St Barbara (ASX:SBM) requested an immediate trading halt on its securities pending disclosures regarding potential material transactions at the Simberi gold mine in Papua New Guinea and expansion project feasibility study outcomes, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The trading halt will remain in effect until either the start of trading on Dec. 12 or the release of information regarding the mine, whichever occurs first, the filing said.
