POINTS\n\nThailand’s IPO market appears “on track” for a record year in 2021, Dealogic’s Ken Fong told CNBC.\nCovid-19 has ravaged through much of Southeast Asia as their respective governments struggle to obtain sufficient vaccines to inoculate their citizens.\nBut the impact of the resurgence of the pandemic is “not really visible” in the IPO space, Fong said.\n\nThailand could see a record number of IPOs this year, says Dealogic’s Ken Fong.\nData shows it’s been a standout in Southeast Asia’s public listing space.\n“Thailand is doing really well. It continues the good trend from last year,” said Fong, head of equity capital market research for Asia-Pacific at Dealogic.\nThe deals so far this year have totaled $2.92 billion in value, according to Dealogic data.\nWith no reason for the current trend to stop, Thailand’s IPO space now appears “on track to have a record year,” the analyst added.\nThe Southeast Asian country usually sees about 30 public listings each year, and data showed most usually come in the latter half of the year, he told CNBC in a call. “Roughly 70-80% of the activity comes from Q4 and Q3 every year.”\nSo far this year, Thailand has seen 14 listings — about half the annual level, Dealogic data showed. The amount raised by this year’s IPOs has already surpassed the annual full year average of $2.8 billion, according to Fong.\nElsewhere in the region, the Philippines has also seen a relatively strong performance in its IPO market, following the debut of food and beverage firm Monde Nissin — described by Fong as the “largest” public listing on record in the country.\nIn Malaysia and Singapore, however, the listing scene has been “rather quiet,” he added.\n‘Very high one-day pop’ for some IPOs\nCovid-19 has ravaged through much of Southeast Asia as their respective governments struggle to obtain sufficient vaccines to inoculate their citizens.\nBut the impact of the resurgence of the pandemic is “not really visible” in the IPO space, Fong said.\n“From our data I do not really see that Southeast Asia is too weak. We look at the aftermarket performance and actually most of the countries have a very high one-day pop,” he said referring to a strong debut on the first day.\nFong cited two IPOs in Thailand as examples.\nPTT Oil and Retail Business went public in February and gained about 62.5% on the first day of trading. Thai insurance broker Ngern Tid Lor also jumped about 25% from the IPO price on its debut day.\nBoth companies were among three that listed in Southeast Asia this year that have been valued at more than $1 billion each, he added.\nAt a time when the market is “still hot,” Fong said, “these mega IPOs just help encourage other ... companies to list.”","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"STI.SI":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":946,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":185737205,"gmtCreate":1623672913207,"gmtModify":1631889086971,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/185737205","repostId":"2143782408","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":968,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":182674519,"gmtCreate":1623573149132,"gmtModify":1631889086978,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"ok","listText":"ok","text":"ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/182674519","repostId":"2143788716","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1129,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":186820225,"gmtCreate":1623485692367,"gmtModify":1631889086990,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Yes","listText":"Yes","text":"Yes","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/186820225","repostId":"1133871419","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2085,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":189175877,"gmtCreate":1623249710799,"gmtModify":1631889087002,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"O","listText":"O","text":"O","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/189175877","repostId":"2142600282","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2142600282","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1623231406,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2142600282?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-09 17:36","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Meme stock frenzy is distracting investors from 'huge opportunities,' Datatrek says","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2142600282","media":"Yahoo Finance","summary":"There is probably a lot of trash in the speculative boom currently taking hold of markets. But hidde","content":"
There is probably a lot of trash in the speculative boom currently taking hold of markets. But hidden amid the meme stocks, SPACs, and crypto coins could be some valuable businesses.
\n
“Somewhere in the hundreds of SPACs and scores of meme stocks are some decent companies and potentially even a few huge opportunities,” DataTrek’s Nicholas Colas wrote in a note this week. “For example: Hertz, which was supposed to be a retail investor graveyard, actually exited bankruptcy with its equity value intact. The same exact thing happened with U-Haul about 20 years ago, by the way.”
\n
While many of the assets used for speculation may have similar price spikes as viral interest or short interest affect people’s perceptions, most of these things are all pretty different, with different stories and long term possibilities.
\n
Take Hertz. Last year, the company was bankrupt and shares were on a roller coaster – investors could try to double or triple their money in a day. But if an investor held on and didn’t sell shares out of boredom or when the stock stopped being compelling (Yahoo Finance traffic data showed interest and trading volume fell off in July 2020 they would be in a pretty good situation, returns-wise.
\n

\n
Hertz had fallen from a June 2020 peak of over $6 to well under a dollar during the months after interest waned and was delisted from the NYSE in 2020. But in May, it ended up being worth over $6 a share when the company emerged from bankruptcy via auction, rewarding shareholders who stayed.
\n
The only thesis there would have been “this name-brand rental car company would get its mojo back when people start renting cars again,” not a huge jump.
\n
'Meme’ stocks and SPACs could have moonshot potential, even if tiny
\n
On the SPAC boom, Colas mused that most will probably fail or at least “dramatically underperform,” but that “somewhere in this barrage of moonshots there will almost certainly be a few huge winners that leverage disruptive technology.”
\n
According to a Reuters investigation, 100 SPACs, most of which began trading last year, gained just 2% from their first-traded prices, dramatically underperforming the S&P 500 index.
\n
But Colas has a reminder that there is an easy way to get exposure to any breakaway successes in the SPAC world — by simply getting involved in a broad equity portfolio like the S&P 500.
\n
“If you own a diversified US equity portfolio like the S&P 500, then SPACs and meme stocks are basically free call options,” Colas wrote. “Somewhere in that basket of oddball ideas could be the next Amazon or Apple, and you absolutely want to see those companies funded. At some point, the 1 percent of SPACs that actually work will end up in the S&P 500, driving future returns. And the 99 percent that fail will have cost you nothing.”
\n

\n
While you might not get the jaw-dropping ground-floor gains, a transformative company would have plenty of gains still to give an index after it’s added. Just look at Apple, Amazon, or even Tesla. If the company is a good one, it will do well, and even if you don’t get those ground-floor gains, not having the losers is a huge advantage.
\n
This is key because you never know what’s going to happen. But hidden amid the meme stocks, SPACs, and crypto coins could be some valuable businesses.\n“Somewhere in the hundreds of SPACs and scores of meme stocks are some decent companies and potentially even a few huge opportunities,” DataTrek’s Nicholas Colas wrote in a note this week. “For example: Hertz, which was supposed to be a retail investor graveyard, actually exited bankruptcy with its equity value intact. The same exact thing happened with U-Haul about 20 years ago, by the way.”\nWhile many of the assets used for speculation may have similar price spikes as viral interest or short interest affect people’s perceptions, most of these things are all pretty different, with different stories and long term possibilities.\nTake Hertz. Last year, the company was bankrupt and shares were on a roller coaster – investors could try to double or triple their money in a day. But if an investor held on and didn’t sell shares out of boredom or when the stock stopped being compelling (Yahoo Finance traffic data showed interest and trading volume fell off in July 2020 they would be in a pretty good situation, returns-wise.\n\nHertz had fallen from a June 2020 peak of over $6 to well under a dollar during the months after interest waned and was delisted from the NYSE in 2020. But in May, it ended up being worth over $6 a share when the company emerged from bankruptcy via auction, rewarding shareholders who stayed.\nThe only thesis there would have been “this name-brand rental car company would get its mojo back when people start renting cars again,” not a huge jump.\n'Meme’ stocks and SPACs could have moonshot potential, even if tiny\nOn the SPAC boom, Colas mused that most will probably fail or at least “dramatically underperform,” but that “somewhere in this barrage of moonshots there will almost certainly be a few huge winners that leverage disruptive technology.”\nAccording to a Reuters investigation, 100 SPACs, most of which began trading last year, gained just 2% from their first-traded prices, dramatically underperforming the S&P 500 index.\nBut Colas has a reminder that there is an easy way to get exposure to any breakaway successes in the SPAC world — by simply getting involved in a broad equity portfolio like the S&P 500.\n“If you own a diversified US equity portfolio like the S&P 500, then SPACs and meme stocks are basically free call options,” Colas wrote. “Somewhere in that basket of oddball ideas could be the next Amazon or Apple, and you absolutely want to see those companies funded. At some point, the 1 percent of SPACs that actually work will end up in the S&P 500, driving future returns. And the 99 percent that fail will have cost you nothing.”\n\nWhile you might not get the jaw-dropping ground-floor gains, a transformative company would have plenty of gains still to give an index after it’s added. Just look at Apple, Amazon, or even Tesla. If the company is a good one, it will do well, and even if you don’t get those ground-floor gains, not having the losers is a huge advantage.\nThis is key because you never know what’s going to happen. For a SPAC with a nebulous business, you can have the moon in your sights. The vaguer things are, the higher you can shoot. But for GameStop, AMC, and Hertz, we’re talking about a game store, a movie theater chain, and a car-rental company — hardly the next Apple. At least, you’d think. If memes are floating on the internet about a given stock, there's a pretty good chance that it's popular on Robinhood but not so much on Wall Street.
\n
However, there are also several stocks that retail investors on the commission-free trading platform and analysts alike hold in high regard. Here are three top Robinhood stocks that Wall Street thinks will soar 25% or more.
\n
\n
Apple
\n
You might think that with a market cap topping $2 trillion, there's not much room for Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) to grow. Analysts would disagree. The average one-year price target for the technology leader reflects a premium of nearly 28% over the current share price.
\n
Apple is the second-most widely held stock among Robinhood investors. Why? Probably because they realize the incredible moat and growth prospects that Apple enjoys with its iPhone-centric ecosystem.
\n
I think this ecosystem could expand enough for Apple to hit Wall Street's price target. The increased availability of high-speed 5G wireless networks continues to fuel demand for the newer iPhone models. Apple's services and wearables revenue also continues to grow significantly.
\n
Over the long run, my view is that technological innovations will keep Apple among the favorite stocks for both Robinhood investors and Wall Street analysts. Look for more augmented reality functionality on the way. There's also speculation that Apple could launch a foldable iPhone in 2023. A future market cap of $3 trillion or more isn't out of the question at all.
\n
Amazon.com
\n
Robinhood investors and analysts also agree on another so-called FAANG stock--Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN). The internet giant ranks as the ninth most popular stock on Robinhood. Analysts think that Amazon's share price could rise 31% over the next 12 months.
\n
There are two key growth drivers that could enable Amazon to deliver that kind of growth. The company's Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform continues to fire on all cylinders and is highly profitable. Amazon is also experiencing strong momentum with its digital advertising business.
\n
Value investor Bill Miller even thinks that these two units could account for most of Amazon's valuation within the next couple of years. He's also bullish about the company's business-to-business and logistics platforms. I suspect Miller's optimism is on point.
\n
Don't forget e-commerce, though. Amazon remains the biggest e-commerce company in the world. Online sales still account for less than 14% of total retail sales in the U.S. There's a lot of room for Amazon to run in its core business.
\n
Bionano Genomics
\n
You might be at least a little surprised by the third top Robinhood stock on our list that Wall Street really likes. The average price target for Bionano Genomics (NASDAQ:BNGO) is a whopping 80% higher than the stock's current price.
\n
Bionano reported better-than-expected Q1 results in May. Revenue jumped 179% year over year to a record-high $3.2 million. Although the company remained unprofitable, its bottom line moved in the right direction.
\n
Customers appear to like Bionano's Saphyr genome mapping system. As the install base grows, the company's recurring revenue from consumables grows. If memes are floating on the internet about a given stock, there's a pretty good chance that it's popular on Robinhood but not so much on Wall Street.\nHowever, there are also several stocks that retail investors on the commission-free trading platform and analysts alike hold in high regard. Here are three top Robinhood stocks that Wall Street thinks will soar 25% or more.\nIMAGE SOURCE: GETTY IMAGES.\nApple\nYou might think that with a market cap topping $2 trillion, there's not much room for Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) to grow. Analysts would disagree. The average one-year price target for the technology leader reflects a premium of nearly 28% over the current share price.\nApple is the second-most widely held stock among Robinhood investors. Why? Probably because they realize the incredible moat and growth prospects that Apple enjoys with its iPhone-centric ecosystem.\nI think this ecosystem could expand enough for Apple to hit Wall Street's price target. The increased availability of high-speed 5G wireless networks continues to fuel demand for the newer iPhone models. Apple's services and wearables revenue also continues to grow significantly.\nOver the long run, my view is that technological innovations will keep Apple among the favorite stocks for both Robinhood investors and Wall Street analysts. Look for more augmented reality functionality on the way. There's also speculation that Apple could launch a foldable iPhone in 2023. A future market cap of $3 trillion or more isn't out of the question at all.\nAmazon.com\nRobinhood investors and analysts also agree on another so-called FAANG stock--Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN). The internet giant ranks as the ninth most popular stock on Robinhood. Analysts think that Amazon's share price could rise 31% over the next 12 months.\nThere are two key growth drivers that could enable Amazon to deliver that kind of growth. The company's Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform continues to fire on all cylinders and is highly profitable. Amazon is also experiencing strong momentum with its digital advertising business.\nValue investor Bill Miller even thinks that these two units could account for most of Amazon's valuation within the next couple of years. He's also bullish about the company's business-to-business and logistics platforms. I suspect Miller's optimism is on point.\nDon't forget e-commerce, though. Amazon remains the biggest e-commerce company in the world. Online sales still account for less than 14% of total retail sales in the U.S. There's a lot of room for Amazon to run in its core business.\nBionano Genomics\nYou might be at least a little surprised by the third top Robinhood stock on our list that Wall Street really likes. The average price target for Bionano Genomics (NASDAQ:BNGO) is a whopping 80% higher than the stock's current price.\nBionano reported better-than-expected Q1 results in May. Revenue jumped 179% year over year to a record-high $3.2 million. Although the company remained unprofitable, its bottom line moved in the right direction.\nCustomers appear to like Bionano's Saphyr genome mapping system. As the install base grows, the company's recurring revenue from consumables grows. That's the kind of business model that investors hope could really pay off over the long run.\nBionano projects that it will have 150 Saphyr systems in the field by the end of this year, up 50% from the end of 2020. The company also anticipates receiving accreditation for additional laboratory-developed tests for Saphyr soon. Bionano is riskier than Apple or Amazon, but analysts think it could be a huge winner over the near term.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":0.9,"AMZN":0.9,"BNGO":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1494,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":111949898,"gmtCreate":1622650574814,"gmtModify":1631891689299,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[财迷] ","listText":"[财迷] ","text":"[财迷]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/111949898","repostId":"2140102614","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":688,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":133541996,"gmtCreate":1621774878115,"gmtModify":1631891689302,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/133541996","repostId":"1111747453","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1111747453","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1621609858,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1111747453?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-21 23:10","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Tesla’s New Plaid Model Is Ready. Coke recently launched Topo Chico Hard Seltzer, marking its first move into alcoholic beverages on its home turf after a four-decade long hiatus. The company has also recently invested in the sports performance drink category with BodyArmor and it purchased U.K. coffee maker Costa in 2019.\nAnd while the pandemic has caused major disruptions to its profitable away-from-home beverage business, revenue rose 5% to $9 billion in the first quarter of 2021 from the prior year.\n“We were very focused over the last 12 months on really improving our marketing, we cut the portfolio of brands in half, we got really focused on our innovation pipeline, we worked with our bottlers to really support the customers in new and different ways where they’re open,” said Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey.\nCoke is eagerly anticipating the summer season and vaccin erollouts.\nSo after 135 years in business can the soft drink giant stay on top? And what will the secular decline of sugar-sweetened beverages in the U.S. mean for the future of Coca-Cola?\nWatch the above video to find out more.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"KO":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":132,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":196426462,"gmtCreate":1621095397456,"gmtModify":1631891689310,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[微笑] ","listText":"[微笑] ","text":"[微笑]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/196426462","repostId":"1163454382","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1163454382","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1621004581,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1163454382?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-14 23:03","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why AMC Entertainment Stock Jumped Again Friday","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1163454382","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"AMC investors have reason for more optimism on the heels of another capital raise.Yesterday's jump came after the company announcedit raised $428 million. So, should we listen to the market and avoid COUR stock altogether?

Since Coursera recently released some critical fiscal data, we can just examine the facts and make our own decisions. After all education is the key to success in the long run. I’m sure Coursera would agree.

A Closer Look at COUR Stock

March 31, 2021 was an important day as that’s when COUR stockbecame available for public tradingon the New York Stock Exchange.

The stock was originally expected to be priced between $30 and $33. Coursera ended up setting the offering price at $33, but the stock actually opened for public trading at $39.

That day, COUR stockclosed up 36%at a price of $45. With that, Coursera now had a market capitalization of $5.9 billion.

The rally did continue for a little while longer. On April 7, the stock reached a 52-week high of $62.53.

However, COUR stock declined after that. At the end of the trading day on May 7, the shares were priced at $36.14. It will open today at about $39.

Should the stockholders give up hope and should prospective investors stay away?

Again, we’ll dig deeper and let the data guide us. In doing so, perhaps we can identify reasons to stay the course with Coursera.

Democratizing Education, Profitably

With higher education being so expensive nowadays, I’ve got to give Coursera credit for making college-level learning more accessible to the public.

As co-founder and Chairman Andrew Ng put it, “We started Coursera to democratize access to high-quality education [with a mission] to transform lives through learning.”

There are statistics to demonstrate that Coursera is succeeding in this endeavor. Impressively, more than 200 universities and institutions of learning have worked with Coursera.

And, there’s practically something for everyone who’s interested in adult education. Coursera offers:

more than 4,600 courses

over 1,000 “guided projects” to learn job skills in less than two hours

a variety of professional certification programs

Is all of this translating into revenues? I’d say the answer is yes, but don’t just take my word for it.

Instead, take the company’s word for it. According to Coursera, the company had over 77 million registered learners on the platform at the end of 2020.

Moreover, Coursera claims to have more than 2,000 business customers. If you’re impressed with those figures, it only gets better from here.

Embracing Online Learning

Not long after the company’s IPO, Coursera posted its first-quarter 2021 fiscal results.

If there was any doubt that the Covid-19 pandemic provided a tailwind for Coursera, the company’s quarterly revenues should put that doubt to rest.

Specifically, Coursera’sfirst-quarter revenues totaled $88.4 million. That represents a 64% increase on a year-over-year basis.

We can break this down into segments:

Consumer revenues of $51.9 million, up 61%

Enterprise revenues of $24.5 million, up 63%

Revenues from degree programs totaling $12 million, up 81%

In case that isn’t enough for you, then note that Coursera added five million net new registered learners during the first quarter. With that, the total stood at 82 million.

Coursera CEO Jeff Maggioncalda suggested that this growth is part of a much larger phenomenon.

“Our strong first-quarter performance reflects the continued trend of individuals and institutions embracing online learning to develop skills for a digital future,” Maggioncalda explained.

The Bottom Line on COUR Stock

Worried that the trend towards online learning is coming to a standstill? You shouldn’t be.

Coursera’s ability to generate strong revenues is proof positive that digital education is here to stay – and that the dip in COUR stock is worth buying.

On the date of publication, David Moadel did not have (either directly or indirectly) any positions in the securities mentioned in this article.

Coursera fell over 10% in early morning trading.

","source":"lsy1606302653667","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Tap Into Modern, Digitized Learning Modes Sith Coursera
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nTap Into Modern, Digitized Learning Modes Sith Coursera\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-05-12 23:03 GMT+8 Investorplace\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
After a monster of an IPO and solid earnings results, COUR stock's decline shouldn't last.Due to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, a new renaissance in online education ensued in 2020. In doing so, perhaps we can identify reasons to stay the course with Coursera.Democratizing Education, ProfitablyWith higher education being so expensive nowadays, I’ve got to give Coursera credit for making college-level learning more accessible to the public. As co-founder and Chairman Andrew Ng put it, “We started Coursera to democratize access to high-quality education [with a mission] to transform lives through learning.”There are statistics to demonstrate that Coursera is succeeding in this endeavor. Impressively, more than 200 universities and institutions of learning have worked with Coursera. And, there’s practically something for everyone who’s interested in adult education. Coursera offers:more than 4,600 coursesover 1,000 “guided projects” to learn job skills in less than two hoursa variety of professional certification programsIs all of this translating into revenues? I’d say the answer is yes, but don’t just take my word for it.Instead, take the company’s word for it. According to Coursera, the company had over 77 million registered learners on the platform at the end of 2020.Moreover, Coursera claims to have more than 2,000 business customers. If you’re impressed with those figures, it only gets better from here.Embracing Online LearningNot long after the company’s IPO, Coursera posted its first-quarter 2021 fiscal results. If there was any doubt that the Covid-19 pandemic provided a tailwind for Coursera, the company’s quarterly revenues should put that doubt to rest.Specifically, Coursera’sfirst-quarter revenues totaled $88.4 million. That represents a 64% increase on a year-over-year basis. We can break this down into segments:Consumer revenues of $51.9 million, up 61%Enterprise revenues of $24.5 million, up 63%Revenues from degree programs totaling $12 million, up 81%In case that isn’t enough for you, then note that Coursera added five million net new registered learners during the first quarter. With that, the total stood at 82 million.Coursera CEO Jeff Maggioncalda suggested that this growth is part of a much larger phenomenon.“Our strong first-quarter performance reflects the continued trend of individuals and institutions embracing online learning to develop skills for a digital future,” Maggioncalda explained. The Bottom Line on COUR StockWorried that the trend towards online learning is coming to a standstill? You shouldn’t be.Coursera’s ability to generate strong revenues is proof positive that digital education is here to stay – and that the dip in COUR stock is worth buying. On the date of publication, David Moadel did not have (either directly or indirectly) any positions in the securities mentioned in this article.Coursera fell over 10% in early morning trading.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"COUR":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":386,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":190752095,"gmtCreate":1620654510717,"gmtModify":1631891689315,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[财迷] ","listText":"[财迷] ","text":"[财迷]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/190752095","repostId":"2134686276","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":781,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":104182029,"gmtCreate":1620363661661,"gmtModify":1631891689319,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[微笑] ","listText":"[微笑] ","text":"[微笑]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/104182029","repostId":"1157328258","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1157328258","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1620360165,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1157328258?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-07 12:02","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Amazon: The Most Clearly Undervalued Company","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1157328258","media":"Seeking alpha","summary":"SummaryAmazon is one of the companies whose growth has not yet reached its limit and not even entere","content":"
Summary

Amazon is one of the companies whose growth has not yet reached its limit and not even entered the plateau phase.

In terms of comparative valuation, AMZN is undervalued against the market.

DCF-based Amazon stock price target suggests 30% upside potential.
Bionano is riskier than Apple or Amazon, but analysts think it could be a huge winner over the near term.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":0.9,"AMZN":0.9,"BNGO":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1494,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":196426462,"gmtCreate":1621095397456,"gmtModify":1631891689310,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[微笑] ","listText":"[微笑] ","text":"[微笑]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/196426462","repostId":"1163454382","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1163454382","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1621004581,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1163454382?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-14 23:03","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why AMC Entertainment Stock Jumped Again Friday","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1163454382","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"AMC investors have reason for more optimism on the heels of another capital raise.Yesterday's jump came after the company announcedit raised $428 million. Thai insurance broker Ngern Tid Lor also jumped about 25% from the IPO price on its debut day.\nBoth companies were among three that listed in Southeast Asia this year that have been valued at more than $1 billion each, he added.\nAt a time when the market is “still hot,” Fong said, “these mega IPOs just help encourage other ... companies to list.”","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"STI.SI":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":946,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":185737205,"gmtCreate":1623672913207,"gmtModify":1631889086971,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/185737205","repostId":"2143782408","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":968,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":182674519,"gmtCreate":1623573149132,"gmtModify":1631889086978,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"ok","listText":"ok","text":"ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/182674519","repostId":"2143788716","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1129,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":117293556,"gmtCreate":1623141716575,"gmtModify":1631889087013,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/117293556","repostId":"1144438912","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1144438912","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1623140401,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1144438912?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-08 16:20","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Dada surged more than 8% in premarket trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1144438912","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"(June 8) Dada surged more than 8% in premarket trading.Hours ago, Dada Nexus reports Q1 adjusted los","content":"
(June 8) Dada surged more than 8% in premarket trading.

Hours ago, Dada Nexus reports Q1 adjusted lossof RMB0.65 per share vs. a loss of RMB1.11 per share in lastyear's quarter.

Total net revenues rose 52.1% Y/Y to RMB1,672.8 million.

Non-GAAP loss from operations was RMB648.1 million, compared with RMB205.5 million.

As of March 31, 2021, the Company had RMB5,485.8 million in cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash and short-term investments.

Total Gross Merchandise Volume of JDDJ for the twelve months ended March 31, 2021 rose 79% Y/Y to RMB28.1 billion.

Number of active consumers for the twelve months ended March 31, 2021 rose 67% Y/Y to 46.1M.

Q2 Outlook:Total revenue of RMB1.4B-1.45B (about $219-$226.9M) vs. a consensus of $244.4M.

“We delivered another solid quarter and expect the strong growth momentum will continue,” said Beck Chen, Chief Financial Officer of Dada. “We expect the pro forma growth of total revenue of the Q2 will be 72% to 78%, adjusting the revenue recognition of last-mile delivery services to net basis in Q2 of 2020 and 2021. That is a milestone investors who are bullish on Tesla stock have been waiting for, but it isn’t the most important one.
\n
Beginning deliveries should help the stock—-a little.
\n
Tesla(ticker: TSLA) stock rose 4.1% amid a broad market rally Thursday, but the gain still left shares down for the week. Tesla stock was up another 0.8% in Friday trading, a touch better than the 0.7% gain in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The S&P 500 was up 0.5%.
\n

\n
The Plaid is billed by Tesla as the fastest production car ever, going zero to 60 in under 2 seconds. A Bugatti Chiron, which costs about $2.3 million and is equipped with a 16-cylinder, four-turbocharger engine, can go zero to 60 in about 2.3 seconds.
\n
Electric motors have better torque at zero revolutions a minute, giving drivers an incredible jolt from their initial acceleration.
\n
The Plaid edition of the Model S won’t cost anywhere near as much as a Chiron, but it will still run buyers $120,000 or more. Prices like that mean the car won’t sell in the high volumes seen from the Tesla Model 3 or Model Y. Those cars can be had for what a nicely equipped sedan from BMW (BMW.Germany) or evenToyota Motor (TM) or Honda (HMC) can cost.
\n
Still, the launch highlights Tesla’s ability to update its designs. The first Model S went into production almost a decade ago. Its performance shows Tesla is improving on its technologies for battery management and electric motors.
\n
All that is important for perceptions about Tesla, but there are bigger things on investors’ minds. Tesla is building new capacity in Austin, Texas, andBerlin. Investors want to see both plants on line by the end of the year, giving Tesla the output capacity needed to increase sales.
\n
Investors also want updates about the company’s autonomous driving programs. Musk has boasted the company is close to achieving fully autonomous cars with newer versions of its self-driving software. The new versions probably won’t mean drivers can actually leave the driver seat, but better driver-assistance functions are a competitive advantage for auto makers.
\n
The next version of the Tesla software is due to roll out in coming weeks.
\n
Capacity and autonomous driving have the potential to lift the stock in coming years. The Model S Plaid can help it in coming quarters.
\n
Tesla stock is in need of a lift. That is a milestone investors who are bullish on Tesla stock have been waiting for, but it isn’t the most important one.\nBeginning deliveries should help the stock—-a little.\nTesla(ticker: TSLA) stock rose 4.1% amid a broad market rally Thursday, but the gain still left shares down for the week. Tesla stock was up another 0.8% in Friday trading, a touch better than the 0.7% gain in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The S&P 500 was up 0.5%.\n\nThe Plaid is billed by Tesla as the fastest production car ever, going zero to 60 in under 2 seconds. A Bugatti Chiron, which costs about $2.3 million and is equipped with a 16-cylinder, four-turbocharger engine, can go zero to 60 in about 2.3 seconds.\nElectric motors have better torque at zero revolutions a minute, giving drivers an incredible jolt from their initial acceleration.\nThe Plaid edition of the Model S won’t cost anywhere near as much as a Chiron, but it will still run buyers $120,000 or more. Prices like that mean the car won’t sell in the high volumes seen from the Tesla Model 3 or Model Y. Those cars can be had for what a nicely equipped sedan from BMW (BMW.Germany) or evenToyota Motor (TM) or Honda (HMC) can cost.\nStill, the launch highlights Tesla’s ability to update its designs. The first Model S went into production almost a decade ago. Its performance shows Tesla is improving on its technologies for battery management and electric motors.\nAll that is important for perceptions about Tesla, but there are bigger things on investors’ minds. Tesla is building new capacity in Austin, Texas, andBerlin. Investors want to see both plants on line by the end of the year, giving Tesla the output capacity needed to increase sales.\nInvestors also want updates about the company’s autonomous driving programs. Musk has boasted the company is close to achieving fully autonomous cars with newer versions of its self-driving software. The new versions probably won’t mean drivers can actually leave the driver seat, but better driver-assistance functions are a competitive advantage for auto makers.\nThe next version of the Tesla software is due to roll out in coming weeks.\nCapacity and autonomous driving have the potential to lift the stock in coming years. The Model S Plaid can help it in coming quarters.\nTesla stock is in need of a lift. Shares are down about 35% from their 52-week high of more than $900, reached in January.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":267,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":130700096,"gmtCreate":1621563563615,"gmtModify":1631891689304,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/130700096","repostId":"1132830403","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":282,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":194198518,"gmtCreate":1621346624734,"gmtModify":1631891689309,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/194198518","repostId":"1129915772","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1129915772","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1621344451,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1129915772?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-18 21:27","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Coca-Cola is turning to hard seltzer and sports drinks in a bid to stay on top","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1129915772","media":"CNBC","summary":"With more than 1.9 billion drinks served every day,Coca-Cola is one of the world’s largest beverage ","content":"
\n
With more than 1.9 billion drinks served every day,Coca-Cola is one of the world’s largest beverage companies.\nFrom its humble beginnings selling a single product at a drugstore for 5 cents a glass, ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n","source":"cnbc_highlight","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; The company has also recently invested in the sports performance drink category with BodyArmor and it purchased U.K. coffee maker Costa in 2019.\nAnd while the pandemic has caused major disruptions to its profitable away-from-home beverage business, revenue rose 5% to $9 billion in the first quarter of 2021 from the prior year.\n“We were very focused over the last 12 months on really improving our marketing, we cut the portfolio of brands in half, we got really focused on our innovation pipeline, we worked with our bottlers to really support the customers in new and different ways where they’re open,” said Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey.\nCoke is eagerly anticipating the summer season and vaccin erollouts.\nSo after 135 years in business can the soft drink giant stay on top? It’s still an important market, and enterprising investors might considerCoursera(NYSE:COUR) as COUR stock recently became available for public trading.

Sure, there was the hype phase during Coursera’s initial public offering (IPO).

However, the enthusiasm has already worn off and the share price has fallen sharply.

It’s an interesting situation in which the market doesn’t seem fully convinced of Coursera’s value.

It’s still an important market, and enterprising investors might considerCoursera(NYSE:COUR) as COUR stock recently became available for public trading.Sure, there was the hype phase during Coursera’s initial public offering (IPO).However, the enthusiasm has already worn off and the share price has fallen sharply. It’s an interesting situation in which the market doesn’t seem fully convinced of Coursera’s value. So, should we listen to the market and avoid COUR stock altogether?Since Coursera recently released some critical fiscal data, we can just examine the facts and make our own decisions. After all education is the key to success in the long run. I’m sure Coursera would agree.A Closer Look at COUR StockMarch 31, 2021 was an important day as that’s when COUR stockbecame available for public tradingon the New York Stock Exchange. The stock was originally expected to be priced between $30 and $33. Coursera ended up setting the offering price at $33, but the stock actually opened for public trading at $39.That day, COUR stockclosed up 36%at a price of $45. With that, Coursera now had a market capitalization of $5.9 billion. The rally did continue for a little while longer. On April 7, the stock reached a 52-week high of $62.53.However, COUR stock declined after that. At the end of the trading day on May 7, the shares were priced at $36.14. It will open today at about $39.Should the stockholders give up hope and should prospective investors stay away?Again, we’ll dig deeper and let the data guide us. On the date of publication, David Moadel did not have (either directly or indirectly) any positions in the securities mentioned in this article.Coursera fell over 10% in early morning trading.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"COUR":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":386,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":104182029,"gmtCreate":1620363661661,"gmtModify":1631891689319,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[微笑] ","listText":"[微笑] ","text":"[微笑]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/104182029","repostId":"1157328258","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1157328258","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1620360165,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1157328258?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-07 12:02","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Amazon: The Most Clearly Undervalued Company","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1157328258","media":"Seeking alpha","summary":"SummaryAmazon is one of the companies whose growth has not yet reached its limit and not even entere","content":"
Summary

Amazon is one of the companies whose growth has not yet reached its limit and not even entered the plateau phase.

In terms of comparative valuation, AMZN is undervalued against the market.

DCF-based Amazon stock price target suggests 30% upside potential. To do this, let's compare the revenue growth trends of the key segments of the company with and without the results of the last four quarters.

The dynamics of the 'Online Stores' segment showed a qualitative breakthrough. Now, it has become exponential:

Source: VisualizedAnalytics.com

The 'Third-Party Seller Services' segment - the exponential growth continues:

Source: VisualizedAnalytics.com

The 'Subscription Services' (Amazon Prime) segment - here the acceleration remains, and the result of the last quarter was better than the trend:

Source: VisualizedAnalytics.com

The 'Other' (advertising services) segment has also showed a significant acceleration:

Source: VisualizedAnalytics.com

The growth trend of 'Amazon Web Services' has slowed down, but judging by the results of the last quarter, there is a gradual return to the previous trend:

Source: VisualizedAnalytics.com

Geographically, Amazon's revenue was also significantly better than the trend:

Source: VisualizedAnalytics.com

So, statistically, not subjectively, we should recognize the acceleration of the company's growthin all key segments. In my opinion, this is exactly what is expected from Amazon.

Further. Over the last 10 years, Amazon's capitalization has been in a qualitative linear relationship with its revenue:

Source: VisualizedAnalytics.com

There is also a certain influence of the company's revenue growth rate on its multiples:

Source: VisualizedAnalytics.com

Based on these two relationships and taking into account the influence of the growth of theM2 money stockin the US, it is possible to build another model that allows us to determine the balanced level of the company's capitalization. In addition, this model allows to model the growth of the company's capitalization based on the current expectations of analysts regarding the company's revenue growth in the next four quarters. Here is this model:

Source: VisualizedAnalytics.com

As you can see, firstly, this model indicates that the company's current price is alreadybelow the balanced level. And secondly, it assumes a25% growthin capitalization in the next four quarters.

#2 Comparative Valuation

In the previous block, I modeled Amazon's balanced price based on revenue. What is remarkable is that if we apply the same approach to the comparative valuation of the company using multiples, we will fail. At least I have not been able to find a single revenue-based multiple that would make it possible to successfully compare Amazon to other companies. But the forward P/E (next FY) multiple adjusted by the expected EPS annual growth rate made it possible to find a suitable model:

Source: VisualizedAnalytics.com

As you can see, judging by this multiple, Amazon is significantly undervalued.

#3 Discounted Cash Flow Model

When predicting Amazon's revenue for the next decade, I proceeded from the average expectations ofanalysts:

Source: Seeking Alpha Pro

When predicting the dynamics of Amazon's operating margin, I also proceeded from analysts'expectationsregarding the growth of the company's EPS, and taking into account the gradual increase in the tax rate to 25%. In my opinion, a gradual increase in the operating margin to 8% in the terminal year is a very realistic scenario.

Here is the calculation of the Weighted Average Cost of Capital:

Source: Author

Some explanations:

In order to calculate the market rate of return, I used values of equityriskpremium (4.72%) and the current yield of UST10 as a risk-free rate (1.6%).

I used the currentvalueof the three-year beta coefficient (0.92). For the terminal year, I used Beta equal to 1.

To calculate the Cost of Debt, I used the interest expense for 2019 and 2020 divided by the debt value for the same years.

Here is the model itself:

(In high resolution)

Source: Author

The DCF-based target price of Amazon's shares is $4,280, offering 29% upside.

Final thoughts

Amazon is one of the companies whose growth has not yet reached its limit and not even entered the plateau phase. In a sense, this is a startup with $73 billion cash.

The fact that Amazon remains in the acceleration phase does not mean that its capitalization is constantly undervalued. But in this case, based on the patterns between the company's capitalization and the parameters of its revenue, we can conclude that the company isundervalued.

Comparing Amazon to other companies through the prism of expected EPS growth, it must be admitted that the company ismuch cheaperthan the market.

DCF model based on average expectations analysts indicate a 30% undervaluation. At the start of the year, a similarmodelindicated a 20% undervaluation.

When you look at Amazon's revenue forecast for the next decade, you realize that the company will face growth problems. At least I have not been able to find a single revenue-based multiple that would make it possible to successfully compare Amazon to other companies. But the forward P/E (next FY) multiple adjusted by the expected EPS annual growth rate made it possible to find a suitable model:Source: VisualizedAnalytics.comAs you can see, judging by this multiple, Amazon is significantly undervalued.#3 Discounted Cash Flow ModelWhen predicting Amazon's revenue for the next decade, I proceeded from the average expectations ofanalysts:Source: Seeking Alpha ProWhen predicting the dynamics of Amazon's operating margin, I also proceeded from analysts'expectationsregarding the growth of the company's EPS, and taking into account the gradual increase in the tax rate to 25%. In my opinion, a gradual increase in the operating margin to 8% in the terminal year is a very realistic scenario. Here is the calculation of the Weighted Average Cost of Capital:Source: AuthorSome explanations:In order to calculate the market rate of return, I used values of equityriskpremium (4.72%) and the current yield of UST10 as a risk-free rate (1.6%).I used the currentvalueof the three-year beta coefficient (0.92). For the terminal year, I used Beta equal to 1.To calculate the Cost of Debt, I used the interest expense for 2019 and 2020 divided by the debt value for the same years. Here is the model itself:(In high resolution)Source: AuthorThe DCF-based target price of Amazon's shares is $4,280, offering 29% upside.Final thoughtsAmazon is one of the companies whose growth has not yet reached its limit and not even entered the plateau phase. In a sense, this is a startup with $73 billion cash. The fact that Amazon remains in the acceleration phase does not mean that its capitalization is constantly undervalued. But in this case, based on the patterns between the company's capitalization and the parameters of its revenue, we can conclude that the company isundervalued.Comparing Amazon to other companies through the prism of expected EPS growth, it must be admitted that the company ismuch cheaperthan the market.DCF model based on average expectations analysts indicate a 30% undervaluation. At the start of the year, a similarmodelindicated a 20% undervaluation. When you look at Amazon's revenue forecast for the next decade, you realize that the company will face growth problems. But in my opinion,it is better to invest in a company facing growth problems than aging problems.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMZN":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":812,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":148396774,"gmtCreate":1625926615198,"gmtModify":1631889086924,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/148396774","repostId":"2150370120","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1092,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":186820225,"gmtCreate":1623485692367,"gmtModify":1631889086990,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Yes","listText":"Yes","text":"Yes","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/186820225","repostId":"1133871419","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2085,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":189175877,"gmtCreate":1623249710799,"gmtModify":1631889087002,"author":{"id":"3578224654391596","authorId":"3578224654391596","name":"keozmi","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578224654391596","authorIdStr":"3578224654391596"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"O","listText":"O","text":"O","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/189175877","repostId":"2142600282","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2142600282","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1623231406,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2142600282?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-09 17:36","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Meme stock frenzy is distracting investors from 'huge opportunities,' Datatrek says","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2142600282","media":"Yahoo Finance","summary":"There is probably a lot of trash in the speculative boom currently taking hold of markets.
