Plotkin宣布，<b>在遭受巨额亏损后，该基金于周二下午平仓了GameStop的空头头寸。不过他并未透露此次Melvin的亏损金额。</b></p>\n<p>Gabe Plotkin还澄清了市场上关于Melvin Capital即将清算的流言，他表示，<b>市场上有关该基金将申请破产的猜测是谣言。</b></p>\n<p>而令Melvin栽了跟头的GameStop则继续上涨，<b>本周GameStop的股价就上涨了一倍以上，达到每股近150美元，一月份涨幅达到了685％。此时谁能想到该股票四个月前仅值6美元。周三美股盘前，其股价还在继续疯涨，一度涨逾140%，随后收窄至65%。</b></p>\n<p>根据S3 Partners的数据，<b>在GameStop的爆炸性反弹中，卖空者迄今累积的按市值计价的股票亏损超过50亿美元。</b></p>\n<p>虽然Melvin彻底认输，但这次逼空大戏恐怕并不会就此结束。据零对冲，美国散户的下一个目标可能就是另外一家规模相对较小的对冲基金——Maplelane Capital。</p>\n<p><b>Maplelane Capital是一家总部位于纽约、规模约33亿美元的对冲基金，成立于2010年，是一家专注于利用期权交易执行做空策略的对冲基金。</b></p>\n<p>Maplelane Capital是由Leon Shaulov创立的，他曾是臭名昭著的科技对冲基金Galleon的创始人，他的老板Raj Rajaratnam在十多年前因内幕交易<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/GS\">高盛</a>董事提供的消息而入狱。</p>\n<p>零对冲对该对冲基金的投资风格进行了简单介绍，如下：</p>\n<blockquote>\n 该基金主要专注于股票投资，以寻求有吸引力的回报。此外，其投资组合通常以短线著称，但也偶尔会持有一些较长时间的头寸。该基金使用了大量的杠杆，利用期权交易来执行其策略。该基金在股票市场上拥有大量的净空头敞口。\n</blockquote>\n<p>简单来说，<b>这就是一家利用期权来做空美股的基金，并且还加了很高的杠杆，可以说是名副其实的大空头。</b></p>\n<p>看到这，你或许已经明白为什么它可能是美国散户的下个目标了。</p>\n<p>下图展示了该基金最新的13F持仓，可以看到，它的持仓跟Melvin非常相似，基本上以做空为主，甚至还持有更多的看跌期权。下图便是MapleLane最新的持仓：</p>\n<p><img referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"></p>\n<p>可以看到，MapleLane做空的股票大都是在华尔街被做空最严重的股票，所以，MapleLane也可能像Melvin一样遭到美国散户的狙击。</p>\n<p>关于该基金今年迄今的表现，我们唯一能看到的是《华尔街日报》的一篇简短报道，<b>称该基金“今年业绩出现了下滑”</b>。</p>\n<p>如果MapleLane也像Melvin一样遭遇巨额损失，被要求追加保证金，该基金要么拿出数十亿美元来填补保证金，要么进行清算。除非Citadel、SAC pardon Point72或者其他大型对冲基金也对它伸出援手，为其追加保证金进行融资。</p>\n<p>Wallstreetbets的一位网友表示，<b>上次把对冲基金逼到这个境地的是2008年的金融危机，当时对冲基金们都争相卖掉流动性强，容易变现的资产，那些难以变现的不动产则被抛在一边。</b></p>\n<p>值得注意的是，此次的散户逼空热潮还可能进一步升级。对冲基金的多头头寸也已经受到了波及。对冲基金们的多头头寸也突然之间陷入了困境。<b>Square Inc.、<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/ROKU\">Roku Inc</a>.和Peloton Interactive等对冲基金最看好的股票周二都至少下跌了3%。</b></p>\n<p>另外，<b>高盛追踪对冲基金最青睐股票的“对冲行业VIP ETF”已经连续四天下跌，创下去年10月以来最长连跌纪录</b>，与此同时，<b>被做空最严重的股票篮子却上涨了15%</b>。市场似乎已经完全跟对冲基金反着来了。</p>\n<p>Bay Crest Partners首席市场技术分析师Jonathan Krinsky表示，<b>如果空头头寸出现过大的亏损，情况可能越来越糟，甚至会连累多头头寸，对冲基金的基金经理们将不得不大幅减持来减少亏损。</b></p>\n<p>一旦对冲基金开始反射性地卖出原本的多头头寸以筹集资金回补空头，会形成一个恶性循环，<b>导致基金的总体去杠杆化，更多的空头回补。与此同时，大多数被做空股票的价格将继续飙升。</b></p>\n<p>零对冲指出，目前市场上发生的一切既不是对冲基金的错，也不是散户的错。唯一需要为这种情况负责的可能就是美联储，它注入了数以万亿美元的资金，初衷是希望维持市场稳定，但实际上，它的做法却扭曲了市场。很多投资者都对市场上正在发生的事情感到“惊讶”。</p>","source":"jssj","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE
