There is a good mix of local and international players working together to make the RTS Link a success.\" RTSO chairman, Datuk Mohd Farid Mohd Adnan, said the firm is fully committed to delivering the RTS project despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Vice-chairman Yap Kim Wah said the good progress made on the project is a testament to the close collaboration among all parties.\nRTSO was formed last year and will own, design, build, finance and manage all RTS Link operating assets, including trains, tracks and systems.\nThe Singapore-incorporated company will also operate and maintain the 4km rail line and the associated Wadi Hana depot in Johor Baru.\nThe latest update comes several months after Singapore broke ground on the Woodlands North terminus station in January, and the Land Transport Authority awarded a S$180 million contract to build a 25m-tall viaduct and rail tunnels for the RTS Link.\nConstruction on the viaduct, which will span the Johor Strait, and the tunnels were expected to begin this quarter. Construction on the Bukit Chagar terminus station had begun last November.\nWhen completed in end-2026, the RTS Link is expected go some way towards easing congestion on the Causeway. Before Covid-19 restrictions were imposed, close to 300,000 people crossed the Causeway daily.\nThe rail link is expected to carry up to 10,000 passengers every hour in each direction, and the trip between both terminus stations should take only five minutes.\nCommuters departing from Woodlands North will be served by a terminus station and an immigration complex about 10 times the size of a typical MRT station.\nAnnounced in 2010, the bilateral project was suspended in 2019 at the request of Malaysia which wanted to review its scope, structure and costs. It officially resumed in July last year.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":654,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"hots":[{"id":198839551,"gmtCreate":1620950067673,"gmtModify":1634195092930,"author":{"id":"3583990679573923","authorId":"3583990679573923","name":"RMAR","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3583990679573923","idStr":"3583990679573923"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/198839551","repostId":"1143623731","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1143623731","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1620947790,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1143623731?lang=zh_CN&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-14 07:16","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Disney+ subscriber growth is slowing like Netflix's — with one worrisome difference<blockquote>Disney+用户增长与Netflix一样放缓——但有一个令人担忧的差异</blockquote>","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1143623731","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Disney reported 103.6 million Disney+ customers as of April 3.
