Yet, PLTR stock has lost ground in the past two months.\nSource: Ascannio / Shutterstock.com\nTrading at $23 and change, I’m wondering if this is the bottom or could investors do better by waiting until it falls into the teens.If you’re an aggressive investor, I think you do both.\nThe last time I wrote about Palantir was July 27. Then, although I had a problem (and still do) with CEO Alex Karp’s compensation, I wasgenerally upbeatabout the data analytics software company.\n“I wouldn’t personally invest because of my distaste for excessive CEO compensation. But the side bets [the company’s 14 SPAC investments] can provide an equity kicker similar to what you might get from debt financing,” I wrote in July.“If and when its price reaches the teens, PLTR stock will be an excellent buy.”\nOf course, I wrote those words before the company delivered a home run in the second quarter. Palantirbeat the analyst revenue estimatesfor the second quarter. Even better, it expects 2021 full-year adjusted free cash flow (FCF) above $300 million, up from its previous guidance of $150 million.\nThe company’s foundation is getting stronger through many of its moves to grow its commercial, non-governmental business. In Q2 2021, it grew commercial revenue by 90% year-over-year, while its commercial customer count jumped 32% year-over-year.\nIt finished the first half of 2021 with $201 million FCF and an FCF margin of 28%. Annually, from 2021 through 2025, it expects to grow revenues by 30% or more.\nIn 2020, it had$1.1 billionin sales. At 30% year-over-year growth, 2021 sales should be $1.43 billion with an FCF margin of 21% or higher.\nSo, based on an adjusted full-year FCF of $300 million and a current market capitalization of $45.2 billion, it has an FCF yield of less than 1%.\nThat’s not in the ballpark for value investors.\nThe Intangibles\nAs I discussed in my last article, Palantir holds minority investments in a large number of SPACs (special purpose acquisition companies). In fact, it’s invested$310 millionin 14 different SPACs to date.\nOn Sep. 1, Palantir announced that it would make an equity investment inBlackSky Technology(NYSE:BKSY)— operates a technology platform for geospatial intelligence monitoring — after BlackSkycompleted its mergerwithOsprey Technology Acquisition Corp.on Sept. 9.\nAll 14 of these investments aren’t just financial investments. They also include arrangements to work together. Some believe the company is buying revenue with the investments.\nHowever, suppose one or two turn out as successful asShopify’s(NYSE:SHOP)$2-billionwindfall from investing inAffirm Holdings(NASDAQ:AFRM). In that case, I don’t think investors will be too concerned about any allegations of revenue stuffing.\nThe Bottom Line on PLTR Stock\nPalantir is growing its two operating segments, with or without these 14 SPAC investments. So forget about them and focus on its core business.\nIf you believe that it can sustain 30% year-over-year revenue growth, a purchase now, with funds set aside in case it falls into the teens, makes sense for the aggressive investor.\nInvestorPlace’sChris Lau recently discussed how Palantir is transforming industries, butits stock isn’t cheap at 40x sales. That said, he believes that an investment in PLTR makes sense.\n“Palantir looks like a risk-free investment. The stock has low volatility, and many investors seem to be confident that the company’s contracts will be renewed at higher rates. As Palantir adds more customers in more markets, its potential revenue will increase,” Lau wrote on Oct. 2.\nMy colleague values PLTR at $28. It trades today at a little more than $23.\nAs I said, if you’re an aggressive investor, buy some now, and watch to see if it retreats into the teens. If it does, back up the truck and buy more.\nLong-term, Palantir appears to be playing in the right sandbox for significant gains.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"PLTR":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3574,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":823119635,"gmtCreate":1633597539314,"gmtModify":1633597539537,"author":{"id":"3561626499477725","authorId":"3561626499477725","name":"LEEPK","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/797bbc4f6e8194fe6be369618bc544f5","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3561626499477725","idStr":"3561626499477725"},"themes":[],"title":"","htmlText":"like A good portfolio management strategy will automatically ensure that“stop-loss”levels get triggered, exposure decreases, and cash levels rise when the selling begins.\nWhile it is essential to take advantage of the melt-up while it lasts, just don’t become overly complacent“this time is different.”\nIt likely isn’t.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{".DJI":0.9,".SPX":0.9,"SPY":0.9,".IXIC":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":768,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":882039517,"gmtCreate":1631629874139,"gmtModify":1631892847745,"author":{"id":"3561626499477725","authorId":"3561626499477725","name":"LEEPK","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/797bbc4f6e8194fe6be369618bc544f5","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3561626499477725","authorIdStr":"3561626499477725"},"themes":[],"title":"","htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":10,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/882039517","repostId":"1155175288","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1155175288","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1631627144,"share":"https://www.laohunote.com/m/news/1155175288?lang=zh_CN&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-09-14 21:45","market":"us","language":"en","title":"EV stocks rose in morning trading
电动汽车股票早盘上涨
","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1155175288","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"EV stocks rose in morning trading.Tesla,Nio,Xpeng Motors and Li Auto climbed between 0.7% and 2%.Whi","content":"
EV stocks rose in morning trading.Tesla,Nio,Xpeng Motors and Li Auto climbed between 0.7% and 2%.While Lucid Group fell nearly 4% as an equity research analyst at Morgan Stanley initiated coverage of the company at underweight.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Yet, PLTR stock has lost ground in the past two months.\nSource: Ascannio / Shutterstock.com\nTrading at $23 and change, I’m wondering if this is the bottom or could investors do better by waiting until it falls into the teens.If you’re an aggressive investor, I think you do both.\nThe last time I wrote about Palantir was July 27. If it does, back up the truck and buy more.\nLong-term, Palantir appears to be playing in the right sandbox for significant gains.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"PLTR":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3574,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":829349806,"gmtCreate":1633476931636,"gmtModify":1633476931824,"author":{"id":"3561626499477725","authorId":"3561626499477725","name":"LEEPK","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/797bbc4f6e8194fe6be369618bc544f5","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3561626499477725","authorIdStr":"3561626499477725"},"themes":[],"title":"","htmlText":"like ","listText":"like ","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/829349806","repostId":"1194519706","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":854,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":820792116,"gmtCreate":1633428779212,"gmtModify":1633428779388,"author":{"id":"3561626499477725","authorId":"3561626499477725","name":"LEEPK","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/797bbc4f6e8194fe6be369618bc544f5","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3561626499477725","authorIdStr":"3561626499477725"},"themes":[],"title":"","htmlText":"like ","listText":"like ","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/820792116","repostId":"1123059117","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1123059117","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1633428131,"share":"https://www.laohunote.com/m/news/1123059117?lang=zh_CN&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-10-05 18:02","market":"sh","language":"en","title":"Nobel Prize in physics awarded to Syukuro Manabe, Klaus Hasselmann and Giorgio Parisi
诺贝尔物理学奖授予真锅许郎、克劳斯·哈塞尔曼和乔治·帕里西
","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1123059117","media":"CNN","summary":"The Nobel Prize in physics has been awarded to Syukuro Manabe, Klaus Hasselmann and Giorgio Parisi.\n","content":"
The Nobel Prize in physics has been awarded to Syukuro Manabe, Klaus Hasselmann and Giorgio Parisi.

诺贝尔物理学奖授予了真锅许郎、克劳斯·哈塞尔曼和乔治·帕里西。

The 2021 award goes to the three scientists for groundbreaking work in predicting global warming and for the understanding of complex physical systems.

2021年的奖项授予三位科学家,以表彰他们在预测全球变暖和理解复杂物理系统方面的开创性工作。

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html;
