$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ In August 2024, Hindenburg Research, a prominent short-selling firm, released a report on SMCI which led to a significant decline in SMCI’s stock value, which has fallen from its all time high of $114 to $18 in just 6 months. I'll now explain why I continue to buy SMCI at $18 level despite all the bad news: 1. Valuation: at $18 a share, PE is around 10 which looks very undervalued. Not many days you can buy a tech stock for a PE under 10. The last time I had the opportunity was when Facebook dropped to $88 and PE was 8 that time. 2. SMCI plays a significant role in Nvidia’s overall revenue, particularly in the data center segment. SMCI designs and manufactures high-performance servers and computi
DeepSeek: A Game-Changer for China or a Wake-Up Call for U.S. AI?
The Soviet Union launched the first artificial satellite, Sputnik 1, on October 4, 1957. This event marked the beginning of the Space Race between the Soviet Union and the United States. The successful launch of Sputnik 1 shocked the U.S. because it demonstrated Soviet advancements in space technology and intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capabilities. In response, the U.S. significantly increased investments in science, technology, and education, leading to: • The creation of NASA in 1958. • The establishment of the National Defense Education Act (NDEA) to boost STEM education. • Increased funding for research and development in aerospace and military technology. This competition eventually led to major American achievements, including the Apollo 11 Moon landing in 1969. Dee
$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ When OpenAI introduced ChatGPT, many speculated that it could challenge Google’s dominance in the search engine market. I remember google crashed to $80+ range due to this news. Despite these concerns, fast forward today, Google maintained its stronghold, commanding more than 80% of the global search engine market share. While Google’s stock experienced fluctuations when ChatGPT introduced to the market, Google eventually rebounded, reaffirming the company’s robust position in the industry. Currently, a parallel situation is unfolding with the emergence of DeepSeek, a Chinese AI startup. DeepSeek has developed an AI model that rivals existing technologies but operates at a fraction of the cost. This innovation has led to
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ 🎢 Journey with PLTR: From $30 to $6 to $72 I started buying PLTR shares the day it went public, driven by my belief that data intelligence is the future. In Jan 2021, the stock quickly soared to an all-time high of $35. As people say, the faster it rises, the harder it crash. And indeed it crashed to $6 on Dec 2022. During the low period, I continue to hold on and even bought more shares. That was a period when the market was filled with doubt, negativity, and uncertainty about PLTR’s potential. Going against the crowd wasn’t easy—it took a lot of courage to invest when others were skeptical. Fast forward to today, and PLTR has skyrocketed to above $80 and recently stabilized at $60-70 level. See
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ The stock market is the only place where people don’t like discounts. I often hear people say, ‘My stock dropped 50%! What should I do? Should I sell?’ My answer: If you dare to buy a quality company at $100, you should be even happier if it drops to $50 tomorrow—that’s your chance to buy more!(thats me, I'm hoping the stock I own drop 90% so I can buy even cheaper). Own more shares of quality companies at cheaper prices. Trust your research, stay unemotional, and focus on the long term. In time, you’ll see the rewards.”l
#AMD Share price is at 52 weeks low now. EPS and Revenue are both increasing but not share price. AMD has very solid data center and they produce chips for AI as well. Looks like an opportunity due to price mismatch. Huge margin of safety as compared to other chips stock.
