POINTS\n\nCramer is betting many people will maintain some pandemic routines as Covid-19 health restrictions ease and more offices reopen.\nBecause of this, Cramer recommended investors gain exposure to the hybrid economy.\n\nCNBC’s Jim Cramer revealed on Wednesday a handful of stocks he thinks will do well in the emerging “hybrid world.”\nThe “Mad Money” host is betting many people will maintain some pandemic routines as Covid-19 health restrictions ease and more offices reopen in the coming months. Because of this, Cramer recommended investors gain exposure to the hybrid economy.\n“We’re headed for a hybrid world where stay-at-home habits have staying power, but you also have the ability to go out and do things,” he said. “You have to stick with the stocks that win either way.”\nCramer pointed out the following stock picks as hybrid plays:\n\nHome Depot\nLowe’s\nWalmart\nStanley Black & Decker\nWilliams-Sonoma\nMcCormick\nEtsy\n\nAll but two of Cramer’s picks have rallied double digits this year, outperforming the broader market. Williams-Sonoma is the biggest gainer in the group, up more than 75%. Walmart and McCormick are down 3% and nearly 7%, respectively, in 2021.\nCramer’s recommendations came after the S&P 500 eked out a record close on Wednesday.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":624,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":343428056,"gmtCreate":1617751090275,"gmtModify":1634296794247,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Yay","listText":"Yay","text":"Yay","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/343428056","repostId":"2125715004","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1251,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":343061314,"gmtCreate":1617664047238,"gmtModify":1634297304695,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Tesla is amazing","listText":"Tesla is amazing","text":"Tesla is amazing","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/343061314","repostId":"1123709980","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":493,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":340496550,"gmtCreate":1617445319670,"gmtModify":1634520919756,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Go strong","listText":"Go strong","text":"Go strong","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/340496550","repostId":"1121666420","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1121666420","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1617365764,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1121666420?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-04-02 20:16","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Wall Street Has Given Up on These 3 Stocks, and That's a Huge Mistake","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1121666420","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"It's never a bad time to search for beaten-down stocks that are profitable on paper.Searching forval","content":"
It's never a bad time to search for beaten-down stocks that are profitable on paper.

Searching forvalue stocksis pretty simple: Find financially robust companies that have performed poorly from a share price perspective, and buy them when they're down. Perhaps the bigger surprise is the stock you might expect them to both own that they don't. Let's take a look at the two companies in question and what these successful investors must see.

The surprising stock they both own

First, it's doubtful that Warren Buffett actually boughtSnowflake(NYSE:SNOW), the cloud data warehouse-as-a-service company. In recent years, lieutenants Todd Combs and Ted Weschler have been making more of the investment decisions, and the $750 million in stockBerkshireHathaway(NYSE:BRK.A)(NYSE:BRK.B)purchased before theinitial public offering (IPO)certainly doesn't match the investment style of the legendary nonagenarian. In fact, Buffett hasn't bought an IPO sinceFord in 1956. The company does fit the style of Cathie Wood at ARK Invest, a global asset management company focused on disruptive innovation. That said, Snowflake is putting up numbers that would get any investor's attention.

The company recently reported its full fiscal year earnings, and the growth was jaw-dropping. Fourth-quarter revenue of $178 million was up 116% year over year. Topping that, remaining performance obligations, what customers have signed on to buy, was up 213% over the same point last year. The company has 77 customers that spend more than $1 million per year. That number is up from 65 just three months earlier. Management is projecting between 92% and 96% revenue growth for the current year. Snowflake posted an operating margin of negative 92%. Losing money never sounds good, but that is closer to profitability than the negative 135% for the year ending January 2020 or the negative 192% in 2019. If the company really wanted to turn a profit it could just curb its spending on sales and marketing.

It may not be a typical Buffett stock, but Snowflake definitely fits the mold of Wood's investments. The ARK founder has become synonymous with innovation, building a portfolio around futuristic themes such as genomics, space exploration, mobility-as-a-service, and the next-generation internet. It's the last theme, encompassing artificial intelligence and cloud computing, where Snowflake fits. The company's pay-as-you-consume, real-time access to data and analytical tools is a giant leap forward compared to the slow, bogged-down daily or weekly updates companies have long come to accept with managing their internal data warehouses.

Another stock in ARK's portfolio touches both the data-related and genomic revolution strategy. Based on his other holdings, it's actually surprising Buffett doesn't own it too.

The surprising stock they don't both own

The Oracle of Omaha has been buying up the stocks of pharmaceutical companies in the past year. In the third quarter of 2020 he added shares ofPfizer(NYSE:PFE),AbbVie(NYSE:ABBV),Merck(NYSE:MRK), andBristolMyersSquibb(NYSE:BMY). Every member of that group gives investors between 3% and 5% in dividends annually. Other than Bristol Myers, they all hover around a $200 billion market cap as well, and Bristol Myers is nearly as large at $136 billion. Similarly,Novartis(NYSE:NVS)is a $211 billion company yielding 3.8%. Perhaps the reason Buffett hasn't bought this big pharma stock is that it is a Swiss company. It turns out, Buffett favors American brands in food, cola, and apparently drugmakers.

Novartis did catch the eye of Wood, thanks to its work toward developing a leading digital and data science platform for drug discovery. Although it isn't a pure play on any of ARK's strategies, Wood considers it a deep value pick, to be held through a bull market and then sold in times of volatility to add to higher-conviction growth names that get beaten down.

Portfolio juxtaposition

It may be counterintuitive for an investor who prides himself on unemotional investing to buy into one of the hottest IPOs of last year, but once Snowflake started trading, the investment doubled almost immediately. Similarly, few would think someone famous for a $4,000 price target onTeslaand presentations that literally map out the future of entire industries would own a nearly 4% dividend paying pharmaceutical company with no growth. However, there is a great lesson in these examples.

Don't settle for the labels Wall Street places on companies or investors. Value and growth are just words. Investors may have tendencies that define them in the public eye, but that oversimplification may obscure the characteristics that draw their interest in an investment. Although Buffett likely didn't buy shares of Snowflake, it may have been the customer loyalty, leadership team, and consistent march toward profitability that made Combs or Weschler comfortable buying Snowflake shares. Wood may have a lot of fast-growing companies that don't make a profit, but it's the innovation that compels her to invest, not just growth rate. In the case of Novartis, innovation came in the form of a mega-cap pharmaceutical company.

Instead of focusing on the labels Wall Street slaps on a company or following Warren Buffett or Cathie Wood into the stock, try to identify the characteristics of the business that they find compelling. Try approaching the company as if you were going to inherit it, learning how dedicated customers are, where money gets spent to attract new ones, or what advantages it has over competitors. These answers will lead to a more informed investment decision and better outcomes over time.

It turns out, both Snowflake and Novartis are compelling to different types of investors for a variety of reasons. Exploring those reasons can teach us a lot more about investing than focusing solely on who owns them. The more we know about a company, the easier it is to figure out whether the nextsell-off is something to fear or a great opportunity.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
1 Stock Warren Buffett and Cathie Wood Have in Common and 1 They Should
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n1 Stock Warren Buffett and Cathie Wood Have in Common and 1 They Should\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-03-19 21:52 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
It might be a surprise to find out that two investors with virtually opposite approaches -- one who invests in large, cheap, iconic companies and the other who rose to fame on the heels of her ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{},"source_url":"https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/03/19/1-stock-warren-buffett-and-cathie-wood-have-in-com/","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1190757715","content_text":"It might be a surprise to find out that two investors with virtually opposite approaches -- one who invests in large, cheap, iconic companies and the other who rose to fame on the heels of her outlandishly bullish (and accurate) predictions about \"overvalued\" stocks -- would have the same company in their portfolios. However, there is a great lesson in these examples.Don't settle for the labels Wall Street places on companies or investors. In the case of Novartis, innovation came in the form of a mega-cap pharmaceutical company.Instead of focusing on the labels Wall Street slaps on a company or following Warren Buffett or Cathie Wood into the stock, try to identify the characteristics of the business that they find compelling. Try approaching the company as if you were going to inherit it, learning how dedicated customers are, where money gets spent to attract new ones, or what advantages it has over competitors. These answers will lead to a more informed investment decision and better outcomes over time.It turns out, both Snowflake and Novartis are compelling to different types of investors for a variety of reasons. Exploring those reasons can teach us a lot more about investing than focusing solely on who owns them. The more we know about a company, the easier it is to figure out whether the nextsell-off is something to fear or a great opportunity.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":237,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":350879396,"gmtCreate":1616195865815,"gmtModify":1634526815401,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good job","listText":"Good job","text":"Good job","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/350879396","repostId":"1136440314","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":394,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":327535588,"gmtCreate":1616108954244,"gmtModify":1634527236652,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great","listText":"Great","text":"Great","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/327535588","repostId":"1104101782","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1104101782","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1616080514,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1104101782?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-03-18 23:15","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Is Now The Time To Buy Stock In Sundial Growers, AMC, Lordstown Or American Airlines?","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1104101782","media":"Benzinga","summary":"One of the most common questions traders have about stocks is “Why Is It Moving?”\nThat’s why Benzing","content":"
One of the most common questions traders have about stocks is “Why Is It Moving?”
\n
That’s why Benzinga created the Why Is It Moving, or WIIM, feature inBenzinga Pro. Shares ofAMC Entertainment Holdings(NYSE:AM","content":"
Last week was huge for the two most popular meme stocks. Shares ofAMC Entertainment Holdings(NYSE:AMC)andGameStop(NYSE:GME)soared 39% and 92% higher for the week, respectively. If this were late January, we would attribute the pops to Reddit-fueled short squeezes for fundamentally flawed nostalgia stocks, but things are different this time.
\n
On one hand, short interest has contracted dramatically for the multiplex operator and video game retailer over the past two months. There are fewer naysayers betting against the meme stocks to squeeze out. However, unlike the original frenzied rally earlier this year that blindsided shorts with its ferocity, this time around there are actually positive business catalysts triggering the renewed market interest in AMC Entertainment and GameStop.
\n

\n
\n
AMC goes Hollywood
\n
More AMC locations continue to fire up their projectors, and later today a pair of iconic Los Angeles movie theaters will reopen after a yearlong shutdown. AMC expects nearly all of its 56 multiplexes in California to be open by Friday, as long as local approvals are secured. With New York City reopening its theaters earlier this month, we finally have AMC serving the country's two largest markets for the first time since mid-March of last year.
\n
AMC isn't exactly at full strength yet, though. Audiences are limited to between 20% and 40% of a theater's capacity, and to be fair that's not what's really keeping numbers down. Box office receipts across all theater chains fell 92% last month relative to February of last year, and that's pretty much where ticket sales have been for thepast five months. Folks aren't comfortable returning to even largely empty theaters in the pandemic. A lack of exclusive content is also hurting, as three of this year's four highest-grossing movies --Tom and Jerry,Wonder Woman 1984, andRaya and the Last Dragon-- were available to stream at home the same day they hit local multiplexes.
\n
Things should get better on all fronts. Just 11% of the country is now fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, but nearly twice as many folks have already received the first dose. More than a third of all seniors are now fully vaccinated. The percentages will improve, and President Biden has said that there should be enough vaccines on hand to cover all adults by the end of May.
\n
There's also encouraging news of movie buffs flocking to theater chains in markets outside the U.S. market.AvatarovertookAvengers: Endgamein worldwide gross over the weekend, a seemingly throwaway stat of the planet's two highest grossing films if not for the fact that it happened because the reissue ofAvatarin China raked in $21 million in ticket sales. A single old movie scored more box office receipts in China than all U.S. ticket sales combined this past weekend.
\n
One can argue that things have changed closer to home. Hollywood has fully embraced digital streaming alternatives, andmedia stocksare hitting fresh highs these days because the market appreciates the potential of the direct-to-consumer platforms that they're feeding. We'll find out more where consumers are at when studios start cranking out the tentpole releases that they have pushed out into this summer and beyond. AMC's prospects of surviving are ultimately brighter now than they were a week ago.
\n

\n
\n
GameStop plays a new game
\n
The catalyst for the video game retailer came early in the week. GameStop announced that it wasstarting a new Strategic Planning and Capital Allocation Committee, chaired by board member and Chewy co-founder Ryan Cohen. He would be joined by two fellow activist board members in championing an e-commerce makeover.
\n
It isn't a new thing for GameStop to go digital. Shares ofAMC Entertainment Holdings(NYSE:AMC)andGameStop(NYSE:GME)soared 39% and 92% higher for the week, respectively. If this were late January, we would attribute the pops to Reddit-fueled short squeezes for fundamentally flawed nostalgia stocks, but things are different this time.\nOn one hand, short interest has contracted dramatically for the multiplex operator and video game retailer over the past two months. There are fewer naysayers betting against the meme stocks to squeeze out. However, unlike the original frenzied rally earlier this year that blindsided shorts with its ferocity, this time around there are actually positive business catalysts triggering the renewed market interest in AMC Entertainment and GameStop.\n\nIMAGE SOURCE: GETTY IMAGES.\nAMC goes Hollywood\nMore AMC locations continue to fire up their projectors, and later today a pair of iconic Los Angeles movie theaters will reopen after a yearlong shutdown. AMC expects nearly all of its 56 multiplexes in California to be open by Friday, as long as local approvals are secured. With New York City reopening its theaters earlier this month, we finally have AMC serving the country's two largest markets for the first time since mid-March of last year.\nAMC isn't exactly at full strength yet, though. A lack of exclusive content is also hurting, as three of this year's four highest-grossing movies --Tom and Jerry,Wonder Woman 1984, andRaya and the Last Dragon-- were available to stream at home the same day they hit local multiplexes.\nThings should get better on all fronts. Just 11% of the country is now fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, but nearly twice as many folks have already received the first dose. More than a third of all seniors are now fully vaccinated. The percentages will improve, and President Biden has said that there should be enough vaccines on hand to cover all adults by the end of May.\nThere's also encouraging news of movie buffs flocking to theater chains in markets outside the U.S. market.AvatarovertookAvengers: Endgamein worldwide gross over the weekend, a seemingly throwaway stat of the planet's two highest grossing films if not for the fact that it happened because the reissue ofAvatarin China raked in $21 million in ticket sales. A single old movie scored more box office receipts in China than all U.S. ticket sales combined this past weekend.\nOne can argue that things have changed closer to home. AMC's prospects of surviving are ultimately brighter now than they were a week ago.\n\nIMAGE SOURCE: GAMESTOP.\nGameStop plays a new game\nThe catalyst for the video game retailer came early in the week. GameStop announced that it wasstarting a new Strategic Planning and Capital Allocation Committee, chaired by board member and Chewy co-founder Ryan Cohen. He would be joined by two fellow activist board members in championing an e-commerce makeover.\nIt isn't a new thing for GameStop to go digital. The chain has tied to make a play for the direct-to-consumer market before. However, with fresh eyes -- and a brand that became a lot more ubiquitous in recent weeks -- GameStop has a fighting chance.\nBears will argue that the valuations make even less sense for both AMC and GameStop stock after last week's surge. However, it's refreshing to see the stocks move higher on positive developments rather than just speculative crowdsourcing.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":276,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":322903377,"gmtCreate":1615763243699,"gmtModify":1703492545526,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Tell me your opinion about this news...","listText":"Tell me your opinion about this news...","text":"Tell me your opinion about this news...","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/322903377","repostId":"1114441743","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1114441743","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1615562490,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1114441743?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-03-12 23:21","market":"us","language":"en","title":"AT&T raises HBO Max subscriber forecast, sees 120 million to 150 million by the end of 2025","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1114441743","media":"cnbc","summary":"KEY POINTS\n\nAT&T said it now expects global subscribers of between 120 million and 150 million for H","content":"
\n
KEY POINTS\n\nAT&T said it now expects global subscribers of between 120 million and 150 million for HBO Max and HBO by the end of 2025.\nBack in October 2019, the company set a goal of hitting 50 ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n","source":"cnbc_highlight","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; That makes Coupang the largest IPO in the U.S. this year and one of the top 25 biggest listings of all time stateside, by deal size.

The price is also above the company’s most recent expected range of between $32 and $34 a share.

Market leader

Yoo explained that the valuation and IPO price likely rose because Coupang is the only e-commerce company in South Korea that showed a sizeable gain in market share last year. He said its market size rose from 18.1% in 2019 to about 24.6% last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Most of the other competitors really did not show any type of changes in terms of market share,” he said. Coupang’s rivals include eBay-owned Gmarket, WeMakePrice, Naver Shopping among others.

“The fact is that (Coupang is) becoming the biggest e-commerce business within Korea and 24% market share, I think, it might actually even rise further,” Yoo said. “It is possible that they can actually gain as much as 30%+ over the next few years.” That, he explained, would justify why the company’s IPO price has increased.

Coupang’s regulatory filing showed the company sustained losses over eight quarters through Dec. 31. But a sharp jump in sales last year helped narrow net losses from $770.2 million in 2019 to $567.6 million in 2020

Comparisons with Alibaba, Amazon

The company, whose prominent backers include SoftBank’s Vision Fund and Sequoia Capital, has drawn comparisons with Amazon and Alibaba. Those firms have become tech behemoths after making their public debuts.

But Yoo said that the consumer markets in the U.S. and China are significantly larger than South Korea. So, even if Coupang is able to increase its market share, he said it is unlikely to see the same kind of sales growth the other two companies saw in the last decade.

South Korea’s e-commerce market has an estimated value of $90.1 billion in 2020 with an annual growth rate of 22.3%, according to data analytics firm GlobalData. Walmart and McCormick are down 3% and nearly 7%, respectively, in 2021.\nCramer’s recommendations came after the S&P 500 eked out a record close on Wednesday.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":624,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":340496550,"gmtCreate":1617445319670,"gmtModify":1634520919756,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Go strong","listText":"Go strong","text":"Go strong","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/340496550","repostId":"1121666420","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1121666420","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1617365764,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1121666420?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-04-02 20:16","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Wall Street Has Given Up on These 3 Stocks, and That's a Huge Mistake","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1121666420","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"It's never a bad time to search for beaten-down stocks that are profitable on paper.Searching forval","content":"
It's never a bad time to search for beaten-down stocks that are profitable on paper.

Searching forvalue stocksis pretty simple: Find financially robust companies that have performed poorly from a share price perspective, and buy them when they're down. Last year's earnings were $2.24 a share, and the stock currently trades around $25 per share, leading to a current price-to-earnings ratio of only about 11. While overall sales were down in 2020, profitable sales growth rose, a sign that the company is still able to control costs and make money in the most difficult of circumstances.

The stock has also lost two-thirds of its value since 2013 but remains profitable. According to its year-end press release, the company has been successful in restructuring its debt and executing on its turnaround plans (especially concerning its core businesses). Shares remain cheap for the moment, but the fact remains: The company makes money and has the financials to prove it.

When in doubt, seek value

The basic premise of value investing is to find profitable companies that happen to be on sale in the open market. Shares remain cheap for the moment, but the fact remains: The company makes money and has the financials to prove it.When in doubt, seek valueThe basic premise of value investing is to find profitable companies that happen to be on sale in the open market. While single-stock investing is far from a guaranteed strategy, it's worth looking into seemingly \"forgotten\" companies that simply have not yet had their day in the sun. Companies that have demonstrated their ability to grow and sustain profitability are your best bet, especially when they're cheap.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":556,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":350879396,"gmtCreate":1616195865815,"gmtModify":1634526815401,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good job","listText":"Good job","text":"Good job","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/350879396","repostId":"1136440314","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":394,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":327535588,"gmtCreate":1616108954244,"gmtModify":1634527236652,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great","listText":"Great","text":"Great","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/327535588","repostId":"1104101782","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1104101782","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1616080514,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1104101782?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-03-18 23:15","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Is Now The Time To Buy Stock In Sundial Growers, AMC, Lordstown Or American Airlines?","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1104101782","media":"Benzinga","summary":"One of the most common questions traders have about stocks is “Why Is It Moving?”\nThat’s why Benzing","content":"
One of the most common questions traders have about stocks is “Why Is It Moving?”
\n
That’s why Benzinga created the Why Is It Moving, or WIIM, feature inBenzinga Pro.

Similarly,Novartis(NYSE:NVS)is a $211 billion company yielding 3.8%. Perhaps the reason Buffett hasn't bought this big pharma stock is that it is a Swiss company. It turns out, Buffett favors American brands in food, cola, and apparently drugmakers.Novartis did catch the eye of Wood, thanks to its work toward developing a leading digital and data science platform for drug discovery. Although it isn't a pure play on any of ARK's strategies, Wood considers it a deep value pick, to be held through a bull market and then sold in times of volatility to add to higher-conviction growth names that get beaten down.Portfolio juxtapositionIt may be counterintuitive for an investor who prides himself on unemotional investing to buy into one of the hottest IPOs of last year, but once Snowflake started trading, the investment doubled almost immediately. Similarly, few would think someone famous for a $4,000 price target onTeslaand presentations that literally map out the future of entire industries would own a nearly 4% dividend paying pharmaceutical company with no growth. However, there is a great lesson in these examples.Don't settle for the labels Wall Street places on companies or investors. The more we know about a company, the easier it is to figure out whether the nextsell-off is something to fear or a great opportunity.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":237,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":328104422,"gmtCreate":1615504488266,"gmtModify":1703490022686,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"What do you think of this?","listText":"What do you think of this?","text":"What do you think of this?","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/328104422","repostId":"1117588517","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1117588517","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1615483663,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1117588517?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-03-12 01:27","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Coupang spikes 85% on its first day of trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1117588517","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Coupang shares opened at $64.8 each on Thursday, about 85% higher than the company’s IPO price.Inves","content":"
Coupang shares opened at $64.8 each on Thursday, about 85% higher than the company’s IPO price.

Investors looking to buy shares of South Korean e-commerce firm Coupang when it goes public in New York should consider if the company has what it takes to be profitable in the future.

That’s the advice Daniel Yoo, head of global asset allocation at Yuanta Securities, Korea, has for clients.

“What you really need to know is whether or not, in the business environment of Korea and e-commerce, can they be able to generate a huge, profitable return on capital,” Yoo said Thursday on CNBC’s “Street Signs Asia.”

Coupang is set to debut on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker “CPNG” later in the day when U.S. markets open.

The company said it had priced 130 million shares at $35 apiece, raising $4.55 billion and valuing the company around $60 billion.

However, it's refreshing to see the stocks move higher on positive developments rather than just speculative crowdsourcing.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":276,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":160756435,"gmtCreate":1623807300827,"gmtModify":1631887210462,"author":{"id":"3572905441837972","authorId":"3572905441837972","name":"ath","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0213caeb5319ed626bf7f401b7c98d4c","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572905441837972","authorIdStr":"3572905441837972"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Get
