest tech companies, and last week the story got we","content":"
Palantir Technologies is one of the world’s quirkiest tech companies, and last week the story got weirder than ever. But beneath the surface, there’s an oddly compelling case for the business and the stock.
\n
Palantir (ticker: PLTR) provides data analytics software to both commercial and government clients. The 18-year-old company has two primary platforms—Gotham, for government applications, and Foundry, for commercial customers. Palantir has a long history of serving U.S. military and intelligence agencies, but lately it’s been building out its sales team to bulk up its commercial business. That plan seems to be getting traction.
\n
Palantir went public in a direct listing last September, with the stock opening at $10. It’s since taken shareholders on a wild ride, trading as high as $45 earlier this year. It’s now around $25, still up 150% from listing day.
\n
In its recently reported June quarter, Palantir posted revenue of $376 million, up 49% from the year-earlier level. The company got a big boost from its U.S. commercial business, which grew 90%. Palantir sees September quarter revenue inching up to $385 million, and it continues to forecast annual top-line growth of 30%-plus through 2025.
\n
But the core story gets lost in the noise—Palantir seems to thrive on controversy. Almost everything it does is outside the box. Before last year’s stock listing, Palantir quietly moved its headquarters to Denver from Palo Alto. The reasoning boils down to politics.
\n
“When we started the company in 2004, the idea was to bring world-class software to our intelligence and military communities,” Palantir CEO Alex Karp told me in a June interview. “Numerous companies in Silicon Valley have refused either overtly, tacitly, or by dragging their feet, to work with the U.S. government. … I believe in general there’s a choice to be made in the world, and America has serious, rigorous, intelligent, and sometimes ruthless adversaries.”
\n
Palantir has also been doing unusual things with the $2.4 billion in cash on its balance sheet. The company is aggressively investing in PIPEs, or private investments in public equities, which are used in almost every SPAC merger to increase the capital raised. Palantir has committed $310 million across more than a dozen SPACs, or special purpose acquisition companies, according to its latest SEC filing. It’s completed $33 million of equity investments across three other companies.
\n

\n
The most recent tranche includes $20 million for Fast Radius, which offers a “cloud manufacturing platform;” $15 million for Tritium, a developer of electric vehicle chargers; $15 million for AdTheorent, which sells advertising software driven by machine learning; and $10 million for FinAccel, an Asian financial-services company.
\n
All the targets have signed up to be Palantir customers. As of June 30, Palantir said it had commercial contracts with its SPAC portfolio companies with a potential value of $428 million; the revenue contribution in the latest quarter was just $3 million, or less than 1% of the total.
\n
SPACs are a highly speculative place for a public company to be parking its cash. But I’d argue that Palantir’s decision to provide capital to new customers isn’t so different from offering vendor debt financing for hardware purchases—as IBM(IBM) and HP Enterprise (HPE) do—or from running robust venture capital programs, as do Intel(INTC) and Salesforce.com(CRM).
\n
Even so, it makes some analysts squeamish. “While we don’t oppose thinking outside the box, we think the strategy may have been taken too far, particularly with software contracts that appear to be negotiated alongside an investment by Palantir in the same customer,” Citi’s Tyler Radke wrote in a recent research note.
\n
The outside-the-box strategy goes beyond SPACs. This past week, Palantir disclosed that it had purchased $50.7 million worth of 100-ounce gold bars—a pretty strange move, even for Palantir. I ran a text search in the SEC’s database looking for references to gold bars, and found only references to other gold companies. The move makes Tesla’s(TSLA) Bitcoin purchases seem mundane.
\n
The fact that Palantir decided to buy physical gold, rather than, say, the SPDR Gold Shares ETF (GLD), makes it odder still. Palatnir ends up looking like the corporate equivalent of a doomsday prepper. I tried to follow-up with Karp to ask about the sudden interest in gold, but Palantir declined to make him available.
\n
One analyst who follows the company told me that the SPAC program and the foray into gold make Palantir a hard sell for institutional investors. You can see that in the shareholder base. Institutions hold only 25% of Palantir shares—compared with Oracle’s(ORCL) 46%,Snowflake’s(SNOW) 58%, and Microsoft’s(MSFT) 71%.
\n
But the same analyst is still bullish on Palantir and says it offers “a very interesting set of solutions to buyers that require scale and sophistication.”
\n
Palantir has a fanatical following among individual investors, and the company is playing to its fans. During its June-quarter earnings call, Palantir took nine questions from retail investors and just four from analysts.
\n
On traditional metrics, Palantir isn’t cheap. But beneath the surface, there’s an oddly compelling case for the business and the stock.\nPalantir (ticker: PLTR) provides data analytics software to both commercial and government clients. The 18-year-old company has two primary platforms—Gotham, for government applications, and Foundry, for commercial customers. Palantir has a long history of serving U.S. military and intelligence agencies, but lately it’s been building out its sales team to bulk up its commercial business. That plan seems to be getting traction.\nPalantir went public in a direct listing last September, with the stock opening at $10. It’s since taken shareholders on a wild ride, trading as high as $45 earlier this year. It’s now around $25, still up 150% from listing day.\nIn its recently reported June quarter, Palantir posted revenue of $376 million, up 49% from the year-earlier level. The company got a big boost from its U.S. commercial business, which grew 90%. Palantir sees September quarter revenue inching up to $385 million, and it continues to forecast annual top-line growth of 30%-plus through 2025.\nBut the core story gets lost in the noise—Palantir seems to thrive on controversy. Almost everything it does is outside the box. Before last year’s stock listing, Palantir quietly moved its headquarters to Denver from Palo Alto. The reasoning boils down to politics.\n“When we started the company in 2004, the idea was to bring world-class software to our intelligence and military communities,” Palantir CEO Alex Karp told me in a June interview. “Numerous companies in Silicon Valley have refused either overtly, tacitly, or by dragging their feet, to work with the U.S. government. … I believe in general there’s a choice to be made in the world, and America has serious, rigorous, intelligent, and sometimes ruthless adversaries.”\nPalantir has also been doing unusual things with the $2.4 billion in cash on its balance sheet. The company is aggressively investing in PIPEs, or private investments in public equities, which are used in almost every SPAC merger to increase the capital raised. Palantir has committed $310 million across more than a dozen SPACs, or special purpose acquisition companies, according to its latest SEC filing. It’s completed $33 million of equity investments across three other companies.\n\nThe most recent tranche includes $20 million for Fast Radius, which offers a “cloud manufacturing platform;” $15 million for Tritium, a developer of electric vehicle chargers; $15 million for AdTheorent, which sells advertising software driven by machine learning; and $10 million for FinAccel, an Asian financial-services company.\nAll the targets have signed up to be Palantir customers. As of June 30, Palantir said it had commercial contracts with its SPAC portfolio companies with a potential value of $428 million; the revenue contribution in the latest quarter was just $3 million, or less than 1% of the total.\nSPACs are a highly speculative place for a public company to be parking its cash. But I’d argue that Palantir’s decision to provide capital to new customers isn’t so different from offering vendor debt financing for hardware purchases—as IBM(IBM) and HP Enterprise (HPE) do—or from running robust venture capital programs, as do Intel(INTC) and Salesforce.com(CRM).\nEven so, it makes some analysts squeamish. “While we don’t oppose thinking outside the box, we think the strategy may have been taken too far, particularly with software contracts that appear to be negotiated alongside an investment by Palantir in the same customer,” Citi’s Tyler Radke wrote in a recent research note.\nThe outside-the-box strategy goes beyond SPACs. This past week, Palantir disclosed that it had purchased $50.7 million worth of 100-ounce gold bars—a pretty strange move, even for Palantir. I ran a text search in the SEC’s database looking for references to gold bars, and found only references to other gold companies. The move makes Tesla’s(TSLA) Bitcoin purchases seem mundane.\nThe fact that Palantir decided to buy physical gold, rather than, say, the SPDR Gold Shares ETF (GLD), makes it odder still. Palatnir ends up looking like the corporate equivalent of a doomsday prepper. I tried to follow-up with Karp to ask about the sudden interest in gold, but Palantir declined to make him available.\nOne analyst who follows the company told me that the SPAC program and the foray into gold make Palantir a hard sell for institutional investors. You can see that in the shareholder base. Institutions hold only 25% of Palantir shares—compared with Oracle’s(ORCL) 46%,Snowflake’s(SNOW) 58%, and Microsoft’s(MSFT) 71%.\nBut the same analyst is still bullish on Palantir and says it offers “a very interesting set of solutions to buyers that require scale and sophistication.”\nPalantir has a fanatical following among individual investors, and the company is playing to its fans. During its June-quarter earnings call, Palantir took nine questions from retail investors and just four from analysts.\nOn traditional metrics, Palantir isn’t cheap. The stock trades for 25 times estimated 2022 sales. But strip away the craziness, and Palantir looks like the single best bet on the future of complex data analytics. There aren’t many other ways for investors to play the opportunity—and the world isn’t getting any simpler or less dangerous.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":248,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":840190866,"gmtCreate":1635601529111,"gmtModify":1635601529214,"author":{"id":"3576828470442075","authorId":"3576828470442075","name":"KL8388","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576828470442075","authorIdStr":"3576828470442075"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"No wonder","listText":"No wonder","text":"No wonder","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/840190866","repostId":"2179122834","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":547,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":867519112,"gmtCreate":1633299588681,"gmtModify":1633299588857,"author":{"id":"3576828470442075","authorId":"3576828470442075","name":"KL8388","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576828470442075","authorIdStr":"3576828470442075"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"OK","listText":"OK","text":"OK","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/867519112","repostId":"1195986801","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1195986801","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1633237941,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1195986801?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-10-03 13:12","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why Tesla's Q3 Numbers Are 'Eye Popping' and Hard to Poke Holes In","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1195986801","media":"Benzinga","summary":"Tesla, Inc. reported Saturday record quarterly deliveries despite the surrounding turbulence.
