Back in 2022, I wrote an article about my visit to Tesla's Singapore's showroom and how unimpressed I am by Tesla cars. It's overhyped and expensive for what they provide.

During that time, there were significant tesla cars on Singapore's roads.

Fast forward 2 years later, the EVs on the road are dominated by BYD. BYD managed to produce cars that are high quality, functional and yet cheaper than tesla. 

BYD cars are winning awards in 2023

With tesla no where in sight. 

To make things worse, other car companies like Hyundai are improving their ev quality, such as Ioniq 5 which won car of year award.

Tesla has been losing its edge as a car maker as other companies start to close on to their lead. In BYD's case, they simply walkEd over tesla and claimed their lead. 

Elon musk had been talking for years on Full self driving for years now. Robo taxis also.

Imagine if we are ceo in a company and we kept on delaying on product launches, won't we be thrown out of the company by then?

Not only is Elon musk not thrown out for tech that kept on delaying and promises after promises of something big that never comes, he has the gall to demand compensation.

Pay Elon musk, Tesla must. 

Just to keep him around while he dangles more carrots for shareholders to bite.

At it's core, tesla is a car company. that's all. FSD? Oh it's called FSD (supervised), where's the self driving in self driving? Robotaxi? Seriously, if cannot solve FSD, where in the world do robo taxi come from? PHV drivers who drives tesla who cosplay as robots?

For the amount of hype that surrounds tesla, there's surprisingly few updates besides model Y and cyber truck. Which, let's face it, are cars. Just EVs. 

Instead of focusing on growing tesla, Elon musk has been distracted with demanding his compensation, busy changing a twitter bird to a X, carrying small round things of someone with small hands. 

Best part is small hands is Hardly the most honourable of men. Guess there could be more honour amongst thieves than with him.

But hey, Elon musk can be his advisor, that is if trump can even win with his self sabotaging efforts.

In summary, Elon musk has been too distracted and hardly been focusing on tesla and bringing tesla up and building its tech. 

While he is distracted, the world is catching up. What makes matters worse Is that he chose possibly the worst candidate to support for us elections. [Spurting]  [Facepalm]  

Guess I do not need to say that I see value in selling call options on tesla. [Cool]
