Starbucks Raises Dividend for 11th Straight Year, On its Way to Dividend Aristocrat Status

Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) announced that its Board of Directors has approved an increase in the quarterly cash dividend per share to $0.49 from $0.45, to be paid on November 26, 2021, to shareholders of record on November 12, 2021. The ex-dividend date is November 10, 2021. The annualized dividend moves $1.96 per share.

The annual yield on the dividend based on the new payout is 1.7 percent.

The company, which initiated its dividend in 2010, has increased it in each of the past 11 years.

With the hike the Starbucks continues on its path to Dividend Aristocrats status - or companies that raise their dividends for at least 25 consecutive years.
