Pelosi Adds TEM: Can This AI Stock Hit $70 Again?

Nancy Pelosi recently made headlines with her strategic investments in the tech and AI sectors. She acquired call options for Alphabet, Amazon, and Nvidia, purchasing 50 contracts with a strike price of $80, set to expire on January 16, 2026. Additionally, Pelosi invested in energy company Vistra, showing a diverse portfolio approach. Notably, on December 20, 2024, Pelosi exercised call options to acquire 50,000 shares of Nvidia and 14,000 shares of Palo Alto Networks. These are strong players in their respective sectors, benefiting from technological innovation and cybersecurity demands. On January 14, 2025, Pelosi expanded her portfolio into artificial intelligence by investing in Tempus AI (TEM). She acquired 50 call options with a strike price of $20, expiring on January 16, 2026. I finally managed to sell all of my Schwab (SCHW) shares yesterday after holding on for what felt like an eternity. It was a huge relief and a great reminder that patience and emotional discipline can really pay off in the long run. When I first started buying the stock, the price dropped significantly, and my portfolio went deep into the red. But instead of panicking or selling at a loss, I decided to stay the course and even bought more shares to lower my average cost. Fast forward to yesterday—Schwab released an excellent earnings report, and the stock rallied. I took the opportunity to sell and walked away with a solid profit. It was a reminder that while strategy and discipline are key, sometimes timing and luck play a role too. Yesterday was definitely a good day for me. On top of th

$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ I reviewed the filings section for Nvidia on Tiger Brokers and decided against purchasing, partly based on what I saw there. Additionally, I won't consider buying Nvidia at any price above $50.

I will be watching the stock price of Nike today. Nike is renowned for its high quality shoes and sports equipment, which are widely popular and frequently used by people around the world. The brand has become synonymous with sports, thanks to its strong market presence and extensive glob network of stores. Nike's success can be attributed to several key factors. Overall, my portfolio is down by around 3% in September. It has been a tough month with some volatility and challenges. Despite the setback, I remain hopeful that October will bring stronger performance and better momentum for the stocks I am holding. Fingers crossed for a positive shift in October! 🤞

After the Surge: Will FFIE Drop Back to Penny Stock?

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (FFIE) closed at $3.69 yesterday, a remarkable 51.85% increase from the previous day. Over the past 52 weeks, the stock has demonstrated extreme volatility, ranging from $0.9934 to an eye-popping $156.00. This kind of fluctuation often attracts both speculative traders and cautious skeptics alike. Despite this surge, FFIE remains off my investment radar for several reasons. Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (FFIE) 1. Poor Financial Performance One of the critical factors in my investment decisions is the financial health of a company. FFIE’s performance in terms of earnings per share (EPS) and net income does not inspire confidence. The company’s struggles to achieve profitability, coupled with unclear growth trajectories, raise red flags. Wi

I received a small amount of Apple shares as a gift from Tiger brokers quite long ago and sold them at a much lower price. Back then, I thought the stock was overvalued so I decided to sell. Now, the price has risen even further but it doesn't matter since it was a small amount.

In November, my portfolio saw a positive return of 2.35%, marking another step forward in achieving my investment goals. My current holdings include a mix of assets: Occidental (OXY), Ready Capital Corp (RC), TLH and TLT. This combination of equities and bond ETFs reflects a balanced strategy in a way that keeps me optimistic about the months ahead. November's performance was a win and I am excited to keep building on this momentum as I refine and optimise my strategy for the future! [Cool]

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ I believe the market is overly optimistic about Tesla's current valuation. While Tesla is undoubtedly a leader in the EV industry with impressive technological advancements, I feel that its stock is overvalued relative to its current fundamentals. One of the key drivers of this optimism is the potential of the Robotaxi initiative, which, while intriguing, carries significant uncertainty in terms of technological feasibility and mass adoption. Given these unknowns and the high expectations already priced into the stock, I'm personally hesitant to invest at this time.

$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ Whether Nvidia beats earnings or not, I am way too chicken to hit the 'buy' button. If they beat expectations, I will be the person still fumbling with my phone while the stock rockets to the moon. If they miss, I have no interest in playing the hero trying to catch a falling knife, especially when I am not planning to hold this tech titan long-term. And let's be honest, buying before earnings? That feels like betting on a coin flip with my life savings. Maybe I am just too good at being cautious. But for now, I will stick to watching from the sidelines with a bowl of popcorn.

$Intel(INTC)$ I am keen on investing in Intel as I believe it is a strong company with a promising future. However, I am holding off for now because the current price is a bit too high for my taste. I am hoping to see if dip to around $13 before I buy. Despite Intel's solid fundamentals, it is up against some tough competition so a more attractive entry point would make this investment even more compelling for me.

$Sea Ltd(SE)$ Based on the P/E ratio, I believe SE is currently overvalued. Additionally, the stock is trading near its 52-week high, significantly above its 52-week low. This significant disparity further reinforces my concern that the stock may be overpriced. Given these factors, I am opting not to invest at this time. The fear of missing out can be a powerful motivator but I prefer to avoid chasing a stock that appears to be inflated. The risks associated with buying at these levels, especially with the potential for a price correction, are too high for my investment strategy. I would rather wait for a more favourable entry point, where the stock's valuation better aligns with its fundamentals.

$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$   I believe that making investment decisions based solely on what others are doing is not a sound strategy. I prefer to do my own research and make informed choices rather than follow trends blindly. My investment philosophy is rooted in the principle that I will only invest in a stick if I have a strong conviction that its price will rise over time based on careful analysis and evaluation. In the case of Nvidia, I recognise that it is an innovative company with a strong track record in the technology sector. However, despite the company's impressive performance and potential for future growth, I have concluded that its current stock price is too high relative to its intrinsic value. In my vi

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  Warren Buffett famously advises, "Be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy when others are fearful.". Looking at the recent performance of Tesla's stock, it is evident that we are currently experiencing a strong bull market for this company. Over the past eight days, Tesla's stock has achieved and impressive winning streak, reflecting a period of significant upward momentum. This kind of extended rally often signals that investor enthusiasm is running high and that the stock might be experiencing an overbought condition. In such scenarios, it is essential to remain mindful of Buffett's wisdom. When the market is driven by excessive optimism and greed, it can be a signal for caution. The e

$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$  I have decided not to invest in Nvidia partly because the dividend yield doesn't meet my expectations. While the company is a powerhouse in the tech industry with incredible growth potential, I am focused on building a portfolio that provides steady income through dividends. Unfortunately, Nvidia's current dividend yield falls short of what I am looking for in terms of passive income. I'd rather allocate my funds to stocks that offer a more attractive dividend yield, ensuring a more consistent return on my investment.

$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$   I believe there are many opportunities to earn profits from stocks that I miss but I usually don't regret not buying them. For example, I watched AMC entertainment's stock price rise from very low to very high and then fall back again. Although I could have earned some profits if I had bought it earlier, I don't regret it because the risk was too high for me. I know I am not willing to hold this stock for the long term. In stock investment, there are always opportunities that we need to let go of. It's important to recognise that not every missed opportunity is a loss. Sometimes, avoiding high-risk investments can be a wise decision as the potential for loss outweigh the potential for gain.

Strategy Roller Coaster: Short or Long at $300?

Strategy (MSTR) has returned to the $300 level as Bitcoin surges past $90,000. The stock closed at $304.11 yesterday, marking a significant rebound from its 52-week low of $101 and still far from its 52-week high of $543. This extreme price range highlights the stock’s volatile nature—a direct reflection of its heavy exposure to Bitcoin. Strategy (MSTR) Why Is MSTR So High? MSTR’s recent rally since last year is likely driven by Bitcoin’s price surge rather than the company’s fundamental business performance. MicroStrategy has aggressively accumulated Bitcoin, positioning itself more as a Bitcoin proxy stock rather than a traditional software company. As a result, its stock price moves almost in sync with Bitcoin, making it highly volatile. Risk vs. Reward: Should You Buy, Short, or Avoid?
