Let's think like a short

$Vinco Ventures, Inc.(BBIG)$ Let's think like a short. I have real shares that are short that I need to cover or risk a margin call if this explodes with momentum next week. I also have naked shares that I need to cover as well. If I cover the real shares I too get the dividend but I have to buy the dividend for the shareholder. What to do? I cover the real shares and use the spin off shares to pay those that I owe on my naked shares. I think I'll buy out of the money puts cheap as a hedge on my naked shares and by out of the money calls Monday that expire Friday. My covering of real shares adds buying pressure which adds value to my calls. I sell the calls for profit to cover my naked shares. There I'm good.
