$阿里巴巴-SW(09988)$

TSLA stock is down 0.5% today, despite a pair of analyst price-target hikes. However, if these price targets come to fruition, today’s action will be a distant memory.\nArgus Researchupped its target to $1,313 from $1,010.Wedbush’s Dan Ives also raised his price target, upping it to $1,400 from $1,100.\nIves argues that Tesla’s China business could increase the stock price by another $400 per share in 2022. Furthermore, he estimates that Tesla will deliver between 1.4 million and 1.5 million vehicles next year. However, there could be even more upside. Ives has a bull-case price target of $1,800 per share. If achieved, it would represent about 66% upside in TSLA stock from current levels.\nAccording to Ives, “Musk & Co. have navigated the chip supply shortages better than any automaker globally over the last six months, which is why Tesla is in a clear position of strength heading into 2022 with an inflection point year ahead.”\nFurther, he says there are three main catalysts for a higher stock price this year: “By the end of 2022 Tesla will have the capacity for overall ~2 million units annually from roughly 1 million today … Austin has a clear path to launching its key flagship US factory (and HQ) in early 2022 … [Tesla can] further expand its auto [gross margins] and profitability profile over the next 12 to 18 months.”\nThe latest analyst actions aren’t the only bullish calls this month. A few weeks ago, New Street analyst Pierre Ferraguincreased his price target from $1,298 to a Street-high $1,580. The bullish stance comes from high expectations for the company’s Shanghai plant, believing it will turnout 700,000 vehicles annually. Additionally, the analyst believes Tesla will surpass its delivery estimate of 266,000 units in the fourth quarter.\nTSLA Stock This Year\nSo far for the year, TSLA stock is up about 53%. While that’s vastly better than Nio(NYSE:NIO) and several of the newcomers in the EV space, Tesla’s performance lags Ford(NYSE:F) and Lucid Motors(NASDAQ:LCID), which are up 137% and 275% on the year, respectively.\nWhile shares are down slightly on the day now, TSLA stock is still up more than 20% from last week’s low. The rally helped the company regain its $1 trillion market capitalization, by far the largest in the auto sector.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1773,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":691899487,"gmtCreate":1640159557437,"gmtModify":1640159595893,"author":{"id":"3583033675115574","authorId":"3583033675115574","name":"hellodarz888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4e5f7fa39ea3c821aa8099f517287dcb","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583033675115574","authorIdStr":"3583033675115574"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Its non govt contracts will be impt to show its growth is sustainable ","listText":"Its non govt contracts will be impt to show its growth is sustainable ","text":"Its non govt contracts will be impt to show its growth is sustainable","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/691899487","repostId":"1184116002","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1184116002","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1640140972,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1184116002?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-12-22 10:42","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Palantir: Buy The Dip Before Year-End","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1184116002","media":"Seeking Alpha","summary":"Summary\n\nShares of Palantir have dropped 30% since the start of November, despite a fundamental busi","content":"
Summary
\n
\n
Shares of Palantir have dropped 30% since the start of November, despite a fundamental business that continues to thrive.
\n
In particular, Palantir has been successful at diversifying away from government contracts, with overall commercial revenue growth accelerating in Q3 and more than doubling in the U.S.
\n
Still, the government business is not slacking, with the company winning recent contracts with the Air Force, Department of Health and Human Services, and National Institutes of Health.
\n
Cash flow is also trending ahead of plan, driving the company to boost its full-year cash flow guidance by $100 million.
\n
\n
Andreas Rentz/Getty Images Entertainment
\n
The mantra of \"thinking and investing for the long term\" is a well-touted investment principle, yet rarely ever put into practice. It's also a rule that is most commonly broken in the tech sector, where investors choose their stocks primarily based on momentum and rarely based on fundamentals and value.
\n
So when the great growth correction of 2021 happened in the fourth quarter this year, while many stocks certainly deserved a small correction and a breather in valuations, many high-quality names got knocked down multiple pegs far more than their fundamentals justify. In this bucket is Palantir (PLTR), the big data analytics powerhouse which has seen a tremendous correction in its share price despite a business that has never looked healthier.
\n
Perhaps alone among high-profile software IPOs, Palantir has had a very rocky trading journey since going public last October. Palantir took a while to get off the ground, as investors worried early on that the lack of an insider lockup period would pressure Palantir's ability to rally. The stock did end up rallying and peaked near $40 in mid-February, before proceeding to trade in a very jagged and choppy fashion throughout the rest of the year, including a ~30% decline since November alongside other tech growth stocks.
\n
Data by YCharts
\n
Throughout this tumultuous time period, I've happily held onto my Palantir stock, and this company is one of the rare exceptions where I'm very bullish on a stock that is technically trading at quite expensive valuation multiples (though, with the sharp correction from February peaks, Palantir isn't trading at the egregiously expensive multiples it was trading at earlier). I continue to view Palantir as a tech mega-cap in the making, one with a powerhouse software platform that is broadly applicable across industries, and across both the public and private sectors. Currently dominant primarily in the United States, Palantir also has broadly untested expansion opportunities abroad, where innovation in big data and machine learning technologies has not quite yet matured.
\n
Stay long here, and add to your positions in Palantir at its new lower price before year-end: in my view, Palantir is well-equipped to outperform the market indices for years to come.
\n
Recent wins showcase how prominent Palantir is
\n
Before we get into more granular details and fundamentals, it's worthwhile to illustrate that Palantir has been busy from a go-to-market perspective. The company is always on the heels of some large, transformational deal, and the current situation is no different. Data and inferences that can be made from data are prevalent in just about everything: which explains why Palantir is such a powerful tool for both public and private sector clients.
\n
Growth at scale.Despite being at a ~$2 billion annual revenue scale, Palantir continues to deliver 30-40% y/y revenue growth, and its long-term outlook calls for the company to be able to sustain growth rates in excess of 30% y/y through at least 2025. Few companies are able to achieve this kind of growth at scale, and it's a testament to the wide applicability of Palantir's products and the humongous clientele it has drawn (in particular, the U.S. Army).
\n
Stepping up go-to-market momentum.Palantir is chasing growth across a wide variety of channels. The company has stepped up its sales hiring this year, a nod at the broad market opportunity it has and the need for more territory coverage. Palantir also has deepened relationships with ISVs (integrated service vendors) that can resell Palantir's products without its involvement and offer additional coverage that Palantir's direct sales force can't handle.
\n
One foot in the public sector, one foot in private. Palantir made its name on being a large federal government contractor, but its products are just as compelling to an enterprise segment that is growing ever more obsessed with the value of big data. Most software companies start off as primarily dealing with enterprise buyers, and then hopefully getting FedRAMP certification to sell into public sector clients later. Palantir did the reverse: but now, its momentum with Fortune 100 companies is continuing to grow, and customer adds are continuing to trend at an impressive pace.
\n
Free cash flow.Though not yet profitable from a GAAP standpoint, Palantir continues to exceed internal expectations for free cash flow, which means the business is self-financing (a departure from. many other rapid-growth software companies that continue to need to raise capital to finance their losses).
\n
\n
Valuation isn't cheap, but more reasonable than in the past
\n
I wouldn't go so far as to say that Palantir's recent correction has left the stock at cheap levels - but for the caliber of this company's brand, plus its consistent combination of hyper-growth at scale while building up profitability and margins, I view its current valuation as quite reasonable.
\n
At current share prices near $18, Palantir trades at a market cap of $35.99 billion. After netting off the $2.48 billion cash pile on its books (another reason to be bullish on Palantir: it has a load of cash and is unencumbered by debt), its resulting enterprise value is $33.51 billion.
\n
For next fiscal year FY22, meanwhile, Wall Street analysts are expecting Palantir to deliver $1.98 billion in revenue, representing 30% y/y revenue growth (data from Yahoo Finance). Considering the company has committed to 30%+ annual revenue growth throughout 2022 (and this is a company that has routinely delivered well ahead of its promises), I'd say this outlook is a little dim. Yet regardless of that, at this revenue estimate Palantir trades at 16.9x EV/FY22 revenue.
\n
Again, we can hardly call this cheap, and in the face of rising interest rates, certainly Palantir's prior valuation multiples in the high-20s were unsustainable. But given this company's rapid growth trajectory, I'd say the ~$18 price level still represents a great entry point for the longer-term investor.
\n
Q3 results showcase tremendous fundamental traction, especially in the commercial segment
\n
We additionally note that Palantir's end-of-year correction has been accompanied by a continuation of its strong fundamentals. Take a look at the Q3 earnings results below:
\n
Figure 3. Palantir Q3 results
\n
Source: Palantir Q3 earnings deck
\n
Palantir's revenue grew at a robust 35% y/y pace to $392.1 million in the quarter, beating Wall Street's expectations of $386.6 million (+33% y/y) by a two-point margin. We note that revenue growth did decelerate versus 49% y/y growth in Q2, but that's largely due to an easier comp versus the pandemic period in Q2 of last year.
\n
The major highlight in Q3 was Palantir's success in driving enterprise go-to-market. The company reported commercial revenue growth of 37% y/y in Q3 - which, despite tougher comps, represented substantial acceleration over the prior few quarters:
\n
Figure 4. Palantir commercial revenue trends
\n
Source: Palantir Q3 earnings deck
\n
We note as well that when counting U.S. commercial revenue only, Palantir grew domestic enterprise revenue at a blazing 103% y/y pace.
\n
Note as well that as of the moment, Palantir remains a relatively early-stage enterprise software vendor with relatively few, but large customers. Q3 saw the biggest customer expansion in Palantir's history. The company added 34 net-new customers in Q3 to end the quarter at 203 total customers, which is a significant 20% expansion in the company's customer base in the space of a single quarter. Year over year, the company also boosted its commercial customer counts by 46%.
\n
Figure 5. Palantir customer adds
\n
Source: Palantir Q3 earnings deck
\n
Recall as well that for its enterprise customers, Palantir adopts a \"land and expand\" playbook that many SaaS companies adhere to. These customers may start off as smaller deployments that grow substantially over time.
\n
Equally worth noting is that Palantir's billings expanded 56% y/y to $347 million. The surplus of Palantir's billings growth rates over its revenue growth, plus the sharp buildup in its remaining performance obligations, give us confidence that the company will be able to make good on its promise of sustaining 30%+ revenue growth for years to come.
\n
Lastly, a word on profitability. Palantir's customer growth, and at a positive contribution margin as well, has driven the company to dramatically boost its adjusted free cash flow. In Q3, adjusted FCF hit $119 million, or a ~30% adjusted FCF margin - versus cash burn of -$53 million in the prior-year period.
\n
Figure 6. Palantir FCF trends
\n
Source: Palantir Q3 earnings deck
\n
Building on the strength in cash flow that the company has seen all year, Palantir management also increased its annual FCF guidance for FY21 to $400+ million, versus a prior outlook of just $300+ million. These moves, in my view, solidify to investors in a very risk-off market mindset that Palantir isn't just growing robustly, but also keeping profitability balance in mind.
\n
Key takeaways
\n
In my view, Palantir retains a very long runway for success. The company's undisputed category leadership in big data and analytics continues to prove out new use cases for both public and private-sector teams, and the fact that Palantir can continue to grow at >30% y/y despite hitting an expected ~$2 billion annual revenue run rate next year further solidifies that Palantir is a unique and rare story in the software sector. It's also a rule that is most commonly broken in the tech sector, where investors choose their stocks primarily based on momentum and rarely based on fundamentals and value.\nSo when the great growth correction of 2021 happened in the fourth quarter this year, while many stocks certainly deserved a small correction and a breather in valuations, many high-quality names got knocked down multiple pegs far more than their fundamentals justify. In this bucket is Palantir (PLTR), the big data analytics powerhouse which has seen a tremendous correction in its share price despite a business that has never looked healthier.\nPerhaps alone among high-profile software IPOs, Palantir has had a very rocky trading journey since going public last October. Palantir took a while to get off the ground, as investors worried early on that the lack of an insider lockup period would pressure Palantir's ability to rally. The stock did end up rallying and peaked near $40 in mid-February, before proceeding to trade in a very jagged and choppy fashion throughout the rest of the year, including a ~30% decline since November alongside other tech growth stocks.\nData by YCharts\nThroughout this tumultuous time period, I've happily held onto my Palantir stock, and this company is one of the rare exceptions where I'm very bullish on a stock that is technically trading at quite expensive valuation multiples (though, with the sharp correction from February peaks, Palantir isn't trading at the egregiously expensive multiples it was trading at earlier). I continue to view Palantir as a tech mega-cap in the making, one with a powerhouse software platform that is broadly applicable across industries, and across both the public and private sectors. Currently dominant primarily in the United States, Palantir also has broadly untested expansion opportunities abroad, where innovation in big data and machine learning technologies has not quite yet matured.\nStay long here, and add to your positions in Palantir at its new lower price before year-end: in my view, Palantir is well-equipped to outperform the market indices for years to come.\nRecent wins showcase how prominent Palantir is\nBefore we get into more granular details and fundamentals, it's worthwhile to illustrate that Palantir has been busy from a go-to-market perspective. The company is always on the heels of some large, transformational deal, and the current situation is no different. In particular, the company has just recently signed a multi-year $60 million deal with the National Institutes of Health:\nFigure 1. Palantir NIH win\nSource: Palantir Q3 earnings deck\nAnd, building off the strength that Palantir has historically enjoyed with the U.S. armed forces, the company also signed a four-year $87 million deal with the Department of Veterans Affairs:\nFigure 2. Palantir VA win\nSource: Palantir Q3 earnings deck\nAnd though the large deals that Palantir showcase are typically public-sector deals, the company's commercial/enterprise sales have recently picked up steam as well, which we'll discuss in further detail in this article.\nThe bullish thesis for Palantir, revisited\nWith the recent pessimism in Palantir stock over the past two months, it can be easy for investors to forget the longer-term bullish thesis and fundamental merits that this company possesses in abundance.\nHere's a refresher of all the key reasons why this company is a superstar:\n\nBig data is a massive discipline that can be applied in nearly limitless ways.Palantir isn't a software company that serves only one or a limited set of use cases. Data and inferences that can be made from data are prevalent in just about everything: which explains why Palantir is such a powerful tool for both public and private sector clients.\nGrowth at scale.Despite being at a ~$2 billion annual revenue scale, Palantir continues to deliver 30-40% y/y revenue growth, and its long-term outlook calls for the company to be able to sustain growth rates in excess of 30% y/y through at least 2025. Few companies are able to achieve this kind of growth at scale, and it's a testament to the wide applicability of Palantir's products and the humongous clientele it has drawn (in particular, the U.S. Army).\nStepping up go-to-market momentum.Palantir is chasing growth across a wide variety of channels. The company has stepped up its sales hiring this year, a nod at the broad market opportunity it has and the need for more territory coverage. Palantir also has deepened relationships with ISVs (integrated service vendors) that can resell Palantir's products without its involvement and offer additional coverage that Palantir's direct sales force can't handle.\nOne foot in the public sector, one foot in private. But given this company's rapid growth trajectory, I'd say the ~$18 price level still represents a great entry point for the longer-term investor.\nQ3 results showcase tremendous fundamental traction, especially in the commercial segment\nWe additionally note that Palantir's end-of-year correction has been accompanied by a continuation of its strong fundamentals. Take a look at the Q3 earnings results below:\nFigure 3. Palantir Q3 results\nSource: Palantir Q3 earnings deck\nPalantir's revenue grew at a robust 35% y/y pace to $392.1 million in the quarter, beating Wall Street's expectations of $386.6 million (+33% y/y) by a two-point margin. Semiconductors play a significant role in today's automotive sector, especially EVs, which is why we find their stocks attractive. ON Semi (ON), Qualcomm (QCOM), and Microchip Technology (MCHP) are some of the best suppliers for the automotive sector. Supply chain constraints and Asian factory shutdowns have drastically impacted automotive sales. A Fortune 1000 Company, ON Semi is a semiconductor and leading power management provider that uses signal and custom device technologies for communications, automotive, computing, and other uses. EV advancements allow for increased use of semiconductors in-vehicle platforms' electronics content, improving occupant safety through imaging and sensor function technology; sensor functions by way of algorithms enable vehicles to take immediate action to avoid accidents. This electrification is also used in the powertrain and vehicle auxiliary systems, with semiconductor technology at the forefront.
\n
The Seeking Alpha News Team recently reported ON Semi as a top pick at Citigroup. Citigroup analyst Christopher Danely said, \"With January's earnings season on the horizon, now is a prime time for investors to buy semiconductor stocks as chip-sector shortages don't appear to be getting better any time soon...Danelynotes that business conditions for the semiconductor industry have not been this strong since 1999 and 2000 and that \"many\" companies are booked solid with orders through 2022.\"
\n
ON carries a C+ Valuation Grade, remaining attractive relative to its sector by more than 7.29%, at a Forward P/E of 22.43x. QCOM is already the world's biggest supplier of mobile phone chips, a wireless technology innovator, and 5G driver. The company has announced it will continue to expand into next-generation self-driving vehicles. SA news just reported Qualcomm could rally 25% higher in the next six months, according to Cerity Partners' Jim Lebenthal. Qualcomm, who already works with firms like Microsoft (MSFT) and Meta Platforms (FB), wants to grab hold of the EV market share, which is significantly higher than the phone chip industry, according to Cristiano Amon, QCOM President and CEO. In a November Press Release, Amon said, \"Our announcement with BMW today is the onset of a new era in automotive where two technology leaders have come together to design and develop…the next-generation automobile…we see an incredible number of changes in the industry that are driving things and putting Qualcomm at the intersection of demand for virtually every industry.\"
\n
When looking at QCOM's Factor Grades below, it's clear why we believe they are on solid footing.
\n
Source: Seeking Alpha Premium
\n
QCOM comes at a reasonable valuation, trading nearly 30% below its sector with a forward P/E of 17.27+; Forward PEG is almost 63% below the sector. Led by its fully-electric Mustang Mach-EFord, Ford set a new September record with EV sales surging 92% from the previous year to 9,150. Adding insult to injury, Doug Field,\"One of the top product leaders from Apple, Tesla and Segway,\"left Apple after aiding in the launch of its electric vehicle, poached by Ford as their new Chief Advanced Technology Officer. Online speculation indicates that this move may be the final nail in the Apple EV coffin. In a November Press Release, Amon said, \"Our announcement with BMW today is the onset of a new era in automotive where two technology leaders have come together to design and develop…the next-generation automobile…we see an incredible number of changes in the industry that are driving things and putting Qualcomm at the intersection of demand for virtually every industry.\"\nWhen looking at QCOM's Factor Grades below, it's clear why we believe they are on solid footing.\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nQCOM comes at a reasonable valuation, trading nearly 30% below its sector with a forward P/E of 17.27+; Forward PEG is almost 63% below the sector. The stock has strong growth, excellent profitability metrics, and many analysts increasing their earnings estimates. As fellow Seeking Alpha author Valuentum writes, \"Qualcomm's growth trajectory is supported by its push into the automotive arena and the IoT trend, which are expected to grow its total addressable market opportunity over the next decade.\"\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nIn addition to its strong profitability, QCOM is one of the best dividend-paying technology stocks. QCOM has a Dividend Growth Grade of A+. Because the trend and rise in popularity of electric vehicles is not the only way to make money, we are emphasizing another top semiconductor leading the wave of rising EVs, Microchip Technology Incorporated (MCHP).\nMicrochip Technology Incorporated\nAnother top EV chip-maker is MCHP, whose chips are used in wireless apps and devices for power management. MCHP’s chips specifically designed for electric vehicles is the artificial intelligence used to centralize computing and navigation and the powertrains and charging systems. Rated Very Bullish, out of 557 of our Top Tech Stocks, MCHP is ranked in the top 10% of this screener and continues to be on an upward trajectory, as evidenced by its B+ Momentum Grade.\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nFollowing recent Q2 Earnings results,Jefferies Financial Group, among other analysts, has increased their MCHP price target of $98 to $109, which implies a 22.7% upside. With an EPS of $1.07 that beat by $0.01 and Revenue of $1.65B beating nearly 26% YoY, it’s no wonder there are 21 FY1 Up Revisions in the last 90 days, prompting an A- Revisions Grade.\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nAs we look to the EV sector capitalizing on the use of semiconductors and investors wanting to know more about stocks in this space, let us discuss Ford (F), who recently partnered with GlobalFoundries (GFS), a multinational semiconductor manufacturing and design company to address the semiconductor shortage, thus positioning themselves as the next prominent EV manufacturer to rival Tesla and Apple in the space.\nYTD F, AAPL, TSLA PRICE RETURN COMPARISON\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nFord\nFord has been a differentiator since the invention of the automobile. Ford’s partnering with semiconductor company GlobalFoundries clarifies that it wants to lead the industry and evolve by all means necessary, striking deals with companies to source materials and the parts required to avoid supply chain disruptions. \"Semiconductor is going to become the defining line for differentiation in the automotive experience. I believe you're seeing automotive companies want to become what I would call more silicon aware. And that's exactly what Ford is doing in their MOU they signed with G.F. They want to first make sure that they understand the supply-demand dynamics… to make sure they influence the technology road maps for foundries so that the features that we create align with their needs,\"Tom Caulfield GFS CEO, Q3 2021 Earnings Call. So how does Ford compare to its E.V. rivals, Tesla and Apple, in the electric car race?\nFord Valuation vs. Tesla and Apple\nFord is undervalued with an overall valuation grade of C, forward P/E trading -25.82%, and the sector at 14.55X. The forward PEG ratio has an A+ grade, trading nearly 82% below the sector. When we compare Ford, Apple, and Tesla on Valuation, TSLA and AAPL receive an overall F Grade.\nCompared to Tesla and Apple with F Valuation Grades, both look unattractive on a PEG basis (P/E Ratio divided by EPS long-term growth). Tesla PEG of 3.52X is 263.70% above the sector, and Apple PEG of 2.81X, 70.78% above the sector.\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nSeeking Alpha’s Valuation Grade provides a unique view of how much a company is worth relative to other stocks in the same sector. Thanks to dozens of underlying metrics, the grades provide an instant characterization of the strength or weakness of the metric compared to similar stocks. Ford looks attractive on a 0.17X PEG basis and is not overvalued compared to the sector, with a median PEG of 0.97X.\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nWhile a C grade is not ideal, Ford still looks attractive. As a pioneer in its industry, it should fare well in the EV space. According to Aswath Damodaran,Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business at N.Y. University, the Automotive and Truck sector is sitting pretty, with a current P/E of 164.37 based upon January 2021 data and expected growth of 18.8% over the next five years with a PEG ratio of 8.87.\nApple's announcement of a fully autonomous vehicle has turned heads, especially given its wide range of technology and persistent delays to the project.Apple Car Project is being led by Ai and machine learning Chief John Giannandrea. \"We're focusing on autonomous systems. It's a core technology that we view as very important. We sort of see it as the mother of all AI projects. It's probably one of the most difficult AI projects actually to work on\" said,Apple CEO Tim Cook. Whereas Tesla and Ford have a leg up with emphasis in the automotive industry, as John Engel emphasizes in his Seeking Alpha article, \"Ultimately, I see little about the automotive sector – EV or otherwise – that would make it a natural fit for Apple. While I suspect the development of the Apple Car over the next few years will act as a positive catalyst for Apple's stock, it will end up being more of a liability than an asset.\" Let's compare each of their growth and profitability grades.\nFord Growth and Profitability vs. Tesla and Apple\nWith plans to build over 600,000 EV's annually by 2025 and Ford CEO Jim Farley pushing for 40% of its vehicles to be battery powered by 2030, its transition to electric cars is proving to be successful. While it's all speculation, as we compare the three EV makers, it's clear why we believe Ford will prove the victor and the EV stock to watch.\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nFord has delivered a stock price increase of more than 62% over the last five years and an increase of more than 132% YTD, bringing both A- Growth and A+ Profitability Factor Grades. With a Very Bullish rating and continually evolving in the changing landscape of electric vehicles, Ford is set to continue delivering results in the vehicle sector. Ford is built tough and has been resilient despite chip shortages and the effects brought on by the pandemic. Ford continues to introduce new vehicles and will launch an all-electric F-150 Lightning in 2022 that possesses a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds and a range of up to 300 miles. According to the CEO, there's a massive demand for this truck with 200,000 reservations.\nImage Source: 2022 Ford® F-150 Lightning Electric Truck |All Electric and All F-150\nThe American-made F-150 Lightning and its next-generation full-size electric pickup are developing in high volumes at its new facility in Blue Oval City, Tennessee. The numbers don't lie, and despite a semiconductor shortage, there's no shortage of buyers seeking Ford vehicles. The momentum is sure to continue, especially as Ford manages its partnership with GlobalFoundries and continues to make strides to outpace Tesla and Apple.\nWhile we continue to see vehicles generated by Ford, we have yet to see the release of an actual Apple EV. Tesla, on the other hand, the pioneer of the electric vehicle, continues to showcase why their cutting-edge battery technology is rated the best car in its class. It's no secret that Tesla continues to build cars for more and more people, making products accessible and affordable while also bridging the gap towards clean transport and renewable energy.\nImage Source: Model S\nWe feel Ford's biggest contender in the EV space is Tesla, and Ford also contends that it will be the No. 2 EV producer in two years. Following a Ford EPS of $0.51 beats by $0.24 and 19 FY1 Up Revisions in the last 90 days, it's no wonder Ford is neck-to-neck with its competitors on Profitability with A+ ratings. Ford's continued strength indicates why Jim Farley, Ford CEO during the Q3 Earnings Call, said, \"We're moving aggressively to lead the electric vehicle revolution, substantially expanding our battery production as we speak today in the U.S. In fact, we already announced plans that will give us enough battery production to meet our mid-decade goal of 141 gigawatts, which is enough to build more than 1 million battery electric vehicles a year, and I think we'll need more.\"\nFORD EARNINGS AND REVISIONS\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nFord, Tesla, and Apple Momentum\nEach of the stocks, Ford, Tesla, and Apple continue to put their money where they believe there is an upside. Momentum is a successful trading strategy in which investors buy rising stocks and sell as they're retreating, and it is a vital factor for predicting stock price performance for those wanting to hold long term.\nInvestor confidence remains high in the EV space, with each stock exhibiting A or better Momentum Grades. Year-to-date, Ford has remained up 57.27% over the previous three months while the sector is down nearly 5%. Tesla is up 30% and Apple more than 17%.\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nSource: Seeking Alpha Premium\nConclusion: FordIsBuilt Tough and an EV Stock To Watch\nElectric Vehicle stocks can make a great return on investment, especially if you can identify those with fair valuations, excellent fundamentals and capitalize on their growth and momentum. In addition, sectors linked to EVs like semiconductors can also be great stock picks. In the current environment, where each of these stock picks offers a good balance of growth and value, it's a great play to diversify your portfolio and ride the EV and semiconductor wave. With the better valuation and continued advancements and momentum, we believe that Ford is the most opportune of the EV stock picks, but it's up to you to decide for yourself.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":0.9,"F":0.9,"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1986,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":604937781,"gmtCreate":1639304151090,"gmtModify":1639304379218,"author":{"id":"3583033675115574","authorId":"3583033675115574","name":"hellodarz888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4e5f7fa39ea3c821aa8099f517287dcb","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583033675115574","authorIdStr":"3583033675115574"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Really?","listText":"Really?","text":"Really?","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/604937781","repostId":"2190679207","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1953,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":604937267,"gmtCreate":1639304135040,"gmtModify":1639304378842,"author":{"id":"3583033675115574","authorId":"3583033675115574","name":"hellodarz888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4e5f7fa39ea3c821aa8099f517287dcb","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583033675115574","authorIdStr":"3583033675115574"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Gogogo","listText":"Gogogo","text":"Gogogo","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/604937267","repostId":"2190992671","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1623,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":604937166,"gmtCreate":1639304091674,"gmtModify":1639304091849,"author":{"id":"3583033675115574","authorId":"3583033675115574","name":"hellodarz888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4e5f7fa39ea3c821aa8099f517287dcb","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583033675115574","authorIdStr":"3583033675115574"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Gogogo","listText":"Gogogo","text":"Gogogo","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/604937166","repostId":"2190567199","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2226,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":604937348,"gmtCreate":1639304078367,"gmtModify":1639304078541,"author":{"id":"3583033675115574","authorId":"3583033675115574","name":"hellodarz888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4e5f7fa39ea3c821aa8099f517287dcb","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583033675115574","authorIdStr":"3583033675115574"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Lets Buffeted also by anxiety around the coronavirus, the S&P 500 just endured its worst stretch of turbulence in more than a year.\n\nFor investors, an urgent question becomes whether Tuesday’s congressional testimony was a watershed moment for the monetary policies that have helped the S&P 500 effectively to double since Christmas 2018. That’s when Powell’s last big pivot occurred -- the dismantling of interest-rate hikes that made the fourth quarter of that year one of the worst for equities ever.\nJerome Powell on Nov. 30.Photographer: Al Drago/Bloomberg\n“Not only is he speaking in a more hawkish tone, but he’s dropping major policy implications almost without regard to how the markets may take them,” said Max Gokhman, chief investment officer at AlphaTrAI. “All of the predictability he’s previously tried to cultivate in terms of taper and liftoff scheduling is in question.”\nMissing from Powell’s script Tuesday was the sense of deliberation that has defined his message ever since transforming from hawk to dove at the end of 2018.\nWhile it remains to be seen how radical a shift is at play now, the change in tone was unmistakable in markets that have heard virtually nothing but encouraging words from the Fed since 2018. Investors now find themselves potentially at the mercy of economic reports that have painted an increasingly bleak picture of inflation.\n“Markets will be very reactive to the data, probably over-reactive,” said Michael Kantrowitz, head of portfolio strategy at Cornerstone Macro. “There is a lot of fog we need to get through.”\n\nSince the start of his tenure as Fed chair in February 2018, Powell has gone out of his way to redefine the way the central bank looks at both its employment and inflation mandates, letting price increases accelerate past prior targets in the interest of getting more of the population back to work and at higher-paying jobs. At virtually every turn, markets cheered his dovishness, extending the Treasuries bull run and powering heady returns in stocks.\nNow, Powell is suggesting the inflation target has been met. If the job recovery continues, he’s effectively prepared to usher in higher interest rates, according to Neil Dutta, head of U.S. economics at Renaissance Macro.\nPowell “is opening the door to an earlier rate hike by signaling a sooner end to taper,” Dutta said. “The risk to markets would be if the Fed started tightening well before the employment goals were achieved. That is not happening right now. Between now and the time the tapering is done, employment will continue accelerating.”\nNot that the Powell Fed has turned overtly hawkish -- yet.
