GM is expected to start deliveries of the Hummer EV pickup by the end of next month, and Ford will deliver the F-150 Lightning next year.
\n
But the real race is not who can deliver the first electric pickup truck. It’s who can achieve volume production and deliveries.
","source":"lsy1627037122897","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Tesla Cybertruck reservation backlog reaches $80 billion in value based on latest tally
\n\na,abbr,acronym,address,applet,article,aside,audio,b,big,blockquote,body,canvas,caption,center,cite,code,dd,del,details,dfn,div,dl,dt,\nem,embed,fieldset,figcaption,figure,footer,form,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,header,hgroup,html,i,iframe,img,ins,kbd,label,legend,li,mark,menu,nav,\nobject,ol,output,p,pre,q,ruby,s,samp,section,small,span,strike,strong,sub,summary,sup,table,tbody,td,tfoot,th,thead,time,tr,tt,u,ul,var,video{ font:inherit;margin:0;padding:0;vertical-align:baseline;border:0 }\nbody{ font-size:16px; GM is expected to start deliveries of the Hummer EV pickup by the end of next month, and Ford will deliver the F-150 Lightning next year.\nBut the real race is not who can deliver the first electric pickup truck. It’s who can achieve volume production and deliveries.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":974,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":872612564,"gmtCreate":1637502649494,"gmtModify":1637502649494,"author":{"id":"4099051983685000","authorId":"4099051983685000","name":"Prosperous40","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4099051983685000","authorIdStr":"4099051983685000"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Oh","listText":"Oh","text":"Oh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/872612564","repostId":"1163564735","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1163564735","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1637455398,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1163564735?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-11-21 08:43","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Female Worker Sues Elon Musk-Led Tesla For Rampant Sexual Harassment","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1163564735","media":"Benzinga","summary":"According to alawsuitfiled by a woman who works in Tesla's Fremont, California factory, the company'","content":"
According to alawsuitfiled by a woman who works in Tesla's Fremont, California factory, the company's female employees face \"rampant sexual harassment.\"
\n
Jessica Barraza, who was hired as a production associate in 2018,saidin a lawsuit filed this week that she was subjected to constant harassment at the factory, including catcalling and inappropriate physical touching.
\n
When she complained to supervisors and human resources, they failed to take action, according to Barraza.
\n
In the lawsuit, Barraza says, \"She was subject to vulgar comments about her body, was propositioned by a supervisory lead over text message and was frequently touched inappropriately by co-workers, who she alleges brushed up against her backside multiple times a week.\"
\n
The lawsuit claims \"rampant sexual harassment at Tesla,\" alleging \"nightmarish conditions\" and a factory floor that \"more resembles a crude, archaic construction site or frat house than a cutting-edge company in the heart of the progressive San Francisco Bay Area.\"
\n
In October, the company was ordered to pay $137 million to a former contractor at the same plant, who alleged he was subjected to racial harassment as part of a hostile work environment.
\n
Tesla is now challenging that award.
\n
In August, Teslapaida former Black employee more than $1 million after an arbitrator ruled that the automaker failed to stop supervisors from using the \"N-word\" at a company manufacturing facility in California.
","source":"lsy1606299360108","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Let’s dive in and find out what’s next for this former meme favorite.
\n
PLTR Stock, Earnings, and The Market’s Response
\n
On November 9, Palantir reported its results for the quarter ending September 30. For the period, ittopped revenue estimates, generating $392 million in sales, versus analyst consensus of $385 million.
\n
The company also delivered earnings per share (EPS) of 4 cents, in line with expectations. Its latest updates to its revenue outlook were also positive. Guidance for Q4 2021 is now $418 million, versus $402 million projected by the sell-side community. For the full year 2021, it expects to post $1.53 billion – in other words, year-over-year revenue growth of 40%.
\n
Nevertheless, instead of popping on the news, shares dropped, resulting in a 9.4% dip on November 9 alone, and a 7.1% decline the following day. While PLTR traded for just under $27 per share ahead of earnings, it is now worth around $22.83 per share.
\n
So, is the drop the result of investors “selling the news?” To some extent, perhaps. But besides the latest earnings report, there’s been another development that has weighed on shares: an analyst downgrade that dropped shortly after earnings.
\n
Why The Latest Analyst Downgrade May Signal a Bumpy Road Ahead
\n
On November 10, RBC Capital’s Rishi Jaluriareleased his newest rating on PLTR stock. His take was a brutal one. After downgrading shares and lowering the price target, Jaluria is now worried about two things.
\n
The first is a slowdown in growth in the company’s key governmental services business. The increase in revenue from U.S. Federal contracts have fallen by half quarter-over-quarter. Second, Jaluria believes that the company’s commercial growth, which has accelerated, is largely driven by the company’s SPAC (special purpose acquisition company) investments.
\n
According to the RBC analyst, without these deals, where the SPAC acquisition target signs on as a Palantir client, the company would have posted much lower commercial sales growth. All in all, the analyst is doubtful that the company can sustain a 30%+ rate of growth going forward.
\n
This of course isn’t the first time someone from the sell-side has called out the company and its growth projections. Let’s dive in and find out what’s next for this former meme favorite.
\n
This of course isn’t the first time someone from the sell-side has called out the company and its growth projections. government ","content":"
U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Tuesday extended a deadline for a potential U.S. government default to Dec. 15 from Dec. 3, giving Congress more time to raise the federal debt ceiling as lawmakers also consider a massive social spending and climate bill.
\n
Yellen said in a letter to congressional leaders that the adjustment was \"based on our most recent information,\" a reference to Treasury tax collections and cash flow data.
\n
She said the Treasury would be able to make a $118 billion transfer to the Highway Trust Fund required on Dec. 15, a month after President Joe Biden's signing of a sweeping infrastructure bill on Monday. But the transfer would count against the debt ceiling, as the funds would be invested in non-marketable Treasury securities.
\n
\"While I have a high degree of confidence that Treasury will be able to finance the U.S. government through December 15 and complete the Highway Trust Fund investment, there are scenarios in which Treasury would be left with insufficient remaining resources to continue to finance the operations of the U.S. government beyond this date,\" Yellen said.
\n
She repeated her call for Congress to raise or suspend the debt limit \"as soon as possible\" to maintain the full faith and credit of the United States.
\n
The new estimate gives Democrats in Congress a bit more breathing space as they seek to pass a $1.75 trillion measure to provide new energy tax breaks and fund new benefits for childcare, universal preschool and an expanded child tax credit.
\n
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said on Tuesday that Senate Democrats aimed to pass the Build Back Better legislation before Christmas - a goal that has slipped this fall because of squabbling between centrist and progressive Democrats.
\n
AVOIDING DEFAULT
\n
Democrats aim to pass the spending bill without Republican support. Republicans have also vowed to oppose a debt limit increase, putting pressure on Democrats to pass that measure on their own, complicating an already tricky legislative path for the rest of Biden's agenda.
\n
Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell earlier on Tuesday signaled some wiggle room on the debt limit, telling reporters: \"We'll figure out how to avoid default.
