He covers the technology sector and has a success rate of over 60% on his recommendations. Additionally, Mahaney has an average return of 43% within TipRanks.</p>\n<p><b>TipRanks Price Targets for NFLX</b></p>\n<p>According to TipRanks, based on 31 analysts who cover NFLX, the average target share price is $678. This already suggests a great upside potential of around 12% from the current price. On average, the stock is rated a moderate buy.</p>\n<p>The highest reported price target is $800, which points to potential gains of over 30% ahead. Such a high valuation probably takes into account Netflix remaining the market leader of the streaming sector in coming years. To do that, it will have to stay ahead of its biggest competitors, Disney&nbsp;and Amazon.</p>\n<p>The lowest NFLX price target on TipRanks is $342, which would represent a loss of more than 40%.</p>\n<p>Of all 31 ratings on NFLX, 24 analysts label the stock a buy, four indicate you should hold, and three recommend selling.</p>\n<p><b>Our Take</b></p>\n<p>Even after Netflix's big stock rally last fall, we still see room for appreciation. This year, that Santa Claus Rally window is set to start on Monday, Dec. 27 — or the latest a Santa Claus rally has started in 11 years, due to the timing of the holidays this year.</p>\n<p>According to data from LPL Financial, the Santa Claus Rally period encapsulates the seven days most likely to be higher in any given year. Since 1950, the Santa Claus Rally period has produced a positive return for the S&amp;P 500 78.9% of the time, with an average return of 1.33%.</p>\n<p>“Why are these seven days so strong?” wrote Ryan Detrick, LPL Financial chief market strategist, in a note. “Whether optimism over a coming new year, holiday spending, traders on vacation, institutions squaring up their books — or the holiday spirit — the bottom line is that bulls tend to believe in Santa.”</p>\n<p>And if history is any indication, the absence of a Santa Claus Rally has also typically served as a harbinger of lower near-term returns.</p>\n<p>\"Going back to the mid-1990s, there have been only six times Santa failed to show in December. January was lower five of those six times, and the full year had a solid gain only once (in 2016, but a mini-bear market early in the year),\" Detrick added.</p>\n<p>“Considering the bear markets of 2000 and 2008 both took place after <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a> of the rare instances that Santa failed to show makes believers out of us,\" he said. A bear market typically refers to when stocks drop at least 20% from recent record highs. \"Should this seasonally strong period miss the mark, it could be a warning sign.\"</p>\n<p>And this year, investors do have considerable additional concerns to mull heading into the new year. Though stocks closed out Thursday's session at fresh record highs before the long holiday weekend, December still marked a volatile month to start, with renewed concerns over the Omicron variant and the potential for tighter monetary policy from the Federal Reserve weighing on risk assets. Plus, prospects for more near-term fiscal support via the Biden administration's Build Back Better bill have dwindled, and inflation concerns spiked further. This year, that Santa Claus Rally window is set to start on Monday, Dec. 27 — or the latest a Santa Claus rally has started in 11 years, due to the timing of the holidays this year.\nAccording to data from LPL Financial, the Santa Claus Rally period encapsulates the seven days most likely to be higher in any given year. Since 1950, the Santa Claus Rally period has produced a positive return for the S&P 500 78.9% of the time, with an average return of 1.33%.\n“Why are these seven days so strong?” wrote Ryan Detrick, LPL Financial chief market strategist, in a note. “Whether optimism over a coming new year, holiday spending, traders on vacation, institutions squaring up their books — or the holiday spirit — the bottom line is that bulls tend to believe in Santa.”\nAnd if history is any indication, the absence of a Santa Claus Rally has also typically served as a harbinger of lower near-term returns.\n\"Going back to the mid-1990s, there have been only six times Santa failed to show in December. January was lower five of those six times, and the full year had a solid gain only once (in 2016, but a mini-bear market early in the year),\" Detrick added.\n“Considering the bear markets of 2000 and 2008 both took place after one of the rare instances that Santa failed to show makes believers out of us,\" he said. A bear market typically refers to when stocks drop at least 20% from recent record highs. \"Should this seasonally strong period miss the mark, it could be a warning sign.\"\nAnd this year, investors do have considerable additional concerns to mull heading into the new year. Though stocks closed out Thursday's session at fresh record highs before the long holiday weekend, December still marked a volatile month to start, with renewed concerns over the Omicron variant and the potential for tighter monetary policy from the Federal Reserve weighing on risk assets. Plus, prospects for more near-term fiscal support via the Biden administration's Build Back Better bill have dwindled, and inflation concerns spiked further. If you look at Glassdoor, it appears that there's a strong workplace culture: 93% of people would recommend the company to a friend, 96% of people approve of the CEO. I think that's especially important for a consulting company. Globant's business is built around helping organizations implement and scale new technologies, operate more efficiently, improve the customer experience. That's going to be difficult if your employees don't like coming to work every day.</p>\n<p>Then, the company's has also received some recognition that speak to the success that it's having. Globant is one of the top five fastest-growing engineering services companies based on a report from Everest Group. It's also a leader and customer experience improvement services based on a report from the International Data Corporation.</p>\n<p>The financial results look great here, too. Over the last year, $1.2 billion in revenue up 50%; $2.07 per diluted share on the bottom line, up 64%. They also have over 1,000 customers now. They grew their customer base 14%. But the customers spending over $1 million, they have 162 of those customers now -- that's up 37%. It's nice to see them ramping spend from their customer base there.</p>\n<p>Then between 2022 and 2024, according to the International Data Corporation, enterprises around the world will spend $6.3 trillion on the digital transformation initiatives. This is just a massive market opportunity. I think having that founder CEO there, I think he's really taken the company in a good direction. He also increased his estimate for sales of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine next year to $30 billion, from his previous estimate of $23 billion.</p>\n<p>That would briefly put Pfizer in the rarefied club of&nbsp;S&amp;P 500&nbsp;companies that clock more than $100 billion per year in revenue, including Walmart&nbsp;(WMT),Amazon&nbsp;(AMZN),Apple&nbsp;(APPL), and&nbsp;CVS Health&nbsp;(CVS).</p>\n<p>What’s more, it would leave the company with an enormous war chest by the end of 2022. Porges expects Pfizer to have a cash and marketable securities balance of $59.5 billion by the end of 2022—or $76.1 billion assuming it sells its interest in the consumer healthcare business that&nbsp;GlaxoSmithKline&nbsp;(GSK) is spinning out next year.</p>\n<p>With $76.1 billion burning a hole in its corporate pocket, Pfizer would have the firepower to buy just about anything it wanted to next year. That could create an interesting guessing game for investors. It could also potentially heat up the large-cap biotech market, particularly amid speculation that&nbsp;Novartis&nbsp;(NVS) is also looking for a big-ticket purchase, after selling a stake in&nbsp;Roche Holding&nbsp;(RHHBY) worth more than $20 billion.</p>\n<p>In his Tuesday note, Porges increased his target price on Pfizer stock to $52, from a previous $48. He maintained his Market Perform rating on the stock. Pfizer shares closed at $51.20 on Monday and were down 0.3% in premarket trading on Tuesday. The stock is up 39.1% so far this year.</p>\n<p>Earlier this month, <i>Barron’s</i>argued in a magazine feature that the apparent efficacy of Pfizer’s Covid-19 antiviral showed that the bet that the company had taken on its own science was a good one, and that the stock was a good long-term investment.</p>\n<p>Porges’ estimates are well beyond the FactSet analyst consensus estimates, which have Pfizer reporting $81.5 billion in revenues in 2022, and $66 billion in 2023. Porges wrote that his forecasts for sales of the antiviral, known as Paxlovid, are based on historical stockpiling of flu antivirals between 2005 and 2007.</p>\n<p>“Merck and Pfizer have announced contracts to supply their antivirals to the U.S. government worth $2.2bn (3.1mm courses) and $5.29bn (10mm courses), respectively for 2022, and we expect many more contracts in the coming months,” Porges wrote. “The first two contracts are sufficient for 46% of the cases of COVID that have been diagnosed so far in 2021, and if consigned to stockpiling, would cover only 4% of the U.S. population.”</p>\n<p>The Food and Drug Administration has scheduled an advisory committee hearing to consider authorization of&nbsp;Merck‘s (MRK) Covid-19 antiviral at the end of November. In a race to disrupt residential real estate, one of the largest markets in the world, Opendoor's long-term potential could bring big returns for patient investors.</p>\n<p>Despite the upside, the market hasn't yet appreciated Opendoor's accomplishments; the stock is down more than 50% from its highs. There are three important clues that Opendoor could be a compelling investment idea for bold investors.</p>\n<h3>1. Opendoor is winning the iBuying battle</h3>\n<p>The traditional home-buying process in the United States is slow and handled by multiple parties, including agents, lawyers, inspectors, and bankers. This creates a lot of back and forth paperwork and drags the process out to more than 30 days, on average.</p>\n<p>Opendoor pioneered the concept of \"iBuying,\" where the buying and selling of a house are digitized, and a company like Opendoor works directly with sellers to provide them with a cash offer and a digital closing process. The company then resells the house on the market. The iBuying process cuts out agents and some of the fees associated with traditional closings, such as agent commissions. Opendoor then resells the house on the market and charges a service fee of up to 5% on the transaction.</p>\n<p>After seeing Opendoor steadily grow with its iBuying concept, competitors have also begun to offer iBuying services, including&nbsp;<b>Zillow Group</b>&nbsp;and Offerpad. Because of how capital intensive the business is (a lot of money is needed to buy and sell thousands of houses) and how price competitive the housing market is, these companies are racing to get as big as possible. As the companies buy and sell more homes, they have the ability to become more profitable by leveraging outsourced contractors to save money, and its pricing algorithm improves as it sees more transactions.</p>\n<p>According to iBuyerStats, a website dedicated to tracking the competitors found in iBuying, Opendoor has consistently had the most housing inventory available for sale. It currently has roughly 3,300 houses for sale, 53% more than Zillow and more than four times as many as Offerpad.</p>\n<h3>2. Revenue growth is ahead of schedule</h3>\n<p>When companies go public viaSPACmerger, they lay out a public presentation of their business, often including long-term growth projections. Opendoor laid out its pre-merger investor presentation about a year ago, in September 2020.</p>\n<p>Fast forward to the company's recent 2021 Q2 earnings call. CEO and founder Eric Wu said on the earnings call, \"... based on our current progress, our second half revenue run rate is on track to exceed our 2023 target, a full two years ahead of plan.\"</p>\n<p>In other words, if Opendoor were to operate for 12 months at the level the business currently is, it would surpass the $9.8 billion in revenue it projected for 2023. This is an underlooked point because if Opendoor is already two years ahead of its original growth curve, where will it be by 2023? Sure, a dip in the housing market or other events could disrupt the company's speed of growth, but Opendoor is showing the world that the business is operating at a high level.</p>\n<h3>3. SPACs are out of favor with the market... opportunity?</h3>\n<p>Investors have overlooked this strong performance, focusing instead on the fact that Opendoor joined the public market via SPAC merger. It has hardly mattered what operating results or earnings have looked like for former SPACs; the stock market has been selling off virtually all SPAC-based stocks for several months now.</p>\n<p>Investors have been spooked by a handful of \"bad apple\" companies turning up fraudulent, and other companies have wildly missed on the projections they made before going public. These instances have burned those involved, and investors have taken a much more cautious attitude toward SPACs as a whole.</p>\n<p>But if companies like Opendoor keep blowing away estimates, the market is likely to come around eventually. When it does, the stock price could move aggressively. If we take Eric Wu's comments about revenue and assume that Opendoor does sales of $10 billion in 2022 (in other words, Opendoor stops growing and maintains its current pace over the following year), the stock currently trades at aprice-to-sales(P/S) ratio of just 1.0. That's a bargain-bin valuation.</p>\n<p>Competitor Zillow Group trades at a P/S ratio of more than 3, reflecting Opendoor's discount as a former SPAC.</p>\n<h3>Here's the bottom line</h3>\n<p>Real estate is a huge market, and it's a complicated industry because of the clash between traditional agents and the \"new kids\" on the block trying to bring technology into homebuying.
