Lancz & Associates Inc, an investment advisory firm based in Toledo, Ohio.\nRight after the Fed statement, the S&P 500 index reversed slight declines though it still ended a hair lower on the day.\nInvestors have been worried about how rising inflation and a spike in COVID-19 cases might impact the central bank’s plan to potentially start withdrawing its stimulus.\nThe central bank also said that higher inflation remained the result of “transitory factors.” The Fed kept its overnight benchmark interest rate near zero and left unchanged its bond-buying program.\nThe Nasdaq ended higher and shares of Google parent Alphabet Inc hit an all-time high as a surge in advertising spending helped it post record quarterly results. The stock ended up 3.2%.\nThe Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 127.59 points, or 0.36%, to 34,930.93, the S&P 500 lost 0.82 point, or 0.02%, to 4,400.64 and the Nasdaq Composite added 102.01 points, or 0.7%, to 14,762.58.\nThe Fed’s statement came at the conclusion of its latest two-day policy meeting.\n“They had a chance to signal they were going to become more hawkish and they chose not to take it. The most important thing is they are predictable and they are remaining predictable,” said Ellen Hazen, portfolio manager at F.L. Putnam Investment Management in Wellesley, Massachusetts.\nIn other earnings news, Microsoft Corp ended down 0.1% even as a boom in cloud services helped it beat Wall Street expectations for revenue and earnings.\nVolume on U.S. exchanges was 9.86 billion shares, compared with a similar average for the full session over the last 20 trading days.\nAdvancing issues outnumbered declining ones on the NYSE by a 1.85-to-1 ratio; on Nasdaq, a 2.61-to-1 ratio favored advancers.\nThe S&P 500 posted 42 new 52-week highs and no new lows; the Nasdaq Composite recorded 44 new highs and 67 new lows.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"161125":0.9,".DJI":0.9,".IXIC":0.9,".SPX":0.9,"ESmain":0.9,"IVV":0.9,"OEF":0.9,"OEX":0.9,"SDS":0.9,"SH":0.9,"SPXU":0.9,"SPY":0.9,"SSO":0.9,"UPRO":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1763,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":172075636,"gmtCreate":1626924164625,"gmtModify":1633769678011,"author":{"id":"3586664088792049","authorId":"3586664088792049","name":"ChingKeat","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0c4e7a5a95e073b890dc6bef918bd2b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3586664088792049","authorIdStr":"3586664088792049"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice!","listText":"Nice!","text":"Nice!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/172075636","repostId":"1170597291","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1170597291","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1626923172,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1170597291?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-07-22 11:06","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple Planning 5G-Enabled Budget iPhone: Report","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1170597291","media":"Benzinga","summary":"Apple, Inc. is gearing up to launch the next iteration of its iPhone — theiPhone 13— in September, a","content":"
Apple, Inc. is gearing up to launch the next iteration of its iPhone — theiPhone 13— in September, and analysts are optimistic concerning continued momentum for Cupertino's flagship product.
\n
It now appears the tech giant is laying the groundwork for a follow-up budget model.
\n
What Happened:Apple's next budget iPhone, which is suffixed \"SE,\" could be launched as early as the first half of 2022, and it will come armed with an in-house A15 processor that is an integral part of premium iPhones, the Nikkei reported.
\n
The iPhone SE model will have 5G connectivity powered by Qualcomm Incorporated's X60 modem chips, the report said.
\n
With the planned 5G-enabled iPhone SE, Apple's iPhone portfolio will be complete with a full range of 5G offerings, Nikkei said.
\n
Apple's budget 5G iPhone, according to the report, will look like a refreshed iPhone 8 version, and have a 4.7-inch liquid crystal diode display as opposed to the OLED displays used in theiPhone 12 lineup.
\n
Why It's Important:The first iPhone SE was released in 2016, and the next budget model came out in April 2020. Let’s take a look at what we can expect this week in the Macro, Tesla, and Technical world.
\n
Macro Outlook:
\n
The Nasdaq 100 ($NDX) underperformed the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index ($DJI) last week. This movement coincided with an increase in the 10-year bond yield indicating inflation fears for investors. Supporting fears for inflation, the Consumer Price Indexdataannounced on Tuesday, July 13thwas thelargestyear-over-year jump since August 2008. China’s COVID-19 Delta variant outbreak is also a concern. The strain appeared to be isolated to the Guangdong Province which resulted inlockdowns but, has since spread. Expansion of lockdowns into Shanghai may result in the closure of factories.
\n
Tesla Catalysts:
\n
Tesla’s Q2 earnings call is exactly one week away. Historically, Tesla stock has traded positively the week before the earnings call. However, the same cannot be said about the week following despite beating analysts' expectations in six of the last 8 quarters.
\n
Note: The day before/after reporting data only included intraday price action. The week before/after reporting only included intra-week price action.
\n
The current Wall St.estimate for Tesla's second-quarter is $0.93 EPS and has been revised downward from April’s estimate of $0.97.
\n
Tesla has also released a subscription service for their Full Self-Driving software. The feature starts at $199 per month compared to the up-front purchase of $10,000.
\n
For More information on the FSD SubscriptionCLICK HERE
\n
Technical Outlook:
\n
Friday’s price action resulted in Tesla’s stock price closing at $644.22. Tesla stock remains ~$12 above the 200-day moving. Despite two weeks of downward price action, a reversal toward the upside before earnings would not be a surprise. One would expect upward resistance at last week’s high of $693 and support at the 200-day moving average.
\n
Monday Pre-Market
\n
Tesla stock, along with the majorindicesand bond yields are negative before Monday's open. Let’s take a look at what we can expect this week in the Macro, Tesla, and Technical world.\nMacro Outlook:\nThe Nasdaq 100 ($NDX) underperformed the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index ($DJI) last week. Expansion of lockdowns into Shanghai may result in the closure of factories.\nTesla Catalysts:\nTesla’s Q2 earnings call is exactly one week away. Historically, Tesla stock has traded positively the week before the earnings call. However, the same cannot be said about the week following despite beating analysts' expectations in six of the last 8 quarters.\nNote: The day before/after reporting data only included intraday price action. The week before/after reporting only included intra-week price action.\nThe current Wall St.estimate for Tesla's second-quarter is $0.93 EPS and has been revised downward from April’s estimate of $0.97.\nTesla has also released a subscription service for their Full Self-Driving software. The feature starts at $199 per month compared to the up-front purchase of $10,000.\nFor More information on the FSD SubscriptionCLICK HERE\nTechnical Outlook:\nFriday’s price action resulted in Tesla’s stock price closing at $644.22. Tesla stock remains ~$12 above the 200-day moving. Despite two weeks of downward price action, a reversal toward the upside before earnings would not be a surprise. One would expect upward resistance at last week’s high of $693 and support at the 200-day moving average.\nMonday Pre-Market\nTesla stock, along with the majorindicesand bond yields are negative before Monday's open. This lower start appears to be driven by the COVID-19 Delta variant news. Overall, COVID-19 cases haverisen70% week-over-week to 26,000 cases in the United States.\nCurrently, Tesla stock is trading below the 200-day moving average near $629. Where can it ","content":"
\n Microsoft recently hit new all-time highs and eclipsed the $2 trillion valuation mark. Where can it go from here?\n
\n
Microsoft (MSFT) -Get Report topped a $2 trillion market cap on Tuesday, joining Apple (AAPL) -Get Report as the other U.S. company to hold such a value.
\n
Even though it’s trading better lately, Apple has been consolidating for the better part ofthree calendar quarters now, while Microsoft has slowly but surely continued to grind to new highs.
\n
That’s been a divide in FAANG over the last six months or so.
\n
Some FAANG components have been trading well, hitting new all-time highs in the process. On the flip side, others, like Apple and Amazon (AMZN) -Get Report havebeen biding their time.
\n
While Microsoft may not be included in FAANG, it might as well be given its size. The question now: Where does it go from here?
\n
After hitting its $2 trillion market cap, Microsoft received aprice target boost to $325from Wedbush analysts.
\n
The company has its Windows event coming up on Thursday and earnings in about a month. Those may be potential catalysts. With that, let’s look at the charts.
\n

\n
Daily chart of Microsoft stock. Chart courtesy of TrendSpider.com
\n
I love the way Microsoft has been trading. All year long, we’ve seen these big rallies gently top out, then give us a sharp yet mild correction into support.
\n
Those support levels have varied throughout 2021, but have generally been a combination of the 50-day and 21-week moving averages.
\n
Most recently in May and June, the 21-week moving average was strong support, generating significant rebounds on three different occasions. Where can it go from here?\n\nMicrosoft (MSFT) -Get Report topped a $2 trillion market cap on Tuesday, joining Apple (AAPL) -Get Report as the other U.S. company to hold such a value.\nEven though it’s trading better lately, Apple has been consolidating for the better part ofthree calendar quarters now, while Microsoft has slowly but surely continued to grind to new highs.\nThat’s been a divide in FAANG over the last six months or so.\nSome FAANG components have been trading well, hitting new all-time highs in the process. On the flip side, others, like Apple and Amazon (AMZN) -Get Report havebeen biding their time.\nWhile Microsoft may not be included in FAANG, it might as well be given its size. The question now: Where does it go from here?\nAfter hitting its $2 trillion market cap, Microsoft received aprice target boost to $325from Wedbush analysts.\nThe company has its Windows event coming up on Thursday and earnings in about a month. Those may be potential catalysts. With that, let’s look at the charts.\n\nDaily chart of Microsoft stock. Chart courtesy of TrendSpider.com\nI love the way Microsoft has been trading. All year long, we’ve seen these big rallies gently top out, then give us a sharp yet mild correction into support.\nThose support levels have varied throughout 2021, but have generally been a combination of the 50-day and 21-week moving averages.\nMost recently in May and June, the 21-week moving average was strong support, generating significant rebounds on three different occasions. The last bounce was enough to propel Microsoft to new all-time highs.\nThat’s after the stock cleared $263.19. From here, I would love to see Microsoft find support between $260 and $263.20, as well as from the 10-day moving average. If it does find these areas as support, dips to these measures could be short-term buying opportunities.\nA break of these measures could put the 21-day moving average in play, followed by the 50-day.\nPerhaps the company’s Windows event won’t be enough of a catalyst (given the leaks), but we could get a pre-earnings rally up to more news highs. For longer-term targets, I have my eye on the $278 to $285 range, which is where several key extensions come into play.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"MSFT":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":297,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":128042738,"gmtCreate":1624496468324,"gmtModify":1634005303394,"author":{"id":"3586664088792049","authorId":"3586664088792049","name":"ChingKeat","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0c4e7a5a95e073b890dc6bef918bd2b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3586664088792049","authorIdStr":"3586664088792049"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/128042738","repostId":"2145156570","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":209,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"hots":[{"id":805559987,"gmtCreate":1627893288849,"gmtModify":1633755528945,"author":{"id":"3586664088792049","authorId":"3586664088792049","name":"ChingKeat","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0c4e7a5a95e073b890dc6bef918bd2b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3586664088792049","authorIdStr":"3586664088792049"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Hi","listText":"Hi","text":"Hi","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":3,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/805559987","repostId":"1193646270","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1193646270","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1627891794,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1193646270?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-08-02 16:09","market":"us","language":"en","title":"NIO delivered 7,931 vehicles in July 2021, and rose 1% in premarket trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1193646270","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":" $NIO Inc.$ delivered 7,931 vehicles in July 2021, representing a strong 124.5% year-over-year growth. This movement coincided with an increase in the 10-year bond yield indicating inflation fears for investors. Supporting fears for inflation, the Consumer Price Indexdataannounced on Tuesday, July 13thwas thelargestyear-over-year jump since August 2008. That's really the pattern that we're seeing develop all across the world as people are starting to experiment,\" said Jared Spataro, corporate vice president for Microsoft 365 software.\nThe service is akin to so-called \"virtual\" and \"remote\" desktops that have been around for decades but which require a sophisticated IT department to set up and manage. Those costs can also be unpredictable because they are based on how much the desktops are used.\nMicrosoft hopes the Windows 365 technology will be easy enough for small-business owners or smaller schools to introduce without a large IT department, with a predictable monthly bill based on the size of each virtual computer.\nAndrew Hewitt, an analyst at Forrester Research, said the move would help Microsoft defend its dominant market share in the face of strong competition from operating systems from Apple Inc and Alphabet's Google that are easier for schools and businesses to manage.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"MSFT":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":117,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":176992600,"gmtCreate":1626852226700,"gmtModify":1633770406155,"author":{"id":"3586664088792049","authorId":"3586664088792049","name":"ChingKeat","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0c4e7a5a95e073b890dc6bef918bd2b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3586664088792049","authorIdStr":"3586664088792049"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice!","listText":"Nice!","text":"Nice!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/176992600","repostId":"1161131573","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1242,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":144600061,"gmtCreate":1626277348553,"gmtModify":1633928308830,"author":{"id":"3586664088792049","authorId":"3586664088792049","name":"ChingKeat","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0c4e7a5a95e073b890dc6bef918bd2b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3586664088792049","authorIdStr":"3586664088792049"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like!","listText":"Like!","text":"Like!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/144600061","repostId":"1191149542","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":196,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":147973874,"gmtCreate":1626331024998,"gmtModify":1633927787298,"author":{"id":"3586664088792049","authorId":"3586664088792049","name":"ChingKeat","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0c4e7a5a95e073b890dc6bef918bd2b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3586664088792049","authorIdStr":"3586664088792049"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great!","listText":"Great!","text":"Great!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/147973874","repostId":"1159456965","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1025,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":172075636,"gmtCreate":1626924164625,"gmtModify":1633769678011,"author":{"id":"3586664088792049","authorId":"3586664088792049","name":"ChingKeat","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0c4e7a5a95e073b890dc6bef918bd2b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3586664088792049","authorIdStr":"3586664088792049"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice!","listText":"Nice!","text":"Nice!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/172075636","repostId":"1170597291","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1170597291","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1626923172,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1170597291?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-07-22 Where can it ","content":"

The last bounce was enough to propel Microsoft to new all-time highs.
\n
That’s after the stock cleared $263.19. Where can it go from here?\n\nMicrosoft (MSFT) -Get Report topped a $2 trillion market cap on Tuesday, joining Apple (AAPL) -Get Report as the other U.S. company to hold such a value.\nEven though it’s trading better lately, Apple has been consolidating for the better part ofthree calendar quarters now, while Microsoft has slowly but surely continued to grind to new highs.\nThat’s been a divide in FAANG over the last six months or so.\nSome FAANG components have been trading well, hitting new all-time highs in the process. On the flip side, others, like Apple and Amazon (AMZN) -Get Report havebeen biding their time.\nWhile Microsoft may not be included in FAANG, it might as well be given its size. The question now: Where does it go from here?\nAfter hitting its $2 trillion market cap, Microsoft received aprice target boost to $325from Wedbush analysts.\nThe company has its Windows event coming up on Thursday and earnings in about a month. Those may be potential catalysts. With that, let’s look at the charts.\n\nDaily chart of Microsoft stock. Chart courtesy of TrendSpider.com\nI love the way Microsoft has been trading. All year long, we’ve seen these big rallies gently top out, then give us a sharp yet mild correction into support.\nThose support levels have varied throughout 2021, but have generally been a combination of the 50-day and 21-week moving averages.\nMost recently in May and June, the 21-week moving average was strong support, generating significant rebounds on three different occasions. The last bounce was enough to propel Microsoft to new all-time highs.\nThat’s after the stock cleared $263.19. From here, I would love to see Microsoft find support between $260 and $263.20, as well as from the 10-day moving average. If it does find these areas as support, dips to these measures could be short-term buying opportunities.\nA break of these measures could put the 21-day moving average in play, followed by the 50-day.\nPerhaps the company’s Windows event won’t be enough of a catalyst (given the leaks), but we could get a pre-earnings rally up to more news highs. For longer-term targets, I have my eye on the $278 to $285 range, which is where several key extensions come into play.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"MSFT":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":297,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":128042738,"gmtCreate":1624496468324,"gmtModify":1634005303394,"author":{"id":"3586664088792049","authorId":"3586664088792049","name":"ChingKeat","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0c4e7a5a95e073b890dc6bef918bd2b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3586664088792049","authorIdStr":"3586664088792049"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/128042738","repostId":"2145156570","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":209,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
