They are also bullish on the Nikkei 225, the index of Japan’s top blue-chip companies that trade on the on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.A growing appetiteCryptocurrency developments in the traditional finance world indicate that theappetite for bitcoin and other digital assets is growing, and institutions are just waiting for a green light from regulators to be able to serve them. For example, earlier this year BNY Mellon, the world’s largest custodian bank, saidit would offer bitcoin services, which would allow the asset managers it serves to store and move the digital asset through BNY Mellon.Institutional investors drove much of the recent bitcoin bull run, which pushed the price up to new all-time highs throughout the first quarter of this year before dipping again last month and hovering around $35,000 since. In the U.S., many see a bitcoin exchange-traded fund as the big catalyst for adoption among institutional investors. Last month, however, the Securities and Exchange Commission released comments implying it’s unlikely to approve a bitcoin ETF this year.In the meantime, major investment banks have sought torespond to wealthy clients’ demandsfor cryptocurrency. For instance, earlier this spring,Morgan Stanley told its advisorsit would offer wealth management clients access to three funds that enable ownership of bitcoin.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":281,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":114960288,"gmtCreate":1623042753844,"gmtModify":1634095911543,"author":{"id":"3567602190294873","authorId":"3567602190294873","name":"Kaka85","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/910cbde97dcc78d3d6264dbe2422fdad","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3567602190294873","authorIdStr":"3567602190294873"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"GME stock frenzy","listText":"GME stock frenzy","text":"GME stock frenzy","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/114960288","repostId":"2141926289","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":593,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":115343820,"gmtCreate":1622953902760,"gmtModify":1634096614737,"author":{"id":"3567602190294873","authorId":"3567602190294873","name":"Kaka85","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/910cbde97dcc78d3d6264dbe2422fdad","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3567602190294873","authorIdStr":"3567602190294873"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Looking at side","listText":"Looking at side","text":"Looking at side","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/115343820","repostId":"1198437149","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":453,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":116857953,"gmtCreate":1622791996472,"gmtModify":1634097967805,"author":{"id":"3567602190294873","authorId":"3567602190294873","name":"Kaka85","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/910cbde97dcc78d3d6264dbe2422fdad","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3567602190294873","authorIdStr":"3567602190294873"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Dangerous ","listText":"Dangerous ","text":"Dangerous","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/116857953","repostId":"1147955587","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1147955587","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1622791602,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1147955587?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-04 15:26","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Should You Buy AMC Stock? Retail investors hope to prompt a bigger short squeeze, forcing hedge funds to buy the stock to cover their bets, which would drive prices even higher.\nThat said, investors should keep in mind that stock sales dilute existing shares and provide a larger cushion for short sellers to cover.\nWhatever the reason for owning AMC stock, investors should risk only what they can afford to lose, as AMC itself cautions.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":311,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":111461132,"gmtCreate":1622693063226,"gmtModify":1634099069034,"author":{"id":"3567602190294873","authorId":"3567602190294873","name":"Kaka85","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/910cbde97dcc78d3d6264dbe2422fdad","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3567602190294873","authorIdStr":"3567602190294873"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Risky","listText":"Risky","text":"Risky","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/111461132","repostId":"1139859065","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":456,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":111074079,"gmtCreate":1622646882591,"gmtModify":1634099590396,"author":{"id":"3567602190294873","authorId":"3567602190294873","name":"Kaka85","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/910cbde97dcc78d3d6264dbe2422fdad","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3567602190294873","authorIdStr":"3567602190294873"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Competitive","listText":"Competitive","text":"Competitive","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/111074079","repostId":"1128017388","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1128017388","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1622618011,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1128017388?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-02 15:13","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Where Will NIO Stock Be In 5 Years?","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1128017388","media":"seekingalpha","summary":"Summary\n\nNIO is a high-growth Chinese EV player with attractive products.\nIts BaaS technology provid","content":"
Summary
\n
\n
NIO is a high-growth Chinese EV player with attractive products.
\n
Its BaaS technology provides a USP that should help NIO gain market share in the coming years.
\n
NIO is trading at a high valuation, and a lot of future growth is priced in already. The company enjoys growth tailwinds in its home market China and will increase its presence in overseas markets dramatically in the coming years. NIO is not as expensive as some other EV stocks, but shares are, on the other hand, still trading at a steep premium compared to how legacy auto companies are valued. Overall, NIO could return significant amounts of money in the coming years, but that is not a certainty, and investors should keep an eye on NIO's risk factors.
\n
NIO Stock Price
\n
NIO, Inc. is one of China's leading EV pure-plays, and that is reflected in its current valuation:
\n
Data by YCharts
\n
At slightly below $40, NIO is valued at more than $60 billion right now. This is about 40% less than the valuation shares have traded at when they peaked in early 2021, which reflects the declining enthusiasm for EV stocks, as most of NIO's peers, including Tesla (TSLA), have seen their shares come back as well. Still, for reference, NIO is valued around the same level as Ford (F) - which is a way larger company for now, in terms of revenue and vehicle sales.
\n
Is NIO A Good Long-Term Stock?
\n
NIO is active in the high-growth EV market and thus benefits a lot from market growth tailwinds. On top of that, NIO also has an attractive product portfolio that includes well-received models such as the ES6 and ES8 SUVs. What differentiates NIO from most other EV companies is its battery-swapping technology that allows consumers to get a fully-charged battery in a couple of minutes when visiting one of NIO's battery-swapping stations.
\n
This means that the downtime when doing longer trips via an EV is reduced dramatically, as a battery-swap takes roughly as much time as refueling an ICE-powered car, whereas recharging most EVs takes well more than a couple of minutes. NIO's battery-swapping stations are being built out around China right now, although there is no meaningful footprint outside of NIO's home market yet.
\n
Still, NIO plans to roll out that service in international markets over the years, and once there is a large enough footprint of them to make a difference, this should be a unique selling point for NIO that will help differentiate its offerings from those of most peers. This could, I believe, result in further market share gains, which is why I wouldn't be surprised to see NIO grow at a rapid pace for the coming years.
\n
For 2021, NIO will likely deliver revenue growth of more than 100% on the back of strong deliveries growth, as the analyst community is currently forecasting a 130% revenue increase this year. For Q2, NIO is expecting a growth rate of around 110% for its deliveries, following a massive 480% revenue increase during the first quarter. NIO thus is growing quicker than the EV market as a whole, and also quicker than peers such as Tesla, which will grow by around 50%-60% this year, according to the analyst community, which is about half the growth rate that is expected for NIO this year.
\n
Maintaining 100%+ growth forever is, of course, not possible, and NIO's growth will decline from that level in the coming years. But due to the fact that its products are well-liked in its home market, while the company is also ambitiously planning a major entry into the large European EV market, NIO should still deliver very considerable growth in the coming years.
\n
Obvious growth tailwinds for a company, or even an industry, do not necessarily equate to massive share price upside, however. Investors should consider that NIO will, like all auto companies, be active in a cyclical, capital-intense industry where margins, on average, are not very high. This doesn't mean that NIO does not have long-term upside, but investors should keep in mind that a home run is not guaranteed when investing in NIO or other EV stocks - despite the fact that EV sales are growing quickly.
\n
NIO Stock Forecast In 5 Years
\n
NIO will grow its revenues by more than 100% this year, according to most estimates, but growth projections beyond that point are varying a lot more. Looking at 2022, for example, the analyst consensus for NIO's revenues is $8.7 billion, which would reflect a 78% increase versus the consensus for 2021. Estimates are in a wide range, however, as analyst estimates range from $7.3 billion to $11.9 billion in revenue in 2022.
\n
In other words, the most bullish estimates see NIO deliver 60% higher revenues than the most bearish estimates. Since these estimates are being made for 2022 - just one year from now - this wide discrepancy shows how hard it is to forecast exact revenue or earnings numbers for a company like NIO.
\n
For my estimate for 2025's revenues, I'll go with the analyst consensus for 2022, i.e. $8.7 billion, and then assume that revenues will grow at 1.5x the forecasted overall market growth rate of 27% in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. This would get us to $34 billion in revenue in 2026, i.e. five years from now. Since analysts are currently forecasting that revenue will grow by 110% this year, and by around 80% next year, some readers may argue that a 40% growth rate estimate for 2023-2026 is too conservative. But the major unknowns and uncertainties around competitive pressures, government policies, etc., mean that I think that projecting a higher growth rate for many years in advance might be too optimistic.
\n
What might a $34 billion top line mean for NIO's stock price? Right now, shares are valued at 11.6x this year's expected sales, which is almost perfectly in line with the valuation of XPeng (XPEV), and slightly lower than that of Tesla:
\n
Data by YCharts
\n
Looking at 2022, we see that shares are valued at around 7x expected revenues right now, whereas XPeng and Tesla trade at 6x and 9x their expected revenues right now. I highly doubt that the average EV company will be trading at high single-digit or even double-digit sales multiples in 2026, as this is just too much of a difference versus the 0.5-2x revenue multiples that legacy auto companies usually trade at. But when we assume that NIO, as an EV pure-play, will still trade at a premium to legacy auto in the middle of the 2020s, a 3x or 4x sales multiple might be a realistic estimate.
\n
When we go with 3.5x our revenue forecast for 2026, that would equate to a market capitalization of 119 billion - about 90% more than NIO's current market capitalization. NIO's share count has not been constant, however, and has, in fact, been rising considerably in the past. When we assume that the share count will rise by another 20% through 2026, to 1.9 billion, then shares would trade at $61 in 2026. This would mean that shares have an upside potential of around 55% over the next five years, or about 9% annually.
\n
That is not at all unattractive, but it also isn't an absolutely outstanding return. On top of that, NIO, like many other EV startups, is a company with above-average volatility, above-average risks, and above-average uncertainties. I thus would not call NIO overly attractive at current prices, as the forecasted return is solid, but goes hand in hand with considerable risks/uncertainties. One can, of course, argue that the forecasted growth is too high, or too low, or that the target sales multiple should be different in 2026. As a base case scenario, I feel like this is reasonable, however.
\n
Is NIO Stock A Buy Now?
\n
In retrospect, it is pretty clear that NIO at $10 about a year ago was a great opportunity, and that buying NIO at $67 at the peak earlier this year was a pretty bad decision. NIO today, in the high $30s, is somewhere in between these two extremes. I believe that, for long-term investors, NIO has a good chance of delivering solid returns over the years. At the same time, however, a lot of growth is priced into the stock right now, and it is not possible to forecast what competitors will do over the coming years, how accommodating governments will be to EVs, how well the rollout in Europe and other international markets will go, etc.
\n
I think NIO is more attractive than many other EV companies today, including many of the EV startups that don't have any viable products yet, and also versus Tesla (which is growing slower and still trades at a higher valuation). I would not be surprised to see NIO's stock deliver solid returns during the 2020s. I don't think that NIO is an absolute no-brainer buy today, however, as NIO still trades at a quite high valuation, for now, even factoring in its strong growth.
\n
For those that are enterprising and do not mind the risks and uncertainties around future product launches and international expansion, the stock's volatility, and so on, NIO could be a buy today. But it is not a good choice for everyone, and some may want to watch the EV race from the sidelines instead of putting money at risk at current valuations.
\n
The current analyst consensus share price target is $59, but I personally do not think this is realistic in the very near term. Based on expected revenues for 2021, this would put NIO at an 18x sales multiple, which is, I believe, not justified. Over the next five years, however, a share price in that region seems achievable, I believe.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Where Will NIO Stock Be In 5 Years?
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nWhere Will NIO Stock Be In 5 Years?\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-06-02 15:13 GMT+8 seekingalpha\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Summary\n\nNIO is a high-growth Chinese EV player with attractive products.\nIts BaaS technology provides a USP that should help NIO gain market share in the coming years.\nNIO is trading at a high ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"NIO":"蔚来"},"source_url":"https://seekingalpha.com/article/4432423-nio-stock-in-5-years","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1128017388","content_text":"Summary\n\nNIO is a high-growth Chinese EV player with attractive products.\nIts BaaS technology provides a USP that should help NIO gain market share in the coming years.\nNIO is trading at a high valuation, and a lot of future growth is priced in already. We expect this ratio to improve further to 79% in 2021, 69.2% in 2022, and 57.2% in 2025. The bulk of the improvements in operating expenses is coming from lower SG&A and R&D expenses as a percentage of revenues in the next five years.Company BackgroundAt the end of 2020, Zhihu had more than 43.1 million cumulative content creators that contributed 315 million questions and answers. That attention has been overwhelmingly positive, considering that the share prices for both companies have almost tripled year to date.

However, the excitement of being in the limelight can fade quickly. Which of these two pot stocks is the better pick going forward? Here's how Sundial and Tilray stack up against each other.

Growth

Tilray's revenuejumped 20.5% year over year in the fourth quarterto $56.6 million. The company's international medical cannabis sales skyrocketed 191%, while its Canadian adult-use recreational marijuana sales soared 49%. The only fly in the ointment for Tilray was its hemp segment, which experienced an 18% revenue decline.

Sundial announced its Q4 results on Wednesday, and its story wasn't nearly as good as Tilray's. The company reported net cannabis revenue of 13.9 million in Canadian dollars. While this reflected an 8% increase from the prior quarter, Sundial's revenue was down more than 5% year over year.

Both Sundial and Tilray have opportunities to grow in the Canadian market, especially as the country's Cannabis 2.0 derivatives market continues to pick up momentum. However, Tilray definitely will have an advantage.

Tilray's merger withAphria(NASDAQ:APHA)is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021. The combined company will rank as the biggest global cannabis producer based on revenue. It will also claim the leading market share in the Canadian retail marijuana market.

The \"new\" Tilray will also be a top player in European medical cannabis markets because Aphria owns a major German cannabis wholesaler. Tilray also operates a large cannabis production facility in Portugal. Sundial doesn't have a presence in Europe at this point.

Tilray and Aphria also have businesses in the U.S., while Sundial doesn't. Aphria acquired craft-beer maker Sweetwater Brewing, and Tilray owns leading hemp foods manufacturer Manitoba Harvest. The combined company thinks that these operations will give it a great launching pad should federal cannabis reform open the door to jump into the lucrative U.S. cannabis market.

Financial position

Sundial posted a net loss of CA$64.1 million in the fourth quarter. The company generated an adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) loss of CA$5.6 million and had CA$710 million in unrestricted cash as of March 15, 2021.

Tilray is in a much stronger financial position even before the Aphria merger. While the company recorded a Q4 net loss of $3 million, it was a huge improvement from the net loss of $219.8 million in the prior-year period. Tilray also generated positive adjusted EBITDA of $2.2 million and had $189.7 million in cash as of the end of 2020.

The financial situation for Tilray should improve once the Aphria merger closes. Aphria has delivered seven consecutive quarters of increasing adjusted EBITDA profitability. The combined entity expects to realize significant synergies within the two years following the finalization of the transaction.

Valuation

Tilray's market cap currently stands at around $4.5 billion, while Sundial's is close to $2.4 billion. But is Tilray actually worth nearly twice as much as Sundial?

We can't use earnings-based valuation metrics to compare the two stocks. However, Sundial and Tilray appear to be close using price-to-sales (P/S) ratios. Sundial currently trades at around 24 times trailing-12-month sales, while Tilray trades at a P/S multiple of nearly 23.

However, it's important to remember that Tilray's sales continue to rise year over year while Sundial's are still declining year over year. This makes Tilray's valuation more attractive compared to Sundial.

Better pot stock?

This decision isn't difficult. Tilray is growing faster than Sundial and seems to have stronger growth prospects going forward with the Aphria merger on the way. It claims a stronger financial position than Sundial and, to top things off, Tilray's valuation is slightly more attractive right now. On all counts, Tilray appears to be the better pot stock than Sundial.

However, I don't think that either of these stocks is a great choice for investors. There are several other stocks that are in a better position to profit from the U.S. cannabis market growth that are more attractively valued than either Sundial Growers or Tilray.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Better Pot Stock: Sundial Growers or Tilray?
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nBetter Pot Stock: Sundial Growers or Tilray?\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-03-19 19:13 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Here's how these two hot marijuana stocks compare. No cannabis stocks have attracted more attention in 2021 so far thanSundial Growers(NASDAQ:SNDL)andTilray(NASDAQ:TLRY). However, Tilray definitely will have an advantage.Tilray's merger withAphria(NASDAQ:APHA)is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021. Sundial doesn't have a presence in Europe at this point.Tilray and Aphria also have businesses in the U.S., while Sundial doesn't. Aphria acquired craft-beer maker Sweetwater Brewing, and Tilray owns leading hemp foods manufacturer Manitoba Harvest. The combined company thinks that these operations will give it a great launching pad should federal cannabis reform open the door to jump into the lucrative U.S. cannabis market.Financial positionSundial posted a net loss of CA$64.1 million in the fourth quarter. The company generated an adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) loss of CA$5.6 million and had CA$710 million in unrestricted cash as of March 15, 2021.Tilray is in a much stronger financial position even before the Aphria merger. While the company recorded a Q4 net loss of $3 million, it was a huge improvement from the net loss of $219.8 million in the prior-year period. Tilray also generated positive adjusted EBITDA of $2.2 million and had $189.7 million in cash as of the end of 2020.The financial situation for Tilray should improve once the Aphria merger closes. Aphria has delivered seven consecutive quarters of increasing adjusted EBITDA profitability. The combined entity expects to realize significant synergies within the two years following the finalization of the transaction.ValuationTilray's market cap currently stands at around $4.5 billion, while Sundial's is close to $2.4 billion. But is Tilray actually worth nearly twice as much as Sundial? We can't use earnings-based valuation metrics to compare the two stocks. However, Sundial and Tilray appear to be close using price-to-sales (P/S) ratios. Sundial currently trades at around 24 times trailing-12-month sales, while Tilray trades at a P/S multiple of nearly 23.However, it's important to remember that Tilray's sales continue to rise year over year while Sundial's are still declining year over year. This makes Tilray's valuation more attractive compared to Sundial.Better pot stock? This decision isn't difficult. Tilray is growing faster than Sundial and seems to have stronger growth prospects going forward with the Aphria merger on the way. It claims a stronger financial position than Sundial and, to top things off, Tilray's valuation is slightly more attractive right now. On all counts, Tilray appears to be the better pot stock than Sundial. However, I don't think that either of these stocks is a great choice for investors. There are several other stocks that are in a better position to profit from the U.S. cannabis market growth that are more attractively valued than either Sundial Growers or Tilray.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":672,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":169392912,"gmtCreate":1623816178536,"gmtModify":1634027653921,"author":{"id":"3567602190294873","authorId":"3567602190294873","name":"Kaka85","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/910cbde97dcc78d3d6264dbe2422fdad","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3567602190294873","authorIdStr":"3567602190294873"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/169392912","repostId":"1199891920","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1444,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":116857953,"gmtCreate":1622791996472,"gmtModify":1634097967805,"author":{"id":"3567602190294873","authorId":"3567602190294873","name":"Kaka85","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/910cbde97dcc78d3d6264dbe2422fdad","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3567602190294873","authorIdStr":"3567602190294873"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Dangerous ","listText":"Dangerous ","text":"Dangerous","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/116857953","repostId":"1147955587","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1147955587","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1622791602,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1147955587?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-04 15:26","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Should You Buy AMC Stock? The company sold the shares at an average price of $50.85. But the initial filing also included a warning from the company regarding the recent volatility in AMC’s stock price. SLYV rallied 32% this year through Thursday's close.\nThat more than doubles the return of its growth stock counterpart, SPDR S&P 600 Small Cap Growth (SLYG), which is up 15%. The index SLYG tracks includes stocks with the strongest growth traits based on sales growth, earnings change to price and momentum.\nBack to SLYV, financials accounted for the biggest sector weight at 24% of assets. Industrials weighed in at about 17%, consumer discretionary 15% and real estate 10%. Information technology was next at 8% and materials, energy and health care, 6% each. Smaller positions in consumer staples, utilities and communication services made up the rest.\nSPDR S&P 600 Small Cap Value is in IBD's ETF Leaders, but SPDR S&P 600 Small Cap Growth is not.\nGameStop Stock Leads\nGameStop(GME),Macy's(M),PDC Energy(PDCE),Resideo Technologies(REZI) andBankUnited(BKU) were the top five holdings as of Wednesday.\nPacific Premier Bancorp(PPBI),Bed Bath & Beyond(BBBY),Ameris Bancorp(ABCB),First Hawaiian(FHB) andInsight Enterprises(NSIT) rounded out the top 10.\nGameStop has undergone wide swings this year. It rocketed about 2,500% early this year amid theshort-squeeze rallyfueled by the Reddit/WallStreetBets crowd.GME stockthen crashed 92% from a Jan. 28 high to its mid-February low. That was followed by an 805% surge the next three weeks, and a 66% drop over the next two weeks.\nAction had been relatively subdued since, until Thursday's 27% dive. Even after that, GameStop stock was up 1,070% year to date through Thursday's close.\nCould GME be inflating SLYV's performance? Certainly, given its quadruple-digit gain. But a look at SLYG's portfolio is interesting. GameStop stock is also the top holding in the growth stock ETF, though the rest of the top 10 differ vastly.\nSecond Meme Stock In Top 10\nPDC Energy, up 130%, saw the next biggest gain in the top 10. The Colorado-based oil and gas explorer has a 97Relative Strength Rating, which mean it's in the top 3% of all stocks. Its relative strength line is at a 52-week high, a bullish sign.\nBed Bath & Beyond, another meme stock, is up 78% this year. Shares surged more than 200% in January, amid a spate of wild double-digit swings. BBBY stock then gave back the bulk of its gains.\nBut the home goods retailer appears to be back on the radar of the WallStreetBets discussion group. On June 2, Bed Bath & Beyond soared 62% before diving 28% the next session.\nThe rest of the top 10 stocks have also outperformed the broader market. Macy's is up 68% year to date, while Resideo, Pacific Premier and Ameris have risen more than 40% each. The lowest gainer, bank holding company First Hawaiian, has advanced 20%. The S&P 500 held a 13% gain through Thursday's close.\nSLYV remains in potential buy range from an 87.29entryof acup with handle, according toMarketSmithchart analysis.
