Some high-quality businesses like Coinbase , Crocs , and Target are selling at attractive prices right now.

Let's take a look at why you should seriously consider buying these three undervalued stocks.

Coinbase

Coinbase is the top cryptocurrency brokerage and exchange in the U.S. with 7.4 million monthly transacting users and over $1.2 billion in revenue in the most recent quarter (ended Sept. 30). Retail and institutional users can trade 103 differentcryptoassets on Coinbase's platform, and developers can use the company's technological infrastructure to build blockchain-based projects.

While the business did produce almost 90% of its sales from volatile and unpredictable transaction fees, management is investing heavily toward boosting subscription and services. A promising and potentially game-changing initiative is the soon-to-be-released Coinbase NFT, a marketplace for users to mint, buy, and discover non-fungible tokens.

In order to own Coinbase, you would need to believe that digital assets are here to stay. Effectively, it's a bet on the growth of the entire ecosystem. Investors don't have to choose which individual cryptocurrencies will go up in value as Coinbase should ultimately succeed as the whole industry goes more mainstream.

Coinbase shares have lost 48% from their all-time high set in early November. And the stock currently trades for aprice-to-earnings(P/E) ratio of just 17. No doubt, volatility is a key factor that investors need to consider. But if cryptocurrencies continue their growth in the decade ahead, Coinbase will be a major beneficiary, making it a solid investment.

Crocs

With sales that soared more than 50% in each of the past four quarters, Crocs has been experiencing a resurgence thanks to the pandemic. Consumers are increasingly focused on comfort and utility above all else, and Crocs has been a huge winner as a result. The company's remarkable gross margin of 63.9% significantly outshines that of heavyweight Nike.

Management fully understands that Crocs' fate depends upon the success of its popular foam clogs, which account for more than 82% of sales. But the recently announced$2.5 billion acquisitionof Italian casual footwear brand HeyDude is a clear sign of its intention to diversify the business. HeyDude is projected to generate $700 million to $750 million in revenue in 2022. It's profitable, experiencing rapid growth, and can easily tuck into Crocs' existing distribution channels and geographic footprint.

Even if we exclude the impact of the HeyDude purchase, the leadership team believes that Crocs will have $5 billion in annual sales by 2026. Continuing to utilize a marketing strategy focused on celebrity and branded collaborations -- as well as gaining share in China, the world's second-biggest footwear market -- will be vital to achieving this financial target.

Crocs' stock price has dropped 44% since November, and the company now sports a market cap of $9 billion. Given its ridiculously low P/E ratio of only 9, I think investors should pounce on this opportunity.

Target

The pandemic certainly dealt a blow to physical shopping, but because of investments made years ago to bolster its digital capabilities, Target was able to shine. The momentum is still strong as thistop retailerincreased same-store sales 12.7% year over year in its fiscal 2021 third-quarter, driven entirely by higher foot traffic. All five merchandise categories registered double-digit gains.

Target uses its footprint of more than 1,900 stores as local distribution hubs. Customers can order items for same-day curbside or in-store pick-up as well as for same-day delivery via Shipt. In the latest quarter that ended Oct. 30, these digital orders soared 60% year over year. And this was after skyrocketing 200% in the prior-year period. An incredible 95% of sales in the quarter were fulfilled by a Target store, helping inventory availability and reducing the need for costly logistics providers.

Although Target has been posting impressive sales and profit growth since the start of the pandemic, shares are selling today at an extremely attractive P/E ratio of 16. Some high-quality businesses like Coinbase , Crocs , and Target are selling at attractive prices right now.Let's take a look at why you should seriously consider buying these three undervalued stocks.Coinbase Coinbase is the top cryptocurrency brokerage and exchange in the U.S. with 7.4 million monthly transacting users and over $1.2 billion in revenue in the most recent quarter (ended Sept. Investors don't have to choose which individual cryptocurrencies will go up in value as Coinbase should ultimately succeed as the whole industry goes more mainstream.Coinbase shares have lost 48% from their all-time high set in early November. And the stock currently trades for aprice-to-earnings(P/E) ratio of just 17. No doubt, volatility is a key factor that investors need to consider. But if cryptocurrencies continue their growth in the decade ahead, Coinbase will be a major beneficiary, making it a solid investment.Crocs With sales that soared more than 50% in each of the past four quarters, Crocs has been experiencing a resurgence thanks to the pandemic. Consumers are increasingly focused on comfort and utility above all else, and Crocs has been a huge winner as a result. The company's remarkable gross margin of 63.9% significantly outshines that of heavyweight Nike.Management fully understands that Crocs' fate depends upon the success of its popular foam clogs, which account for more than 82% of sales. But the recently announced$2.5 billion acquisitionof Italian casual footwear brand HeyDude is a clear sign of its intention to diversify the business. HeyDude is projected to generate $700 million to $750 million in revenue in 2022. It's profitable, experiencing rapid growth, and can easily tuck into Crocs' existing distribution channels and geographic footprint.Even if we exclude the impact of the HeyDude purchase, the leadership team believes that Crocs will have $5 billion in annual sales by 2026. Continuing to utilize a marketing strategy focused on celebrity and branded collaborations -- as well as gaining share in China, the world's second-biggest footwear market -- will be vital to achieving this financial target.Crocs' stock price has dropped 44% since November, and the company now sports a market cap of $9 billion. Given its ridiculously low P/E ratio of only 9, I think investors should pounce on this opportunity.Target The pandemic certainly dealt a blow to physical shopping, but because of investments made years ago to bolster its digital capabilities, Target was able to shine. The momentum is still strong as thistop retailerincreased same-store sales 12.7% year over year in its fiscal 2021 third-quarter, driven entirely by higher foot traffic. All five merchandise categories registered double-digit gains.Target uses its footprint of more than 1,900 stores as local distribution hubs. Customers can order items for same-day curbside or in-store pick-up as well as for same-day delivery via Shipt. In the latest quarter that ended Oct. 30, these digital orders soared 60% year over year. And this was after skyrocketing 200% in the prior-year period. An incredible 95% of sales in the quarter were fulfilled by a Target store, helping inventory availability and reducing the need for costly logistics providers.Although Target has been posting impressive sales and profit growth since the start of the pandemic, shares are selling today at an extremely attractive P/E ratio of 16. That's a lot lower than for such competitors as Amazon, Costco, and Walmart, all of which trade at multiples greater than 40. Shareholders should also be excited about regular dividends and stock repurchases.Brick-and-mortar retail isn't dead; it's just changing to a more consumer-friendly, omnichannel approach. And Target is leading this digital transition.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"COIN":0.9,"CROX":0.9,"TGT":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1918,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":639262046,"gmtCreate":1643315659704,"gmtModify":1643315659835,"author":{"id":"3582538202393061","authorId":"3582538202393061","name":"Zivcheah","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d52882be9b594ebb5b5933851792d286","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582538202393061","authorIdStr":"3582538202393061"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"O","listText":"O","text":"O","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/639262046","repostId":"1107620014","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1107620014","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1643294518,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1107620014?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2022-01-27 22:41","market":"us","language":"en","title":"EV Stocks Dropped in Morning Trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1107620014","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"EV stocks dropped in morning trading, with NIO falling over 4% and XPeng falling over 6%.","content":"

EV stocks dropped in morning trading, with NIO falling over 4% and XPeng falling over 6%.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Here's what","content":"

On January 26, it will be Tesla's turn to report fiscal fourth-quarter earnings results. Here's what analysts are saying ahead of the release.

The $1 trillion market-cap company Tesla will report its fiscal fourth-quarter results after the closing bell on January 26. With the company already reporting record vehicle deliveries in quarter, as well as for full-year 2021, it's no surprise that Wall Street is bullish on Tesla.

However, should investors expect another rally after earnings?

Figure 1: Tesla Stock Earnings: Here's What Wall Street Expects

A Recap of Third-Quarter Earnings

In the company's most recent earnings report, released on October 20, 2021, Tesla easily beat both its earnings per share (EPS) and revenue estimates. As a result, the stock skyrocketed more than 40% through early November and pushed Tesla into a select group of companies with market caps above $1 trillion.

Tesla reported EPS of $1.86, which was 25 cents above Wall Street's expectations. And its third-quarter revenue of $13.76 billion beat the consensus estimate by $54.6 million. That marked a 56% increase, compared with the same period last year.

One of the key metrics that generated the most excitement in the markets was Tesla's delivery of 241,391 vehicles in the third quarter. This set a new record for the company and beat analysts' expectations.

According to Tesla’s management, the third quarter set records in several aspects, highlighting best-ever net income, operating profit, and gross profit.

Tesla's Fourth-Quarter Earnings Expectations

Management's forecast for the fourth quarter indicates that Tesla is focused on growing manufacturing capacity as fast as possible. The company aims to achieve 40% average annual growth in vehicle deliveries by ramping up production at its gigafactories in Berlin, Germany, and Austin, Texas.

On the cash and profit fronts, Tesla assures investors that it has sufficient liquidity to fund the product roadmap in line with its long-term capacity to grow production, with operating margins continuing to grow over time.

As announced by the company on January 2, in the fourth quarter, Tesla achieved production of more than 305,000 vehicles and deliveries of more than 308,000 vehicles — far beyond the 263,026 that experts were expecting. That makes the 2021 total of vehicles delivered more than 936,000.

So for fourth-quarter earnings, expectations are higher. Wall Street forecasts earnings per share of $2.35 and revenues of $16.65 billion, which indicates an increase in EPS estimates of 193% year-over-year and revenue estimates of more than 55% year-over-year.

Figure 2: Tesla's EPS surprise and estimates by quarter.

What Wall Street Experts Are Saying Ahead of Earnings

The consensus among Wall Street is generally bullish. Tesla has been labeled a moderate buy and has an average price target of $1,057.39, implying an upside of 6% from current levels.

Listed below are some of the latest ratings provided by Wall Street experts:

With a hold recommendation on TSLA, and with a price target at $1,025, Credit Suisse analyst Dan Levy views Tesla's stock performance with skepticism based on four pillars: the acceleration of production capacity, the direction of gross profit margins, the introduction of new batteries, and new product announcements.

Bullish with a buy recommendation and forecasting a $1,300 price target, Piper Sandler analyst Alexander Potter highlights the 309,000 vehicles reported by the company in the fourth quarter above Wall Street's 270,000 forecast, indicating that more cars mean more earnings and that Tesla should earn $2.50 a share in Q4.

Jefferies analyst Philippe Houchois is another bull who recommends buying TSLA. He predicts a price target of $1,400. According to him, he sees Tesla as an EV leader ahead of its peers, growing rapidly and delivering vehicles above market estimates.

Dan Ives from Wedbush, is another convicted bull. With a buy recommendation and a $1,400 price target, the analyst sees the Austin and Berlin gigafactories, as well as lower operating costs, as key to Tesla's growth through 2022. Here's what analysts are saying ahead of the release.The $1 trillion market-cap company Tesla will report its fiscal fourth-quarter results after the closing bell on January 26. With the company already reporting record vehicle deliveries in quarter, as well as for full-year 2021, it's no surprise that Wall Street is bullish on Tesla.However, should investors expect another rally after earnings?Figure 1: Tesla Stock Earnings: Here's What Wall Street ExpectsA Recap of Third-Quarter EarningsIn the company's most recent earnings report, released on October 20, 2021, Tesla easily beat both its earnings per share (EPS) and revenue estimates. As a result, the stock skyrocketed more than 40% through early November and pushed Tesla into a select group of companies with market caps above $1 trillion.Tesla reported EPS of $1.86, which was 25 cents above Wall Street's expectations. And its third-quarter revenue of $13.76 billion beat the consensus estimate by $54.6 million. That marked a 56% increase, compared with the same period last year.One of the key metrics that generated the most excitement in the markets was Tesla's delivery of 241,391 vehicles in the third quarter. This set a new record for the company and beat analysts' expectations.According to Tesla’s management, the third quarter set records in several aspects, highlighting best-ever net income, operating profit, and gross profit.Tesla's Fourth-Quarter Earnings ExpectationsManagement's forecast for the fourth quarter indicates that Tesla is focused on growing manufacturing capacity as fast as possible. The company aims to achieve 40% average annual growth in vehicle deliveries by ramping up production at its gigafactories in Berlin, Germany, and Austin, Texas.On the cash and profit fronts, Tesla assures investors that it has sufficient liquidity to fund the product roadmap in line with its long-term capacity to grow production, with operating margins continuing to grow over time.As announced by the company on January 2, in the fourth quarter, Tesla achieved production of more than 305,000 vehicles and deliveries of more than 308,000 vehicles — far beyond the 263,026 that experts were expecting. That makes the 2021 total of vehicles delivered more than 936,000.So for fourth-quarter earnings, expectations are higher. Wall Street forecasts earnings per share of $2.35 and revenues of $16.65 billion, which indicates an increase in EPS estimates of 193% year-over-year and revenue estimates of more than 55% year-over-year.Figure 2: Tesla's EPS surprise and estimates by quarter.What Wall Street Experts Are Saying Ahead of EarningsThe consensus among Wall Street is generally bullish. Tesla has been labeled a moderate buy and has an average price target of $1,057.39, implying an upside of 6% from current levels.Listed below are some of the latest ratings provided by Wall Street experts:With a hold recommendation on TSLA, and with a price target at $1,025, Credit Suisse analyst Dan Levy views Tesla's stock performance with skepticism based on four pillars: the acceleration of production capacity, the direction of gross profit margins, the introduction of new batteries, and new product announcements.Bullish with a buy recommendation and forecasting a $1,300 price target, Piper Sandler analyst Alexander Potter highlights the 309,000 vehicles reported by the company in the fourth quarter above Wall Street's 270,000 forecast, indicating that more cars mean more earnings and that Tesla should earn $2.50 a share in Q4.Jefferies analyst Philippe Houchois is another bull who recommends buying TSLA. He predicts a price target of $1,400. According to him, he sees Tesla as an EV leader ahead of its peers, growing rapidly and delivering vehicles above market estimates.Dan Ives from Wedbush, is another convicted bull. With a buy recommendation and a $1,400 price target, the analyst sees the Austin and Berlin gigafactories, as well as lower operating costs, as key to Tesla's growth through 2022. He cites scaled battery technology as Tesla's differentiator against its competitors.Pierre Farragu from New Street expectsTesla shares to \"sustainably trade\" in the 50-100 price-to-earnings valuation range. With a buy recommendation and a $1,580 price target, he predicts a \"perfect storm\" for TSLA in 2022 as production ramps up and gigafactories go online. This leads him to forecast a production run rate to over 1.8 million by the end of 2022 if chip shortages do not become a significant headwind.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2229,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":630289622,"gmtCreate":1642904010584,"gmtModify":1642904010696,"author":{"id":"3582538202393061","authorId":"3582538202393061","name":"Zivcheah","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d52882be9b594ebb5b5933851792d286","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582538202393061","authorIdStr":"3582538202393061"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"O","listText":"O","text":"O","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/630289622","repostId":"1167151433","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1167151433","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1642782548,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1167151433?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2022-01-22 00:29","market":"us","language":"en","title":"U.S. Stock Benchmarks Turn Positive LatE-morning in Volatile Friday Trade","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1167151433","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"U.S. stock benchmarks turn positive late-morning in volatile Friday trade.Dow gains 0.4%;
